Found baby raccoons/opossums? [california]

Family friend found two baby animals on the floor in their chicken coop, she picked them up and put them in a box with a warm water bottle to keep them warm, where they were found. The mom came and got them later that night. Are these baby raccoons or opossums?? They are living in the attic of the shed, because they can hear them cry sometimes. They put a camera out and caught an opossum on the cameras going out of the hole in the attic. These look like raccoons to me but they are saying they are opossums. Someone help us ID please.

Seller saying my roo is not a roo?

Yall here’s the tea, so I bought 4 chicks this spring, 2 of them were bantams and they were all suppose to be girls. All was fine until one started to posture at me and try to attack me. I assumed this is probably a male, because iv never had a hen act like this before. A week later the other bantam started crowing haha. I contacted the seller a (popular website) to see if I could get my money back (to buy more chickens) for the two roosters. Well they are 17-18 weeks now and the mean one has not started crowing. I sent pictures of him, but they are saying he doesn’t look like a rooster and some hens are just mean… what do you guys think?? Am I crazy? It’s the black and white Cochin in the video.

Track ID (South Carolina)

These tracks are from a video I just seen, a man had his 47 chickens killed, but not eaten. Whatever it was got into the pin and had a wild time apparently. Can you ID these tracks left in the dirt? (South Carolina) I put the man’s hand pointing at the track for scale, seems like an average size dude. That track seems to be about 2 and half inches. Maybe I’m not good at eyesight measurement, but also seems to be different species in the pictures…

Help, my son is scared to tackle

I just got my son into 8u, he is 6, this is his first year in football. His first week was brutal. He was getting tackled hard by the bigger more experienced kids showing off. Now he is scared to tackle. I’m trying to help him and teach him techniques, and have him practice on me so he can get use to it. Unfortunately I don’t have any other kids his size to practice with so it’s just me and his BJJ dummy. Does anyone have any advice? They put him as a linebacker.

Scope recs 🫠

Yall, I need some tips here. I’m a beginner, my husband got me a PCP Umarex Notos air rifle for my birthday , I didn’t realize it didn’t come with sights. I need a scope, that’s not worth a month of mortgage. Maybe under $200, I just want to shoot the ground squirrels at about 100-300 yards. They think I’m dumb at this point.

My boy stopped crowing

I found out my hen was a boy about 3 weeks ago when he started crowing! Pierre is 4 months now. He began to crow every morning but for the last week and a half he completely stopped : / he’s not sick or acting weird. Is this normal? I do have another roo that was a surprise as well. He’s the same age, 16 weeks, he isn’t mean to Pierre, but he is more dominant in nature and does not crow… I’m trying to figure out why he would stop crowing….

First time owner rooster question

This Spring I bought 4 chickens to add to my flock, two were bantams. A bantam Cochin and a bantam d’Uccle. I just found out the two bantams are both roosters 🫠
iv never owned a rooster before and I love them both, but I read online they won’t be able to successfully mate a normal sized chicken… will this create a problem, do they get mad if they can’t successfully mate? I have 7 chickens and 2 roosters.

Also can you keep two roosters together? The Cochin is kind of a meany but not too bad, the d’uccle is an absolute sweet heart, would have never known he was a rooster if I didn’t physically see him crow today.

What lives in these holes

Bought a house in the country and I am not prepared lol, there are many holes around the property some small, some large. I took some pictures of the larger ones because it has to be something bigger than a mole or gopher. The first two pictures are the same hole and are pretty big in size. I’m sure it’s hard to tell just from a picture, maybe some suggestions? I live in the Central Valley in CA

Crapey skin : (

I’m two weeks post op and have noticed crapey skin. I knew this was a risk but I was willing to take it, I’m still happy with my results, although I am swollen still. Does anyone have any experience with crapey skin? Did it get better or worse? I am 35 years old for reference.

Post op care question

I was instructed to not turn my head for two weeks, I did really good the first week but omg…. It’s so hard not to! It’s just reflex, I went 30 years freely moving my head around which ever way I wanted haha I’m scared I’m going to ruin my results. I can’t help it!
I’m just wondering what how long other people’s surgeons instructed them to not move their head, I’m not questioning my surgeon at all, I’m just curious.

Age old question

She’s about 10 weeks old, she’s a bantam Cochin. The only reason I think she could be a rooster, is because sometimes she’s mean! Iv never had a hen run up to me with her chest out and peck me! Maybe she’s just mean in the mornings idk haha

Is this normal?

Got chin lipo done on Thursday, won’t be able to speak to surgeon till Monday. When I do my massages I hear what sounds like… liquid? Maybe air bubbles when massaging my jaw line…. It’s not noticeable, but I can hear it. Is that normal?
