Smoker I've built this year in action! Today I'm smoking some trouts
The smoker is my own design based on many found online, brick fireplace, double walled insulated alder walls

I was surprised when I noticed an astronaut - u/astro_pettit is a member of the one and only real photography subreddit. Too bad he's using a Nik*n and not a Leica
Ciasto robione najprostsze możliwe - mąka i wrzątek, farsz zrobiłem dosyć mocno pieprzny bo taki lubię najbardziej ❤️
The table is made from ash and stained brown, then finished using osmo hard oil wax. It was my first coffee table build, and I think it turned out quite nicely!
I started by drawing the shape on my PC and then turning it into templates using a CNC router. The templates then were used to guide me with a regular router with a bearing bit. I had a few problems with tearout because I was going too fast with the router and the bit got caught a few times. Then I used a 15mm radius bit to round off all the edges.
Sanding the whole thing took quite some time because of all the round overs and curves - I used a foam sanding disc for my orbital sander.
The finishing went rather smooth, both staining and oiling. At the end I mounted the legs using threaded inserts and bolts hidden inside the wooden mounting plates.
Hope you like it!
Woke up one morning to this gash on my monitor. I don’t have any cats and my dog is too small to jump onto the desk. Have shown this to a few people and no one can tell me what it is.
EDIT: there is NO plastic cover on the monitor. It’s a gash in the actual screen of the monitor. Look at second pic.
EDIT 2: Wow ok to answer some of the top questions and give more context...this is an external monitor that directly faces a large mirror. There is a window directly behind the monitor that also faces the mirror. Since I woke up to this gash, it must have been the early morning sun that hit the mirror at just the right angle to create a beam strong enough to burn the monitor. Seems crazy but looks like it's happened to others! I was super spooked and still am inclined to believe there was something supernatural going on!
Salami picante, nduja, pomidory suszone, ser lazur, mozarella i trochę parmigiano regiano.
