Lowkey wish the plot twist was for marinin

Tai Chan had all the girls interested in him except assun. He had his pick yet he always went for the ones that weren’t into him or reject him. I am not trying to say this is a bad thing because obviously you should go for the person you like but he had a chance at romance and chose not to go for it. While marinin try her best and put herself out there to get no reward. I think marinin deserves a second as well and hope she comes in as a transfer student at some point.

An analysis on Alex because I am obsessed

Spoilers ahead.

Alex might be the only character who could appear throughout an entire finale, reveal several important connections, and still leave us knowing absolutely nothing about him.

The biggest mystery is obviously his relationship with Armand. The finale confirms that Alex is not merely someone Armand manipulated for one plan, they clearly have an established relationship. Alex seems to trusts him and apparently knows much more about Armand’s world than we thought. But what exactly is Armand to him? His teacher? His maker? His sponsor? His handler? Something romantic? The show gave us just enough to prove that their connection matters without explaining how it began or why Alex remains so loyal to him.

Then there is the fact that Alex can now walk around during the day. I initially assumed Armand taught him how to do it, although I am beginning to wonder whether “taught” is the right word. Maybe Armand gave him stronger blood or provided some other kind of protection. Either way, Alex has developed abilities that a relatively new vampire should not possess so easily, which suggests that Armand has been personally training or strengthening him behind the scenes.

Alex also seems strangely familiar with Daniel. Their interaction does not feel like two people meeting for the first time. That raises another question: How long has Alex actually been involved with Armand and Daniel? We have been viewing him as Lestat’s quiet guitarist, but what if he has been moving between both groups?

And now he somehow knows Raglan too? Raglan has connections to the Talamasca and is already known for involving himself in other people’s business, so Alex knowing him opens an entirely different set of possibilities. Was Alex working with Raglan separately? Did Armand introduce them? Has the Talamasca been watching Alex? Or has Alex quietly become the link connecting Lestat’s band, Armand, Daniel and the Talamasca?

Then there are the matching bracelets. The show deliberately made sure we could see them, yet nobody explained what they represented or why Alex and Armand had them. Matching bracelets are far too specific to be meaningless. They could symbolize their relationship, a promise between them, sobriety, protection or even Armand’s ownership and control over Alex. The show stylist saying the bracelet represents balance still doesn’t explain why they have matching bracelets.

Despite all these suspicious connections, Alex remains one of the most unserious people on the show. He can survive vampire conspiracies, secretly work with Armand, know Daniel and Raglan, and apparently become a daylight-walking vampire but he could not score one single bowling point? Please be serious 😭I thought he was mute but it seems like he just choose not to speak when spoken to😭

Also let’s talk about Alex bowling name. Boo Radley, whose real name is Arthur Radley, is a mysterious neighbor in To Kill a Mockingbird. Scout and Jem initially believe he is frightening because of the rumors surrounding him, but he is later revealed to be gentle, observant, and protective. He even saves them when they are attacked. I think this could foreshadow Alex’s role next season. Right now, we may see Alex as suspicious or even evil, but he could eventually do something heroic. It makes me wonder if he might die trying to save someone possibly Armand. I really hope not, though.

This was supposed to be my Alex analysis, but the finale somehow left me with more questions than answers. Who is Alex to Armand or Lestat? What happened between them offscreen? What do those bracelets mean? And how has Alex quietly become connected to almost every important person in the story while pretending to be nothing more than the slightly awkward guitarist standing in the background? At this point, I hope to see more of him in season 2

AACOMAS 2028

Hi everyone! I’m interested in applying to DO medical schools for the entering class of 2028, but I can’t find the AACOMAS application for that cycle. Does anyone know when the 2027–2028 AACOMAS application is expected to open?
I’m also trying to decide whether applying to DO programs is the right choice for me. I really connect with the osteopathic philosophy and its focus on treating the whole person, but I’m wondering about the long-term pros and cons of earning a DO degree.
For current DO students, physicians, or applicants: Has being a DO affected your residency options, specialty choices, career opportunities, or how patients and other healthcare professionals view you? I would appreciate any honest advice or experiences.

Are we ever going to find out what the significance of this bracelet is

I know the stylist says it represents balance but why Armand gave it to Alex hasn’t been explained yet. We already know that Armand doesn’t need a copper bracelet to mind control people, he can do that without
the bracelet like the vampire Daniel was interviewing.

Anyways, has any one figured it out?

Why I believe we should keep an eye on Alex Slater

Spoilers for the recent episodes

Alex was introduced to us as the straight-edge guitarist: a vegan and recovering addict who seemed determined to live according to a strict set of principles. The moment I saw his dark curls, uwu expressive eyes, and overall vampire-like appearance, I had a feeling we would see more of him and possibly even see him become a vampire.

He was also the only band member who reacted naturally when Lestat revealed that he was a vampire. Alex did not want to continue with the band and was willing to give up fame because he believed Lestat was killing people. As the only person who seemed to have a real moral compass, he left the band and went to an AA meeting, where he unfortunately met Armand.

We still do not know what Armand said during that meeting to convince Alex to listen to him and return to the band. Later, we learn that Armand has been controlling Alex’s mind and using him as a spy. Slowly, Alex begins abandoning all the principles that once kept him grounded. He starts drinking, eating meat, and even wanting to become a vampire because this “god” he has met can supposedly take away all his problems.
What makes this even more tragic is what happens after his brother Larry’s death. The line, “And the vampire Alex, the muted center of a haunted reunion,” makes me wonder whether Alex has now chosen to become mute.

Then there is the line, “The vampire Alex abstains.” I believe this could refer to Alex abstaining from sexual relationships (I think that conversation was about the band members sexual preference), although it may also represent him returning to abstinence in a broader sense.
To me, this seems like Alex is trying to rebuild the walls and rules that once kept him sane.

I think Alex blames himself for his brother’s death. He may see Larry’s death as punishment for drinking, eating meat, and abandoning the principles that once defined him. He might believe that if he had remained sober, he would have noticed that something was wrong with Larry and could have prevented him from taking his own life.
I also believe part of Alex blames Lestat. Whether that belief comes from Armand’s manipulation or from Alex genuinely thinking Lestat pushed Larry over the edge, Alex may feel that Larry would still be alive if Lestat had never entered their lives.

However, I do NOT think the writers made Armand responsible for Larry’s death only so that the blame could be placed on Lestat. I believe this will become important later. If Alex survives this season, I can imagine him eventually discovering what Armand did and turning against him. In fact, that may be exactly why the writers made Armand kill Larry. The more loyal Alex becomes to Armand, the more devastating it will be when he discovers that the person he trusted and worshipped was responsible for destroying his brother. That is one of the most interesting parts of Alex and Armand’s relationship, and I hope the show explores it further.

Then there is Alex’s relationship with Gabrielle. At the moment, she does not seem to care much about him, but could that change if Lestat eventually abandons her?
Will she save Alex in the end? Will she try to recreate the relationship she has with Lestat through Alex, or will she finally attempt to become a better mother? There is so much potential there.

His relationship with the band is also interesting because Alex barely acts as though he wants to be there anymore and I don’t think they care enough to know that he isn’t acting like himself. He leaves practice immediately.
Honestly, I do not think all the other band members will survive the season.

Finally, there is his relationship with Lestat. I actually do not think Lestat will immediately hurt Alex once he gets his head sewn back on, but I am curious to see what happens when Lestat discovers that Alex has been working for Armand. Will he recognize that Alex was being controlled, or will he see him as a willing traitor?

There is so much the writers can do with Alex’s character. I know people have said that he was not important in the books, but the show has already proven that it is willing to expand and change certain characters.

I am excited to see what happens.
