Front crash sensor-Nissan Rogue

I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue. Minor front impact that deployed driver airbag and both seatbelt (dual) pretensioners.

I had myairbags.com repair the seatbelt PTs and reset crash data in the SRS module. I got a replacement airbag, as well. I bought an airbag sensor off eBay and replaced it (front crossbar, in the middle, ahead of the radiator, behind front grille). The sensor is in every way, exactly a match to the sensor I removed.
While removing the old sensor, one of the two bolt-posts broke off.

After reassembly, all airbag codes in the system show as 'PAST' except the front crash sensor, which shows 'CURRENT' as 'communication failure.'

Either I got a bad sensor off eBay, or my thought is that the sensor is seeking 'ground from the second post that is broken off, as well as seeking 'ground' from the intact post/nut.

What does the community believe may be my issue?

Additionally, I have been told that the original sensor may be ok to reuse, if undamaged from the impact as they do not 'blow out', just transmit data...?

HVB SOH percentage increase over time.

I wanted to update the forum on my 2023 XLT SR that was processed as a Ford buyback at 34,000 miles.

I had posted here originally on April 03, 2026.

I took possession of my truck Feb 01, 2026.

The battery was replaced under warranty 11.5 months ago (so ~ April 15th, 2025). This is when it was processed as a Ford buyback.

When I took possession, the HVB SOH was showing at 90.5%. I attributed this to sitting at a low state of charge, as a new battery pack, and then coming from Florida to Northern IL in the depths of winter.

Over time, the SOH crept up, 0.5% increments.
On April 03, 2026, the SOH, after several 100% AC charge session was showing at 96.5%.

Today, May 08, 2026, the SOH now shows at 98%.
I had assumed this would happen, as my Module variation at full 100% charge has always shown as 0.002v; which is about as perfect as one could expect.

I believe that I will see 99% this summer; or maybe 99.5% or possibly 100%.

I will update the forum, once that happens.

Just charged at my first Tesla supercharger with the magic dock. Pretty seamless and worked flawlessly.
This station even had the charger on the side, which I was able to just saddle right up next to it.

Also collected about 45 aluminum cans around the retaining pond, while I waited. I keep a bag just in case.

So far at charging stations over the past 15 weeks(maybe 24 total stops in my roadtripping), I have collected 47 lbs of cans. That is $30; or 2 charging sessions for free! Plus some extra stretching and outdoor activity.
