I'm playing my old friend's wedding. He gave me a playlist and I borrowed my friend's Numark controller and using Serato. He didn't tell me what order to play songs in, and we're both musicians so he generally trusts my understanding of how music works. I'm basically planning to just mix the ends of tracks? Nothing complicated... But like... how do I choose what to play, when lol??? It's a great mix of 70s soul, 80s groove and pop, millennial pop hits, some latin music, some contemporary pop. Like should I try to do a "latin section", "80s section", "2000s rap" section? or mix it up and surprise people with fun switchups? Are there any hard and fast wedding DJ rules I need to be mindful of? Help
I saw a cool video of someone drip ice-dyeing a shirt using a plastic bottle with a shirt hanging from the bottom. I'm wanting to tie-dye a bunch of shirts with limited time/energy and it seems like a good way to get a cool effect without actually being that good/ detail oriented at tie-dye.
Anyway, I'll be in Portland, OR for a few days or I could use the internet, what type of dyes do y'all recommend that are really vibrant/color fast? Also are there any particular techniques that I can do that will come out pretty cool without a lot of expertis?
Dyed this with a Michael's tie-dye kit and it came out kinda sick. The Michael's in my town only has Rit dye tho which I saw people hating on somewhere.
I made a really good love song about someone, and in the run-up to mixing, mastering, and releasing the music, I split up with her. Not a totally bad split but not a good one by any means. The songwriting is pretty personal, obviously about this person. I feel like, I would be sad not to release the music that I worked hard on, that is one of my favorite songs I've made in a while, but I also feel like the music is now cursed. I'm an unknown indie artist on a small indie label. Probably like 20 people including my new girlfriend will listen to this music. Is it worth it to release something that is a snapshot of a beautiful moment in time, or is it diplomatic to bury the music? What have you done in such situations.

My dad is a great rhythm guitarist, and my teenage daughter has taken an interest in the instrument. They’re a month into playing together and she’s been playing every day or two, and they play together once or twice a week. He’s never taught guitar before but they’re having fun.
He is a little unconfident in his teaching, and also a little bit of the mindset that she should just start learning on her own if it’s of interest to her.
I think she enjoys playing, and also it’s a way to connect with her Grampy, plus a zoomer teenager just naturally gravitates toward screen addiction. So I really am pushing their lesson time together.
It’s going pretty well but I wonder if you guys have any tips or feedback for how to consistently make the process fun and good.
One thing is that they have changed songs a few times, so they’re not really learning any one thing. It seems fine as it’s building a general familiarity, but I also wonder if they should stick to a song till it’s mastered.
But in general I just want to show my dad this thread and have him continue to be stoked about teaching, and have some neat ideas or mental framework moving forward.

When did Pal figure out how to switch into Cam’s body? Last we see him in HtN he asks harrow to make a skeleton hand for Cam. Does that skelly hand show up in Nona?
Harrow enters the Locked Tomb at the end of HtN and that’s how Alecto enters her body and becomes Nona? She goes through her dream into the river and then into the locked tomb? Then at the end of NtN that’s how she re-enters her body and Alecto returns to her body?
Gideon is being resuscitated at the end of HtN, when does she return to her body? How does God find her body? She shows up as Kyriona in NtN but the story of how she got resurrected is unclear to me.
Alecto is the resurrection beast of earth ? And also John’s cavalier? He created a body and put the Earth’s ghost into it and draws power from it?
Corona and Cam pick up Harrow and Pyrrah in the aftermath of HtN? How do John and Ianthe survive? Travel through the river ??
What’s up with the two hander in HtN? Is that where Gideon’s ghost is attached ?? Or Wake? When Wake is killed by Pyrrah can’t she return to the sword ?
