COTE's theme feels quite gritty and more realistic compared to the majority of the SCD genre, isn't that concerning - because it randomly gets an extra, weird, almost unrealistic addition upon Ayanokoji (who somehow makes other characters dumber upon them trying to go against him).

After unit 731, I would doubt that Japan would opt for something so silly as using power to create, through death, a perfect human.

Even then, something that concerning would obviously be reported to the United States of America, Japan's closest ally after World War II.

Now, here's where Greg Heffley comes in. In Diary of the Wimpy Kid, Greg is basically this robot-kid (who barely smiles and almost never finds something that makes him feel genuine joy). He basically thinks he's a very intelligent person, but he aint allat.

Now, what if Ayanokoji was just some abused kid of a politician? Think about it, Japanese work culture could genuinely make a dad go "I need my son to be a good successor" and force him to undergo "you need to become very good at almost everything" syndrome.

After getting into an argument with his dad, he deluded himself. This caused him to believe that he was from a place known as the White Room. It really was just a manifestation of his father's strictness, a metaphor for it. The White Room forced him to "kill" off his friends (emotionally detaching and cutting off ties with anyone he formed a bond with) for the sake of becoming better and focusing harder on hard work.

The theory here presents the idea that Ayanokoji Kiyotaka is a deluded child, alike to Greg Heffley, but instead of idiotic thoughts painted with "I'm smart" on it, its eloquent thoughts painted with "I'm perfect" on it.

You can even go further with this, as Ayanokoji is completely deluded and detached from the true reality, him going to school was his butler trying to make him normal again post-deludedness to make him normal. Upon arriving, he achieved that normalcy (as he was acting as a perfect actor).

COTE plays out normally (with certain things being very different from Ayanokoji's perspective).

Another thing that possibly can cement this idea is the fact that all the other characters get stupider in the anime upon trying to outsmart Kiyotaka. This is obviously Kiyotaka Ayanokoji's self-glaze in play.

Tldr; Arthur Louis manipulated me into post Cuckoji slander

I mean think about it, you know greg heff.? Like, they both have mental issues and they're both the narrators of their stories. They both constantly say some stupid ass corny ass "i am the manipulator" shit (or act like it in greg's case). They both have pretty much no ability to smile because they think they're like light yagami but smarter. Ayanokoji never actually plans or does anything, he just is really lucky and everything falls in place, and he goes "yup, that was me" and because his reasoning is actually insane, he genuinely nails it. The time that he swapped the card things? Horikita has bad eyesight and misread his name as her name (with him lying to her and multiple others who have bad eyesight), he narrated to the reader that it was all apart of his plan and he found an insane loophole. Godzillagamer15777 out, people aren't horses/pawns, they are humans.

Arthur Louis feats:

Direct Manipulation: Was able to completely change someone's worldview (to the point of making them completely delusional about their environment).

Cold reading: He was able to bet on two possible forms of what Ayanokoji could be based on a few conversations with him.

Information Gathering: He bypassed ANHS rules through his connection with Barack Obama. He also allowed for a way to communicate with Atsuomi Ayanokoji (and manipulate him into telling him about the White Room) through his connection to Obama

Intuition: Arthur usually has multiple monologues or thoughts which are only felt, rather than being from a traditional linear monologue.

Counterfactual Reasoning: Arthur is shown in the story to sometimes view one event over and over again to decide what he should do. His usage of Ayanokoji in one of these simulations (which he didn't know was there) is highlighted but not elaborated on.

Insight: Was able to guess that Obama stationed trained snipers outside of ANHS to respond to any of his movements.

Deception: Was able to trick Atsuomi into believing that he was Dylan Jones + that Dylan Jones was Obama's assistant.

Direct Manipulation: Arthur, by asking Obama to steady his resolve and tell him why he's kneeling to him, emotionally ties Obama to his (Obama's) own response to said question.

Processing + AQ: Arthur (pre-information overload trap) had grown accustomed to Epic Imprisonment's information-download glitch (where all information downloaded and adjacent things were instantly forced into the mind of the EI-person who downloaded (or adjacent thing) it.) was able to process all of 2014's internet traffic + most of the internet's data in 6 months after being forced to have it in his brain. His mind did break though and he developed a weird almost-BPD/DID like disorder from this. He's shown using his knowledge many times throughout the story (craniotomy, etc.)

Arthur orders Dylan to kill Ayanokoji's associates and kidnap Ayanokoji (Arthur would likely, then, perform surgery on Ayanokoji, sending him to the streets after performing a lobotomy).

All the class leaders either would have to help Ayanokoji (leading to their deaths) or they would never understood what happened. The higher ups of ANHS would be taken under control before this plan by the "This one" strategy (intimidation via killing important co-worker).

Pre-overload trap Arthur: Arthur cold-reads Ayanokoji and intuits the power that certain people have socially (creating a map of power-vacuums which are created by him not having knowledge on other classes and their important leaders).

Arthur kills everyone by manipulating Obama in delivering live-nuclear bombs to ANHS.

Mrs. Uro attempted to finalize another statement, but then, supposedly, fainted from likely exhaustion. The nearby surgeon requested Naloxone to be injected into her.

Investigation of this surgeon is requested.
