What do you think of Prof. Susan Woodward's take on the fall of Yugoslavia?

This is a long form video that its interesting (wouldnt watch it if you have a short attention span or no interest in yugo politics), although theres a myriad of nuanced reasons why Yugoslavia fell she goes into some issues that are less covered in general.

Pascal Lottaz is a Swiss professor that has his channel 'Neutrality Studies' thats quite popular, does interviews with academics about world and European politics from the view of neutrality.

The thumbnail is standard click-bait style video advertising, it is a lot more substantial and neutral in content lol.

Meat balls and green beans

Meatballs:

-500g mince

-2 tsp minced garlic

-salt and pepper, sweet paprika, vegeta, about 1 tbsp each. (Can add whatever spices you like tbh)

-3 tbsp plain flour

-1 egg

-1 tbsp oil

Combine all ingredients and shape into balls, place on oven tray, bake for 20-25min, 180* C.

Green beans:

-green beans, washed and cut

-carrots, washed and julienned.

-3 or 4 large cloves of garlic, chiped finely.

-3 tbsp olive oil.

First put oil and garlic to cook for a few mins, then add carrots and add about 1/4 cup of hot water, let the carrots cook for 10mins. Then add the green beans and mix, cook for a further 15mins and add salt (any spices you like) to taste.

[IWantOut] 34F customer service Australia -> Netherlands

Hi, I'd like to move from Australia and do something else with my life. Ive worked mostly in customer/client facing roles and within a detention centre for the past 8yrs. No qualifications gained except a Certiticate IV in Juvenile Justice (which probably means nothing in the Netherlands but I'll mention it anyway).

Without a 'skill' or qualifications (not ones that transfer out of australia anyway), what gaps in the ND job markets are there? What commonly needs filling as I understand they have worker shortages. I am able to get an EU passport so it shouldnt be an issue with visas etc.

Accomodation: a good friend around Rotterdam that has said I can live with them so I'd be fine for accommodation (not overly concerned about this) of course my own income is essential.

What are some jobs or career paths would be good in this instance? Learning dutch properly is something I would learn also.

Thanks.

Vucic, when asked if he recognises Kosovo as independent says he does. Is this real?

Im having trouble to find where this clip came from so I don't know how old this footage is, if anyone could confirm that would be awesome, but is this real? Could there be progress finally?

Blue light and red light therapy

I have been using light therapy with outbreaks. I just bought a simple device from Amazon (chinese product I think) as i didnt want to spend too much if it didnt do anything.

So whenever ive felt it coming on (in problem area, always repeats there, inner leg) I'll use the blue light on its 10min timer and then do a red light 'session'right after and do it daily. Usually I put a band-aid over the area when its 'active' so its contained and protected from rubbing on material etc and chaffing it and making it worse.

Not only has it helped in heal time and 'cycle' time, but the severity is significantly reduced. It doesnt even get to be a big, painful, infection as it would before. Ive been doing this now for around 4 months, I think the sinus under the skin has also started to reduce as I have slowed down the growth of the infection so the sinus has time to heal whereas before it would fill and become swollen, uncomfortable and painful.

Highly reccomend using light therapy to help in severity, especially in awkward spots :)

How would 2026 look if Bhuddism was a proselytizing religion and converted 80% of the world?

What if Bhuddists started missions and converted people like islam ans christianity does?

How would the world look different today?
