As the topic says the more weapons and armor the better in my opinion. I really love the way the Norgan region looks and think some amazing armor and weapons will come from there. I’m still amazed they actually are making the DLC and it seems much bigger than I ever expected so the hype is real.
I can’t remember who, but when they showed the game off in Paris a few days ago, they said the weapons evolve as you upgrade them. They kind of glossed it after they said it, but I am very curious what they mean and how that will work. Do weapons change appearance as they evolve? More powerful attacks? Maybe just stat increase? With all of the systems they already have in place such as Espers, Visions, etc, I’m very intrigued by evolving weapons.
In BE you had different versions of the same characters. I can’t remember how many just Rain had, but a lot of them had different great swords. With Resonance obviously just using the story from BE, and characters now getting individual weapons, I’m curious if each weapon for each character will have its own unique aesthetic or if it just fixed to one common look and just change stats. Example is does Rain’s great sword look the same throughout the whole game or does each great sword have a unique look? It’s a 2.5D game, but there were some great looking weapons in BE.
I really hope they add even more content than the first Dark Arisen and all the armors and weapons have this aesthetic. Capcom has been absolutely crushing it. Beyond how the new region looks, I hope they give the game the love it deserves. By what we have seen so far I think we are in for quite a treat. I don’t get pleasantly surprised easily and I’m never overly optimistic, but it’s very hard not to get excited and let the imagination run crazy with Dark Arisen 2.
I’m waiting to see a little more on Gears, and will for sure buy Forza Horizon 6. I also have my almost 100 percent Red Dead 2 save on Xbox, but did not buy Xbox this Gen. I am lighter on cash and everything I buy is digital, so I’m just curious if the Series S can handle a game like Gears E-Day. If anyone can answer it would be greatly appreciated.
I was really hoping the spear was real and it was. Then we heard there is a second secret weapon that you have to work for to get. I have no idea what it could be, but I’m hoping it’s a BFG of some kind or maybe a minigun since we didn’t get one in the main game that would also be crazy. A new firearm would be a great complement to the spear. What does everyone Hope you all hope it is?
Obviously we have one more team, and I have the game preordered because I loved the beta, but I find dropping $100 on the highest edition for the first year DLC characters is tough without knowing who they will be. Everyone has their favorite characters. I’m not getting almost any of mine so far outside of one or two in the main game. So seeing who the DLC characters will be for the first year before the game launches would be nice on the part of the devs.
I love the swords and flintlock pistols of the pirate age. I hope they bring most back then also add a good amount of new weapons especially since the weapons have bonuses and abilities. I’m sure they will and I’m excited for it.
If I’m being honest, I hope they add completely new weapons. It would be cool to find some amazing new swords and pistols that were not in the original. It would make exploration and stores feel new again. Plus I felt and least the models of most of them were underwhelming. Just a small feature that could add some nice incentives for exploring, plundering, and purchasing.
