I am not able to join the helpdesk as it is full and have some query about the BS department

I had done some coding and machine learning stuff before so I am interested in that and I also want to try for a startup. Is it worth it to take BS Chemistry. Also can i take optional subjects of other branches like of computer science

I am getting 8.2k rank in adv. I MIGHT get biotech as it closed at 8159 last year.

Is it worth it? Is it a chill branch? Do people actually prepare for tech and ACTUALLY get placed in tech in it? Do tech companies even allow them to sit? is there branch discrimination?

I have done quite a bit of coding and even learnt some machine learning stuff before I started jee prep. Right now I can either get cse in mnit jaipur. or I could go for electrical in iit ropar, iit jodhpur or iit mandi.
or I could go for civil in iit roorkee.

What should I do?

most people i have talked to are telling me to not to even think about roorkee and focus on better branch

I have given my first bitsat mock ​which is the ​mathongo test 17 of bitsat and I got around 290 marks

Can yall tell me how many marks needed for bits pilani cse and top 500 rank?

I am genuinely asking this.

I was doing a paper today and guessed in one of the questions as i had eliminated 2 and got it correct. Now when I think about it there have been a lot of questions in which i have been able to eliminate two options. So is it worth to guess in those?

In maths especially, I am able to do a lot of questions myself that i didnt do in the mock. Like I know its a general doubt but how do I improve especially with the crazy calculations in recent qafts i have to give time in rechecking my calculations and i am not able to attempt a lot of questions where can I cut on time to gain some speed?
