Certain days of the week for certain exercises? Rest day on Sunday and legs on Wednesday?
Yesterday was my back and biceps today. It was a lazy Sunday where I actually went to the gym twice: once in the morning for a 40-min session and then once again in the afternoon for another 40-min session
In the morning, I did back exercises like lat-pulldown and seated row. But I didn't do isolation bicep exercises. So in the afternoon, I went to a different gym and did some barbell curls and some dumbbell preacher curls.
However, this morning, I didn't feel sore in my biceps and I was wondering if I hit my biceps thoroughly enough. So today, I went to the gym for chest and triceps day, but I decided to also do some assisted chin-ups in order to try and fatigue my biceps some more.
Is this a good strategy? If you fail to fatigue a muscle group on a specific day, should you hit the same muscle again on the next day?

I just completed my workout. I really didn't want to do any cardio at the end, but I forced myself to do 12 minutes of stairmaster, which came out to 45 floors and 145 calories according to the machine.
Afterward, I went to Tim Hortons and got a big coffee and two donuts. The two donuts together were approximately 600 calories
This is the second time I've done this: I had two donuts post-workout a little while ago (maybe like two weeks ago?)
I'm 5'11" and I weigh 175 lbs right now. I swear I was 190 lbs back in December 2025.
What do you think? Are donuts a superfood?
I've been working out for years, but I've decided to start taking bodybuilding and strength training a lot more seriously this year. Let me know if you want to work out with me. You don't need a membership, since I can bring you to my gym as a guest.
If you're into fitness and exercise in other ways (like if you like running or doing yoga in the park) then I'm down to try that stuff too.
I'm in Middlesex County in NJ.
Let me know what plans you've got for this summer. If you're into the beach, let me know!
I know it's important to keep heels planted in the ground
But I see some people squatting with their feet on some decline surface so their toes are an inch lower than their heels
I always thought I should be squatting on an incline surface so my toes are elevated and my heels are more firmly against the ground. For example, I'll fold up and a yoga mat and have my toes on the mat while my heels are on the ground
