Me (26) and my wife (27) have a big difference in the time we wake up and it started to get annoying.

**TL;DR; : I want to wake up and do my morning routine, my wife wants me to go back to sleep.**.

I like to wake up early, around 6 or 7 in the morning. I wake up, make my breakfast, sit and watch the sun, then get up and read a book, watch a movie, or play video games. I like to maintain this routine, even on weekends. However, my wife believes that weekends should be used exclusively for resting the body(My job is a heavy work). She believes I have to wake up no sooner than 10 a.m., and she insists I don't get out of bed. She constantly gets annoyed when I insist on getting up and doing my morning routine, What's strange to me is that I don't make any noise, I don't do anything to disturb her sleep, but she insists that I have to go back to sleep.

I like lying next to her, but I won't go back to sleep after waking up. Even if I stay lying next to her, she insists I have to close my eyes and go back to sleep. I DON'T WANT TO.

That's it. Has anyone else been through this?

The worst type of discussion about a work of art of any kind (Literature, performance, media, film, painting, illustration, etc.) is the discussion of how the public receives it.

I could spend my whole life complaining about how Star Wars fans have an enormous difficulty discussing the political details of the series in analogy with real-life politics. But that wouldn't change ANYTHING. The way people receive a work of art is a result of the social, economic, cultural, and political context of the time. Some works of art take years to be appreciated simply because the context at the time of their release was not interested in the discussions proposed by the artist.

So please, let's stop discussing how people react to work x or work y, and let's just discuss the work itself.

I hate this argument that Frieren would kill Nezuko right away.

Demons in Frieren are DIFFERENT creatures from the demons in Demon Slayer. And I'm not talking about them being different anime, they are different beings within Japanese world.

The demon in Demon Slayer is an Oni, a creature culturally known as a corrupted human, Frieren wouldn't even notice mana on Nezuko; there's no way she could think Nezuko is a demon from her world (which are called Mazoku)

I'm starting to think Papyrus doesn't exist in Deltarune.

I don't know if I'm crazy, but I think Sans never says that the brother he's referring to is Papyrus. He always says "my brother." But in Undertale, he says his brother's name right away.

Madokaism (I know it's weird)

(I know it's weird, but I wanted to know if anyone feels the same way I do.)Ever since I first watched Madoka Magica in 2013, I decided that Madoka would be my goddess. I was 13 years old at the time and already considered myself an atheist, but I also believed that praying for someone, thanking someone, believing that there is someone there wishing you well, by your side all the time, It's something that's good for the human mind. So I decided that Madoka would be that for me. Every day when I wake up I thank Madoka for not leaving me alone.Every day when I go to sleep I thank Madoka for not leaving me alone. In all my difficulties, I ask Madoka to give me hope, the same hope that saved her and that saves all magical girls. Perhaps I am not worthy, but still I pray for hope, so that with each problem I face, Madoka will help me by giving me hope.

Tell me about a work that did everything perfectly, but completely failed in the way it told the story.

For me, it's Star Wars. I love all the discussion the film brings up, but the way it's told makes it difficult for me to take anything seriously.

Average writing, but you personally absolutely love:

For me, it's definitely Demon Slayer. Even though the narrative writing isn't great, I absolutely love how charismatic and cool each character is. All the characters are quite unique in their personalities, fighting style, and clothing.

Subaru is a protagonist with so much plot armor.

He's literally just a human with no powers, he's not even intelligent, but for some reason, out of nowhere, he knows exactly what to do, how to do it, and when to do it. That son of a bitch is cheating, he should have died at least 20 times >:(

[New Gear] Results of my new lens (EF 50mm) with my Canon R10

After much research into which lens would be ideal to replace the kit lens (RF 18-45) I decided on the EF50mm

I'm loving the results. Any tips on how to get the most out of this lens?

I don't know if it's possible to say one is worse than the other, but if you had to choose which one you would say is worse?

The only certainty I have from this trailer is that the new movie is going to be just as confusing, if not more so, than the previous one.

Vinland Saga is simply the anime with the best moral lesson I know. Its philosophy of peace and how it addresses human conflict and its complexities is divine to me.

The Shield Hero is simply grotesque. The author's attempt to make us believe that it's okay for Raphtalia to be a SLAVE and that she enjoys being Naofumi's SLAVE is stomach-churning. Not to mention, let's be honest, it's a misogynistic incel fantasy Made for incels to feel justified and to find pleasure in the suffering of a woman so caricatured as evil that it's difficult to even see anything in her character beyond evilness.
