Reason why almost every Champion can be played Bot lane?

What changed in this current season, so almost every champion can be played Bot lane?

I am witnessing the era of 'pick whatever the fuck you want' in this lane by both roles ADC and Support. I am seriously talking about Diamond elo, which I am playing in. It is very interesting, because at the start of the year everything seemed traditional.

I played Support from time to time and mostly played Nami, Braum and Nautilus from time to time, until I saw people picking whatever they want. Tanks as ADCs, Mages as ADCs, Support fighters, Support Battle Mages and so on. I just started experimenting with Sett and Camille Support and it's straight up better than any other classical Support champion unless maybe Challenger elo.

I play Sett and go lvl 1 fight to death or just lvl 2 flash + all in with 90% wasted summoner spells or kill. I can choose to appear Top lane as Camille during the first wave and objectively make the enemy Top laner not existing for the first 15 minutes. It's strange, because catchup XP is so much to the point where my Mage ADC is level 7 and I am level 4 roaming around the map, while both bot laners are level 6. The exact moment I return on my lane I am level 6 in the next minute and I find absolutely no point of sitting bot, but be second Jungler without responsibilities for anything.

I created methodology for myself for winning games - Alert my bot laner that he isn't seeing me after level 3 unless we kill them on respawn everytime they come bot. If he is smart, he picks a Mage and I am creating so much chaos to the point enemy reports me for 'sabotaging' my team. This strat doesn't work everytime and I am aware, but I am no longer playing Nami until this is fixed and taken care off.

What are your thoughts on that topic ?

Top Lane Made Me Quit Top Lane

Does anyone else feel like top lane has become completely fucking degenerate?

Diamond hardcore top laner here, and every single game is one of three things. There's barely any middle ground left.

1. I get the counterpick
Enemy first-picks, I lock in something that makes his lane completely unplayable. 20 minutes later he's 5k gold down, 40 CS behind, probably typing "top diff" in all chat while I'm just farming him. If my team's winning, great, I'm basically a free win condition. If my team's losing, I spend the rest of the game trying to keep the Titanic afloat with a spoon. Sometimes I actually pull it off. Once every 10 games, maybe.

2. I get counterpicked
Now I'm living in a horror movie. Enemy has 57 CS and 2 kills. I have 5 CS and a strong desire to alt+F4. Can't touch the wave, can't walk up, can't trade, if I breathe in the wrong direction I lose half my HP.

And then the jungler notices.

"Oh, this guy's already having a miserable time. Let's make sure he never gets to actually play the game." Gank. 30 seconds later, another gank. 30 seconds later: "hey bro, it's me again." Meanwhile my jungler's off farming his third camp and bot lane is happily hiding under tower. No counter-invade, no dive, no pressure anywhere else on the map. Nothing. I'm just sitting top getting slowly harvested for LP.

3. I blind pick something actually good
I lock Renekton, Ambessa, something that can reasonably blind into stuff. Enemy locks Vayne. Or Cassio. Or Vladimir. Or whatever ranged/AP abomination happens to be broken in top lane this patch. And now I spend 20 minutes sweating my ass off just to go even. Against Vayne/Vladimir. Congratulations, BIG SUCCESS ! (They will wipe the floor with my team, I will murder one, maybe maximum two)

So, I switched to Support and honestly, the difference is fucking ridiculous. I roam, I ward, I fight around the map, I can actually make plays, influence other lanes. If my ADC is getting gapped I can just leave and go do something useful instead of being chained to a lane where I'm getting hard countered for 20 straight minutes. And most importantly — nobody is locking Vayne/Varus into me. I genuinely don't remember the last time League felt this chill.

So I don't think top lane itself became unplayable exactly. I think the bad top lane experience just doubled down. Get the counterpick, you completely shit on someone. Get counterpicked, you spend 20 minutes barely being allowed to exist. Blind pick, there's always some guy waiting to pull Vayne/Cassio/Vlad and turn your lane into a hostage situation.

So yeah. Maybe top lane isn't objectively worse in every stat. But the gap between "good game" and "most miserable experience imaginable" has gotten way, way bigger.

And after playing support for a while, I realized — I don't miss top lane. I miss being useful in top lane. I can still pick Sett against enemy Nautilius and make his life miserable or actually any other fighter. Support is no longer support if you know what I mean ! Support is nowadays Xerath support along with his Syndra APC on bot and both are in contest on who will be much more of abomination at the end of the game.

Is it luck or Mordekaiser in the few patches is monstrocity ?

The title says it enough, however here is my story:

I am Diamond player, who likes to play blind pick champions as well as having some pick pocket picks for certain situations where I know I am taking over the whole game. Example of that is Renekton , Ambessa and Jax. I am playing them very well, while I use Mundo and Illaoi (1M points on her) whenever the enemy comp literally invites these champions to be picked.

A few days ago tho I saw this abomination's winrate and pickrate in Emerald+. It is 53% winrate with something between 5 and 8% pickrate and I decided to give him a try and you can't imagine how broken he is in my eyes. Extremely easy kit to use, Isolating and murdering the most important enemy player isn't that hard when you are playing Diamond+ , simply because teammates already try to do that for you.

Also I truly believe he is much more versatile than other juggernauts, because he can just ult support, erase him from the game and then appear with 90% HP in 5v4 situation for your team, BIG SUCCESS ! I also pulled a sneaky ult on the enemy jungler and that way we won elder dragon and won the game. BIG SUCCESS !

I always struggled to lane versus him, except a few counterpicks like Olaf, but now games are somehow so chaotic to the point he wins lane and takes over the whole game, which was hard for this champion some time ago.

What happened with him and why suddenly he became like Premium Illaoi version ?

A few statistics and some more.

Season 4 vet here — I think blind-pick top just quietly stopped working this season

Playing since Season 4. Every season I end up somewhere between D4 and D1, so I get both the coinflip low games and the sweaty high ones where everyone has something to prove and nothing to lose. After nine seasons you develop a sixth sense for when something's off, and this season my sense is going off like a smoke alarm.

For most of League's history you could tell Riot was actively babysitting top lane balance. Counters existed, blind picks were safe, scaling champs scaled, cheese picks were there purely to ruin your evening. Normal, functioning ecosystem. This season something changed — maybe the lane quests, maybe something they slipped into a patch and hoped nobody would notice — and the Emerald+ stats kind of back me up:

1. The usual blind picks are underperforming.
Renekton, Ambessa, Gnar and Aatrox are all sitting under 50% winrate, and not just for one patch — it's been like this for a while. They still have decent pickrates, so people are clearly still picking them and then quietly losing lane and pretending it was jungle diff. Ornn's fine at 51.5%, good for him, but one working blind pick doesn't really carry for the other four sitting in the corner eating dirt.

2. Ranged top is way more than "niche" now.
Quinn's at 53% (1% pickrate), Anivia — in top lane, in this economy — has basically the same numbers, Teemo's at 51.5%, Kayle's holding 52%, GP's at 51% with 5.5% pickrate. These are supposed to be the picks you pull out for specific matchups, not a whole lifestyle. When basically all of them have positive winrates, they're not situational anymore — they just work, and melee top is expected to sit there and take it.

3. Cheese picks have winrates that don't match what they're supposed to be.
Illaoi 52%, Morde 52% at 7% pickrate, Garen 51% at 7%. Cheese picks should have high winrates — that's the whole deal, you eat a low pickrate and easy counters in exchange for ambushing people. But a high winrate and a 7% pickrate kind of breaks the contract. At that point Garen isn't a cheese pick, he's just a good champion you can play with one hand while the other one's in a bag of chips.

I know raw stats aren't the full story and pickrate/winrate is messy, so grain of salt and all that. But blind picks are supposed to hover around 50%, and cheese is supposed to be a gamble, not a steady paycheck.

Here's the part that actually made me start typing this instead of queuing: I main Illaoi, Renekton, Jax, Mundo and Ambessa. This season I genuinely struggle to lane on Ambessa and Renekton — the "just play the game" picks that are supposed to be safe and reliable. Meanwhile I'm out here blind-picking Illaoi or Morde into my own counters and beating them anyway. When the tentacle lady is a safer blind pick than Renekton, something is deeply broken in the timeline.

So is it the lane quests? Item changes? Am I just cracking after nine seasons? Genuinely curious if other old-head top laners are feeling the same shift or if I need to log off and go outside.

TL;DR: Blind picks are under 50%, ranged tops moved in and aren't leaving, cheese picks are pulling steady salaries, and I'm blind-picking Illaoi into my counters and winning. Feels cursed. Is it just me?

What do you think is the reason for Dinosaurs being unbalanced ?

As a few months old players, I started wondering if decisions made by developers are good.
Currently I do not have any main and I am lucky to observe every dinosaur without having to stick to a single character, therefore I have opinions on a few dinos.

Survival mode - Nerfs pretty much came BECAUSE of this mode. People no longer can group reliably without someone being straight up murdered because of cheesy ambush. Herbivores thrive in this mode, because as I said, grouping isn't viable and from what I see, Carnivore apexes are played much less, because they are killed while in juve/adolescent stage and if they get to adult they still will die to other apexes in one to one combat. Small playables are much better and people will happily choose Conc instead of Titan for example.

What does that mean ? Any Herbivore there will be omega strong. Most of herbivores can beat the sh*t out of their carnivore slot counterpart, some even higher. There is no way good trike loses against any Rex or Titan in fair duel, simply because trike can absolutely facetank them. Barsboldia can hold his own against two 5 slots, while Iggy and Stego are absolute units in this mode.

Normal modes:
Herbivores are made to be so useless, because of the megapacking and grouping, so don't try it please.

Community Server feedback and finding the right server

I am currently trying to find good community servers, which have the following features:

* Rewarding growth, depending on dinosaur slot. For example 1 slots can growth in an hour, while titan mod dinos can go up to 4-6 hours

* Decent rules permitting any kinds of group exploitation

* Admins with less to no favouritism

* Having some modded dinos for additional gameplay mechanics

I stumbled upon a lot of servers and most of them DO NOT have all these features...For example PT Semi-Realism is very good until you realize that you can grow titans in 30 minutes, Nat Hist is extremely good server with good admins and some modded dinos included, as well as rewarding growth, however there are no waystones and I can't really play with my friends if we are two Apatosauros for example. We will either get bored until we meet each other or get eaten.

Currently i am playing on Crimson Realism servers and they truly meet all my expectations. Dying strips off a third of your growth which means there won't be adults only. There are a lot of modded dinos but I heard that they are rebalanced around and I feel that some of them truly are giga broken *DEINO COUGH COUGH. I also read a lot about this server having a lot of favouritism. I played as adult Apatosaurus and two Titans chased me down and f*cked me up. I decided to try enter the water, covering myself just enough before the model starts swimming, so I can fight them off without getting flanked from all sides and then guess what ?

*ADMIN: APA OFF WATER. It counts as body denial !

*Me: Bro, I don't wanna die and I am using my surroundings, if they are scared of getting hit by the tail, its their problem

*ADMIN: Please, get off the water, thank you !

I left the water and I died. I truly wanted to make their hunt more miserable and challenging, but nah, certain people shouldn't hold power in any way.

Don't get bamboozled. There is one more behind them all.

This screenshot put me in my biggest cortisol situation ever.

Hi guys, month ago I bought this masterpiece and as a long-time gamer I managed to adapt easily to the game by understanding how PvP works and roughly what beats what. However, the issue is that me and my friends can't really find a way to deal with Rex and Titan, I kind of believe that they might be *cough cough slightly(extremely) overpowered.

Most of the Apex and Sub Apex dinosaurs are killable just by flanking, maneuvering them and tail riding.

Most of the fights who should be winnable, end up in disaster. I will provide you with example:

Me - Allosaurus(Adolelescent), Conc adult and Laten decided to jump on Adult Rex in flat terrain. We played it perfectly and managed to get him to 50% HP without getting anyone hit at all until I ended up in front of his jaw by mistake and he 2 SHOTTED me. After that my guys told me that they just ran away as he managed to hug a wall and they didn't want to bother losing the group connection.

Most us are good at PvP and we rarely do mistakes like this one, but it happens and these two Apexes are so hard to be killed and it is extremely risky unless we are like 3 Spinos rushing 1 Rex, however that is for another discussion.

Any general tips and tricks especially against Rex and Titan ? How do you deal with Titan's mobility and stamina ? Also do you believe they are nerf deserving or not ?
