Too late to repot?

Ik the pictures suck, but one of them is starting to grow roots through the drainage holes and they're still in their shitty drainage soil they were in in Walmart

Experience with Garden Dominion?

I need cheap perlite cuz I'm broke and this seems like a good deal.

Care questions from a beginner

  1. I'm soft repotting it into a 4.5 inch pot. Should I use a plastic or fabric pot?

  2. I plan on buying lfsm and planting it in just that. Can I use pure peat since I already have that on hand?

  3. How much light do they actually need? I give them about 6 hours of direct morning sun, then they're put into the shade (200-300ppfd) for the rest of the day. Soon I'm getting my plant a grow light.

  4. When it grows pitchers, can I give them bloodworms?

Swords for playing with my friends

I'm looking for swords that are durable and completely blunt. Any kind of would work, but I'd like to stay around $150 or less.

Edit: I'll be starting my foam sword collection soon

Good deal?

I plan on propagating a shit ton of flytraps and I need to repot my current ones. I was hoping to use the 4-inch pots for the smaller ones and 5-6 inches for mature plants.

Why is one growing so much faster than the other?

I got them both at the same time and one is growing like crazy and the other is a lot slower. I try to make sure they both get the same amount of sun

Putting Peat into a bigger pot soon

Peat's pot is too small and I want to give him a bigger pot. I was gonna soft repot him into 50/50 LFSM/perlite. How big should his new pot be?

Update on giving it full sun

I hope there are no signs of stress or anything. I've been half-ass acclimating it, so lmk if I should give it less light a day

Carnivorous Plants Hub bloodworm kit

(We ordered under my mom's account because I didn't have a bank account yet)

It came in a day early and there are a lot of bloodworms. I highly recommend

Is my nepenthes getting enough light here?

The full, direct light my flytraps are getting for perspective

What's with the baby traps?

For a while I just assumed that was all new growth that died when my cat knocked the plant over

u/HammedBurngur — 19 days ago

I impulse bought it

-When should I repot it? It seems to be in sphagnum moss

-Can I acclimate it in my east-facing bathroom window or big-ass west-facing window?

-When the time comes, what pot size does it need?

Good deal?

What looks like baby sarracenias and an unknown nepenthes cultivar for $15 each. They also sold sphagnum moss for future repotting

Relatively cheap nepenthes

I want a relatively cheap nepenthes for my bathroom window. Leaning towards ventricosa, but any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Looking to stay under $30, will grow from seed if needed

Repotting these guys soon

Got these from Walmart a couple months ago and I'm finally repotting them in a few days

-Is silica sand necessary? I was gonna use 50/50 sphagnum moss and perlite

-Are they too small to divide?

-Can I divide them since I'm repotting them anyway, or do I have to wait until after dormancy?

u/HammedBurngur — 21 days ago

Deformed leaf?

Is the shitty Walmart substrate finally getting to them? Did a strong bug try to escape? Pests?

Overfeeding

Nowadays, my flytraps catch so many flies outside that all the traps are closed more often than not. Is this kind of overfeeding gonna be bad? I hear overfeeding in general isn't a good idea
