iPhone 18 Pro Max order Status

I, like many others, have run into the issue where I have received a notification that I need to change my payment method for my order placed last month. For reference my estimated ship date is 10/16. For others that have had this happen, was this an indication they are actually ready to ship now and I may receive my tracking early?

IT’S HERE!

Khaki Quartz in 38mm from Jomashop. I’m actually impressed with their service. It was “In stock” but not under the “get it fast” category so I figured it’d be slow to arrive. Only took 4 days! This watch is COMFY! The nato strap these come with is awesome!

How much crown play/wobble is normal? (1926)

For all my Tudor owners and more specifically 1926 owners, when the crow is unscrewed into the neutral, winding position, are you able to “wiggle” or “wobble” the crown back and forth? Not like a lot but enough it’s noticeable? I’m assuming it’s due to the way the case tube/stem assembly is designed for the screw down function to actually work. The reason I ask, my Longines is ROCK solid with no play, but my Seikos do have a minor mount of play. My new Tudor 1926 seems to have the most but I know it’s not apples to apples. I would love to hear from you guys or even see some examples if you’re willing to share. To be clear this is still the best feeling screw down crown on a watch I own and there is no play when the crow is screwed down so I just want to make sure my stem isn’t failing where it connects to the crown.

First Hamilton (whenever it shows up)

Joma had way too good of a sale on these and I was interested in a quartz grab a go watch that I didn’t mind getting banged up at work, doing yard work/house projects etc. I know Joma has some mixed experiences and this piece is marked as “in stock” but didn’t show an estimated delivery so I’m assuming they are awaiting a shipment so fingers crossed I get it this year or my order isn’t cancelled LOL.

Khaki Quartz

First off, not my picture (thanks Teddy lol). I’m considering a khaki quartz as a work/beater watch. The majority of my collection is automatics and it’s nice to have a grab and go piece that’s just always running. Joma has these for $300 right now and seems too good to pass up!

[SNK805] Seiko Saturday!

This thing doesn’t get nearly enough wrist time. I forgot how much I appreciate this watch and its simplicity. What’s everyone wearing today?

Enjoying a nice walk with the 1925

Feeling bad for the rest of my collection as I can’t seem to take this thing off my wrist.

SOTC - regular wears!

Finally got a new watch box so I figured I share my SOTC for my regular wears. My other box has most of my inherited pieces from grandparents and other relatives. Let me know if anyone wants to see those, as there’s a couple unique vintage seikos!

1926 - Power Reserve Question -UPDATE!

First off, huge thank you to the team over at Burdeen’s in Chicago. Nick is awesome to work with and goes above and beyond for customer service. As mentioned in my other post, I bought my 1926 Friday and the watch was not fully found. I wore it all day Friday and Saturday, most of the day Sunday, then to work Monday and Tuesday (desk job). Upon going to put it in today for work, I noticed the watch stopped at 1am this morning. I reached back out to the AD because none of my Seikos or Longines behave like this with regular wear even if not fully wound. Nick talked with their Tudor expert, their watch maker, and their store manager and confirmed that this is a normal occurrence with the 1926 as it uses the modified SW200-1. It is recommended by Tudor that you fully wind the watch h before starting to wear as the rotor is not overly heavy and take significantly motion to build up the reserve than it does to maintain from a full wind. Feels like something I should have known but all my other autos are either seiko 4r or 6r movements or my Longines L888.4. Crisis and anxiety averted 🫡

Day 4 and still can’t stop smiling!

This thing basically hasn’t left my wrist since Friday. Is it a scratch magnet, yes but who cares! The memories I’ve made wearing it already, I wouldn’t trade for anything.

30th birthday was awesome!

The wife took me to Chicago for my 30th! Ended up coming home with a watch I’ve been after since 2021! She also came home with her first Seiko Presage cocktail time.

1926 Sizing

First of all, sorry I posted about this already yesterday but was actually able to try one on today. This is the 39mm and I feel like it actually fits pretty good! I feel like I COULD do a 36 but that may make it look a little on the dressier side and I plan to wear this basically all the time casually or dressed up. I definitely wouldn’t go bigger. 7ish inch wrist for what it’s worth! Any thoughts? Do I pull the trigger for my birthday next week? Lol

[SKX009] Ole Reliable

I definitely don’t wear this as much as I should but I broke it out of the watch box today! As many times as I’ve thought about selling it, I just don’t think I can.

[SSC965] Minty Fresh!

Absolutely in love with this speedtimer! I think I’ll keep it on a bracelet most of the time, but what would be some good color/strap style options?

[SSC965] New Watch Alert 🚨

I’ve been wanting a speed timer for a while now and immediately when this was released I knew it was the one! My birthdays in a few weeks and this just so happened to be on sale so I had to! Don’t mind the plastic on it, I still have to size it tonight. 😂
