ENFJ gf is loving but talks about herself 90% of time

I'm new to MBTI personality types, but from what I've read online, ENFJs seem to be one of the most caring personality types out there. Even though my girlfriend shares words of affirmation, spends time with me, initiates conversations, and is warm and loving in general, it is very rare for her to ask me questions, even basic ones, such as how my day was or what I did, or to talk about me. She always seems to shift the conversation back to herself.

I don't understand whether she is doing this intentionally or unintentionally or whether it is a sign of showing her vulnerable side that I'm misinterpreting lol. But I still wonder if this could be because she loves herself a bit too much, or could it be some sort of manipulation? While attention is not critical for me (I'm INFJ and I don't need for a spotlight to be on me at all), this doesn't concern me as much, but does raises some questions, since I realize I may not be fully understanding my gf's personality.

High risk of sexless marriage

My girlfriend and I have been discussing different aspects of married life so we can plan for the future. Before we even talked about intimacy, I already knew that she has severe PMS and has been taking SSRIs for almost a year, even though her anxiety and depression stopped over a year ago and she has been emotionally stable since then.

This combination concerns me because severe PMS can already reduce libido, and SSRIs are also well known for causing sexual dysfunction. On top of that, she grew up in a very strict Catholic environment where sex was often portrayed negatively, which may have influenced her attitude toward intimacy. Although we both clearly agreed that a healthy marriage should include a sexual relationship (unless serious health issues make that impossible), I have started to worry about whether this could become a long-term problem.

At first, I didn't think much about it after our initial conversation. However, over time I've begun noticing an increasing disinterest in or even disgust toward sex. It comes up unexpectedly in everyday conversations, while watching movies, etc. I don't want to become someone who constantly brings up the topic, but I also worry that she might be afraid to tell me if she actually disinterested in sex and naturally has a very low libido, which is most likely the case.

I'm not looking to pressure her or make her feel guilty. I simply want us to have an honest understanding of each other's expectations before marriage, since sexual compatibility is an important part of a healthy relationship for me. What would be the best way to approach this? Would premarital counseling be helpful? Should we continue having open conversations about it, or is there another approach that would be more constructive?

No one is responding to me after I graduated

I've been emailing my professors for letters of recommendation for a few weeks now and haven't received any responses. I even reached out to my academic advisor, hoping they might be willing to write one, but still no reply.

I was wondering whether SNHU email accounts get deactivated after a certain period, or if it's simply because many faculty and staff are away for the summer?

I understand that some instructors and advisors may not feel comfortable writing letters of recommendation, especially for online students. Not sure what the issue is, but it's a bit discouraging when you've emailed nearly 10 people and not a single person has responded, even just to decline.

Was this a legitimate confession?

Earlier this year I went to confession, and it was not a typical confession where a person names their sins and the priest then reads the prayer of absolution over them. Instead, the priest was the one speaking. He mostly guided me on how to repent, pray, and fast while I stood leaning against the Gospel book with the epitrachelion placed over my head. When he finished speaking, he proceeded directly to the prayer of absolution without giving me an opportunity to name my sins out loud.

When I reflected on it a few days later, I assumed the priest had simply forgotten to let me confess my sins because there were many people waiting in line that day. However, the exact same thing happened again a few weeks later, and I realized it must have been intentional. I plan to go to confession again this week, and I am concerned that it may happen once more.

From what I understand, this would not count as a proper confession because I was not given the opportunity to verbally confess my sins. What do you think? Should I talk with my priest about it? Or confess to a different priest?

Who should I list as references if I have little to no professional experience?

I'm still young, so I don't have much professional experience. From what I've seen online, it's usually not a good idea to list professors as references, especially for someone like me who studies full-time online, since they only know me through the papers and assignments I submit.

I can only think of one person who mentored me and actually knows a bit about me, my skills, and my competencies. Who should I put down for the other two references?

How to be Orthodox Christian and not go crazy?

  • Struggling with sin, knowing that every sin you commit affects you mentally, whether you want it to or not. At the same time, you know that you can never be completely pure and sinless.
  • Constantly questioning your repentance and whether it was genuine, especially when the same sin returns.
  • Being uncertain about your salvation driving to pursue perfection through faith and works. Yet perfection is realistically unattainable, which results in mentally exhausting cycle.
  • Struggling with fasting, leading to stress, increased irritability, and, consequently, further sin.
  • Being criticized by other Christian denominations, atheists, and agnostics, and feeling compelled to engage in arguments to defend your faith.
  • Keeping up with increasingly unrealistic expectations surrounding Christian marriage, particularly among younger generations such as Gen Z.
  • Experiencing a lack of community and support, whether as a new believer, someone living in a remote area, or simply because there are very few fellow Christians around you.
  • Witnessing everything demonic that is going on in this fallen world.
  • Personal life struggles, death of loved ones, making ends meet, etc.

These things (just to name a few) and many others affect us mentally on daily basis. Yes, we are called to deny ourselves, but how long can a person live under such constant pressure? Sometimes it feels as though there is no peace in such life. Even when you know it is the truth, and it is what your truly soul desires, there are moments when you feel as though you are breaking under the weight of it all. Most people are nowhere near close to the holiness of St. Seraphim Rose, St. Paisios or St. Mary of Egypt, and therefore cannot obtain the same peace in their souls. Does this mean we ought to suffer through it all until our last breath? But how much mental endurance one must have to live such life and not be crushed?

It is weird espeically because I was doing good before - plenty of intros, matches or likes. Seems like there is something wrong with my profile. I updated it several times, made sure it is not private and increased distance in filters. What could be wrong?
