Just curious if anyone had a chance to revisit it yet. The initial state of the game didn’t run well on my OLED deck. It had weird stutters when I moved the camera around.

Hi everyone! I started playing Arkham City, but large textures take a moment to load which causes everything to look blurry and lumpy before it loads in. Is there a way I can fix this? I’m using Experimental Proton and am playing on my OLED.

I was able to play Asylum and Knight without issue so I’m hoping there’s a fix to this problem! Thanks!

I looked up the official ages for characters and all of them made sense to me except for Ochette. I really thought she was the youngest, like 14 or 15. I imagined her as a sort of little sister to Agnea who is canonically 18. I’m guessing that means that Ochette’s animal companion has a longer life span than their real-life animal counterparts too.

The only other one that somewhat surprised me was Castti being 29. She seems more like a 32-36 year old to me.

Just curious how much of a difference it makes, especially since I kind of want to get the upgraded movement as well. Thanks for your help!

I’m almost 40 hours into the game and only just unlocked the Grand Terry. Being able to customize it, then unlock a whole new portion of the map was amazing. And the first battle with the new music hyped me up so much. It’s a great surprise for me and I look forward to exploring some of those little islands once I’m at a higher overall level. How big is the ocean map, I wonder?

I’m not too worried about stats and have been largely ignoring the jobs for most of my playthrough. But these are what I’m thinking personally based off of characteristics and traits

Ochette: thief - it seems to fit her skill set well considering how fast she is and the potential for stealing food here and there…

Casti : conjurer - it fits in with her supportive and pragmatic personality traits to use some of her magic and apothecary skills for helping others in battle rather than becoming stronger herself

Temenos: scholar - Temenos is a detective and has already studied religion quite a bit. His curiosity and skill with magic probably help him fit in with scholars pretty well.

Osvald: Arcanist - I feel like Osvald would go to great depths to increase his magic power, especially given his revenge quest. This one thematically feels right to me.

Partitio: inventor - being a merchant and helping others profit off of new inventions and technology, this one makes sense to me in a way that doesn’t with the other characters.

Agnea: apothecary - this one was a toss up between apothecary and merchant for me. But for whatever reason I can see Agnea patching people up more than I can see her selling things. After all, she cooked for her family back home, maybe she also helped bandage her sister after playing too rough when they were kids.

Throné: dancer - I love the idea of Agnea teaching Throné how to dance. Similar to her fighting skills but without the blood which feels right for her considering everything she’s been through.

Hikari: armsmaster- this one is also straight forward. Hikari is such a skilled warrior and learns from everyone he meets so I can see him doing this

In Legacy, we get quite a bit of elements from the Old Republic, Prequels, Original Trilogy, and New Jedi Order all blended together to make a perfect cocktail of a new era while still keeping the Star Wars feel. I especially like how Darth Krayt communicates with ancient Sith, lived during the prequel era, and had an appearance in the Fate of the Jedi series. Star Wars Legacy really showcases how fun it is when the EU comes together in a meaningful way. It’s also cool to see visual representations of the Vong and the way they really impacted the galaxy.

I hope the second omnibus is announced soon!

Life Can Be Hard is probably my favorite song after my initial listen! It really gives me La La Land vibes, particularly City of Stars. Is it just me?

I’m having trouble bridging the fate of the Jedi series with Legacy. It feels strange to me that Roan Fel would 1. Team up with Sith, 2. Declare war on galactic alliance, and 3. Not be killed by his imperial knights who were supposed to ensure he didn’t go against the light side. Would teaming with Sith not count as straying from the light?

I know Roan Fel didn’t want any Jedi to directly die as a result of his actions, but how could he really think that would be the case when he’s working with Sith? Is he stupid?

I’m a little rusty but am reading all the KotoR and Old Republic comics right now and am trying to remember. I thought Revan and Malik turned to the dark side over time during the Mandalorian Wars, then it was retconned that they had met Vitiate and that their realization of a greater threat ended up being another factor in their eventual fall rather than a complete retcon

I also like that Vitiate/Valkorian and Revan are both very similar since both went beyond the traditional Sith vs Jedi dogma and found something new.

But a lot of interpretations online seem to suggest that Vitiate snapped his fingers and turned Revan and Malik evil. This feels much less interesting to me.

I know the SWTOR mmo and book portrayed Revan as a prisoner for 300 years, but he was also ironically imprisoning Vitiate by sapping some of his power. So again, there’s that mirror between them.

In terms of strict current canon (which is ironically not canon anyway) what actually happened? Does the canon leave room for interpretation or is my view of the thing basically fan fiction at this point?

I have two automatics, an Orient and a Timex. Both will gain about 15 seconds a day, more or less. It kind of annoys me, so I usually correct the time every morning. Is this typical for automatic watches in this price range? And if so, do you all set every day? Or how often?
