2014 FZ1 has trouble idling, but only after warming up?

I just did an oil change like 3 days ago and overfilled the oil, so the bike was idling rough due to the extra resistance. I drained some oil and now it's at the proper level. I used Motul 300V 10W-40 Ester Core.

Now the bike has an issue it didn't have before the change though, (at least that I didn't notice.) For example: I start the bike cold and it idles strong all the way to warm temps. But when I turn it off and come back say, 15-20 mins later, it will crank fine but will momentarily idle at like 800-900 rpm, so if I don't bump the throttle while cranking it it might die. Even after that it sometimes idle hunts lightly till about 154 degrees and then idles fine and level again. I haven't noticed any knocking or strange noises and the bike doesn't jerk while riding so I'm stumped.

Is this normal or should I look into it further?
Anyone had a similar issue?

Edit: When the bike idles it stays between 1200-1300 rpm

John Doe Mesh Jacket?

I'm looking to get a mesh jacket cause I live where it's always hot as balls and sunny. Anyone have any experience with John Doe gear? How it fits, holds up in a crash, or how comfy it is?

Visually, I like its simplistic white design. Functionally, its AA rated.
I am a student right now so not super rich so I'm trying to keep the budget low, like 300 or below if I can.

Throttle blipping for beginner on a liter bike?

Just got my first bike last week, 2014 FZ1. I've tried throttle blipping and every time I do I over rev and it jerks when I release the clutch. Any pointers on how to learn on a liter without killing myself? So far I've been manually doing it but if I'm anywhere above 4k my rear screeches, and I'm worried if that happens in the rain or slippery surface I could be done for.

Edit: this is in the context of downshifting.

Ants in gas tank.

Just bought a 2014 FZ1 and when I looked at the gas cap it had ants in it. Today I took the cap off and saw ants are living in an area between the actual fuel stirage and exterior. Is there anything I cna do that wont damage the paint and contaminate the gas?

When I took the cap off there were eggs on this visible level but the ants literally carried them all down into the little screw holes, and I think theres a small colony down there.

Is ElectricalParts.com legit for power tools?

I'm looking to buy a milwaukee 2854 impact gun and found the one on this site. I looked around and it sounds legit from what people have said reference buying wires and stuff, but what about for power tools? How can they price it $75 lower than home depot or ace? Just wanted to make sure before I bought it.

Which tire brand?

I'm gonna be in the need for new tires pretty soon. I work at a tire shop and we have BFGoodrich, Michelin, Uniroyal, Toyo, and Ironman. I'm currently a student and don't have tons of money to throw at a new set of rubber, but I don't wanna get cheap crap either. I live in Hawaii so no need for crossclimates or anything. Just dry, rain, and hella potholes.

Also, I have a thorn in the sidewalk of one tire and would prefer not to have a blowout someday😅

Personally I was just gonna go with some advantage controls and call it a day cause that's what most people get. Thoughts?

3/8 CT9038 Worth it for a student?

I'm currently a student and entering summer, so working full time throughout. I'm building my impact set right now and already have the sockets and torque wrench, but have been ripped between Milwaukee and Snap-on. I've seen everyone gassing milwaukee up saying it's great bang for buck, but they don't give a student discount. I've heard people gas up the 9038 as well though, and snap-on gives a student discount, as seen above. So which would the OG's say is more worth my buck?

Everywhere I've seen snapon the techs say they bought it when they started and that I should just buy it now cause I'll end up getting it later anyways. I haven't heard that kinda stuff with milwaukee yet but so many people say they're more affordable.
