Abandoned Bus Cyanotype print from 35mm Photo - North Carolina, USA

Found a trio of burned out and abandoned busses early this summer along with a nearby house and used it to test out a camera, and see if it would work for a photo shoot once it had cooled down a bit in September or October. The house was uninteresting and was torn down a few weeks later. Unfortunately, when I drove by last weekend, I discovered the busses had been towed away and the site cleaned out so no apocalypse-themed shoots, so instead of saving the reveal until then, when I was experimenting with cyanotype prints I dug out my negative scans of that trip.

Minolta α-9 (Maxxum 9, Dynax 9), Minolta AF 50mm f/1.7, Ilford HP5+ ISO400, Kodak D-76 for 13:00. 10 minute cyanotype exposure under LED UV lamp normally used for curing my resin 3D prints.

Computer Kill

Computer Kill is a Baltimore-based project blending post-punk urgency with brooding electronic soundscapes. Formed in 2022 and spearheaded by songwriter and producer Noah Schippers, he quickly carved out a space in underground scenes both in real life and on the internet. Known for intense, cathartic live shows for having a distinct sonic mood, Computer Kill continues to push the boundaries of darkwave and synth-driven pop.

Night Ritualz

Night Ritualz is the sonic embodiment of moody, haunting soundscapes fused with raw energy. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like “Depeche Mode”, “Deftones”, & “At The Drive In” their music blurs the line between dark wave, electronic, EBM, & post-punk creating a genre they call “fuck wave.” With deep roots in Mexican culture, Night Ritualz also weaves Tejano influences into their songs, blending English and Spanish lyrics to tell stories that are both deeply personal and universally relatable. From shadowy atmospheres to pulse-pounding beats, their sound is a reflection of both sadness and vitality.
