Monthly rental Dubai

I am looking to stay in Dubai for about 3 or 4 months before relocating.
I’m trying to find a short term rental. But I’m finding it incredibly difficult.
I find the prices a bit insane and they increase at least by 2.5k monthly and the agents seem to be making up the numbers as they go. I’m petrified of getting scammed cause I can’t afford it.

Where do I even look and who can I trust at this point?

Lisbon and Porto Local Food

I’ll be solo travelling in Lisbon and Porto for a week.

I’m looking for any good food places that are not touristy and have a more authentic local feel.

Any recommendations? :)

Parking for Rental Car Venice

I plan on renting a car from the airport in Venice to travel to the Dolomites.

Before we travel towards the dolomites we want to explore Venice.

Is parking easily available around the area? Or is it better to cab into Venice first and then return to the airport to collect the car?

We will be in Venice for around 5 hours so any recommendations of attractions are also welcome!

Heat in Spain - Is a trip to Seville doable

The heat in Spain looks intense! How bearable is the weather at the moment?
I’m planning a trip to Seville on 25 July because it’s my dream city to visit but will it be worth it with the current temperatures?

Solo Travel Spain in Summer

I’m planning to travel Spain during end July.
I’m meeting my friend in Barcelona and we will do that and Madrid for a few days before heading to Italy.
But before that I will be solo travelling in Spain for about 1.5 weeks. I do plan to spend at least a few days in Barcelona alone before my friend gets there. So I have about 8 days of “where should I go”???

I really want to visit Seville but I heard that the heat is unbearable but being based in Dubai I think I can handle it? What is your honest opinion on the heat there this time of year?

Another recommendation I got was to try Northern Spain. Which looks BEAUTIFUL! I am an outdoorsy girl and love the mountains and the ocean. The only problem is that I don’t plan to rent a car. I saw some stunning seaside cliffs with beautiful walks like Cabo Vidio and Playa de Ballota but I just don’t know how I’ll get there. What towns would you recommend up north in general?

I also want to see some cities that have museums and art and culture. I’m not really a “lie on the beach or by a pool all day and go to resorts” kind of person. I like to explore.

At the same time I am training for a hilly marathon. So I would love to do morning runs that prepare me for the race. If they are hilly and along the coast then that’s amazing. I also would love to do hikes if they are accessible…

So I’m not sure where to base myself. I want a mix of exploring but not moving around toooo much and wasting time on long commutes.

Any advice would help! :)

First road bike for triathlons

I’m looking to buy my first road bike.
I have experience on gravel but I’m switching to road to do triathlons.
I’m a (29F) and I’m pretty short and petite.
I’m looking for something mid range in price.

Can anyone recommend specific brands to look at like Trek, Canyon, Specialized, Bianchi, Cervelo etc.

Solo Travel Europe Recs Needed!!

I plan to meet my friend in Spain to see Barcelona and Madrid for 4-5 days before we head to Italy.

I have some time in Europe (about 1.5 weeks) from the end July before she arrives so I plan to do some solo travelling.

Would you recommend spending more time in Spain before she gets there or try visiting another country like Portugal or The Netherlands ?

I’m a bit worried about travelling solo in Europe as well as the heat in Spain in some places I’d like to see like Seville.

Any recommendations?

Dolomites Hike Recommendations

Hi! A friend and I plan on hiking the Dolomites for 4-5 days. We've been looking at some options of cool hikes and walks like Adolf Munkel Trail, Seceda, Santa Madalena, Lago di Sorapis, Col de la Puina and Sassolungo Group Loop.

We want some iconic hikes because it's our first time there but we would prefer to stay away from the super busy touristy ones... Unless they are really worth it!

We are pretty active in the trails so we can take on some challenging ones too.

Any recommendations on hikes to choose and maybe where to stay?? Any hidden gems we don't know about?
