What we leave behind

WHAT WE LEAVE BEHIND

These are not illustrations.
They’re a visualization of a real crisis.

Inside a sea turtle.
Inside an albatross.
Inside a sperm whale.

Plastic rarely stays where we put it.

A wrapper tossed aside.
A bag carried by the wind.
Waste that escapes a broken system.

Eventually, it finds its way into rivers, oceans, and living bodies.

The conversation cannot stop at individual responsibility.
We need better waste management, better product design, and systems that prevent plastic from becoming pollution in the first place.

Because what we leave behind doesn’t stay behind.

Why isn’t it?

As children, we don’t see the world as it is.
We see it as it could be.
Somewhere along the way, we learn the “right” colours.
The “right” answers.
The “right” way.
Maybe creativity begins when we question those rules again.
Every artist begins with a question.

Piece by Piece

Piece by Piece is my first attempt at using AI as a creative tool for environmental awareness — not to replace storytelling, but to extend it.
A LEGO world felt right: playful, familiar, and fragile. Because the truth is, when forests disappear, so do we.

This isn’t about technology replacing intention — it’s about using new tools thoughtfully, in service of awareness and impact. Curious to keep learning where this intersection of art, science, and AI can go.

Still learning. Still experimenting.
But hopeful about what these tools can help us say — and who they can help us reach. 🌱

Gully Cricket

There was something magical about growing up in India and playing cricket on the streets.

No perfectly marked pitches. Just a quiet lane, a tennis ball, plastic stumps, scooters that became fielding obstacles, and the constant negotiation with neighbours every time the ball landed in someone's yard.

Those games taught us far more than cricket. They taught us teamwork, resilience, friendship, and the joy of simply being included.

This little animation is inspired by those childhood memories and by a simple thought:

Sometimes, the only thing standing between someone and their moment is an opportunity.

I wanted to capture that familiar feeling of gully cricket while celebrating the idea that every child deserves a chance to play, belong, and shine.

Created entirely in a contemporary children's picture book style using AI-assisted animation tools, while focusing on storytelling, character, and emotion.

I'd love to hear what gully cricket memories this brings back for you.
