I tried to freehand the chapter logo😅

I want to start building a crimson fists army, I’ve been enjoying their lore and stories as of recently and want to know what would be some good additions to a thematic army for them? I plan on picking up the 11th edition starter set to use some of the units from that if that would be smart, I’ll have 2 copies of the space marine ones. How also should I paint them? I know some people paint them as veterans because after rynns world I’m understood a big chunk was left of mostly veterans, but anyways any help is appreciated. Thank you!
