Is it fair to question the future?

To kick this off I'll start with Me 25M and my partner 26F were very close friends for about 5 years, we got together about a year and a half ago and moved in together to a different town a year ago.

We started off good then I found out we were together for a week while she was still with her last boyfriend and she didn't tell me which I was pretty convinced I'd look past it.

Anyway we moved in together and I've learnt that she has no aspirations whatsoever, we started going to the gym together when we first moved then she stopped because she got bored.

Since then she doesn't do anything but sit in bed and watch tiktok for literally all her spare time, doesn't look after her health at all just eats junk food and instant packet food which really bothers me because I pride myself on being healthy and active, messes the house and will only say I'll do it later to things I've asked nicely to do multiple times such as clean up piles of clothes left out or put away things used for prepping food.

She won't go and make friends or hang out with ones I've introduced her too and relys on me for all of her entertainment and validation, I know it seems shallow but I tell her she can't rely on me for her to feel good about herself and needs to get out and do something, but that hasn't happened and I've had that talk over and over the whole time we have been together.

It seems that I have to parent her more than date her and there is no real romance ever she says she's anxious about rejection so nothing gets initiated unless I do it, which doesn't make me feel very wanted.

I'm thinking about how she would be if we had kids and I can't see it being good, she is a really amazing person but I don't know if I'm overlooking a lot of things here

Tl;dr a lot of household couple things are being left to be my responsibility and I'm feeling more like a parent than a partner.

What made you emotionally check out of a relationship

Interested to know what made you check out

For me it's when they can't look after themselves and need a manager basically, all I can think Is how could I have kids with this person if they can't look after themselves

Edit: this Is an example I'm not asking for advice just wanting to know what did it for people

How to continue my apprenticeship after a back surgery

How should you tell a new employer you halted your apprenticeship because of a back injury

So I'm going to be getting a microdiscetomy to fix a back issue that put me out of my trade, once that's done I'm going for a job at sa water to finish my trade

Should I straight up tell them I stopped for a back injury or would that be shooting myself in the foot

Starting a niche skincare brand

I've formulated my own acne cream but don't have much capital to get some pilots out so I want to start a website to build a following, for those that own a brand what did you find built the most loyalty or even better pre orders. Very new to marketing side of things and not too sure on the order I should do things. Cheers

Hello

I'm 23 and I've been struggling with back pain for years since starting sparky apprenticeship and weight lifting but 6 months ago I ruptured my l5s1 disc and haven't worked since

I got an MRI done which shown a moderate herniation that's compressing my s1 nerve root

I have muscle weakness in my right calf (can't go on tips of my toes) which from what I have gathered is a pretty big red flag to get surgery

I seen the spinal specialist in the RAH and they put me on a semi urgent list for surgery (meant to be within 90 days ) but the actual wait time is around 2 years. I'm seeing my first physio next week.

Curious if anyone else has any experience with public health in Aus and how it went for them
