What if each type of virus (all from real life and other virus-themed franchises such as Resident Evil, REC, 28 Days Later, etc.) had an equivalent of Alex Mercer (a virus gaining sentience/sapience and obtaining a humanoid avatar)?

Would their powers essentially be the same as Mercer's, or would there be major differences?

[Ben 10] What if Ben Tennyson and Eunice had a biological daughter together, and she was named Trix Tennyson?

And Trix could not only completely surpass both her parents in every way but also any/every Omnitrix device in existence in every way (and could control/change her own genders and sexualities at will, but mostly sticks to being female)?

What if Until Dawn (game or movie) was a Superhero Horror project? How could it still live up to the title?

The main protagonist is an anti-hero who possesses shapeshifting and a range of all types of horror-themed powers, abilities, traits, and attributes, and who has an innate connection to all elements of horror, dread, fear, and terror.

I ask this because, after I've rewritten the Until Dawn movie and featured two more characters from the original game, I might do so again, but I bring in an original character who has abilities and is the hypothetical child of Sam Giddings and Mike Munroe.

Infamous v Prototype

Let's picture an Infamous/Prototype crossover game. The player protagonist is a conduit (whose powers could be like Delsin Rowe's), is infected with the blacklight virus, and becomes a Prototype/Evolved. How could both different gameplay styles be combined into one, and we get the best of both worlds?

There are better ways for Bryke to make their self-insert, Aang, be super cool and special, even among other avatars, without tearing other characters down or denying Aang actual character development. ATLA would just need a Book 4: Air.

Instead of a lion turtle popping in from the shadow realm to conveniently bestow energybending and how it works, it's revealed that the first avatar, Wan, was given energybending after he mastered all other bending arts and right before the LTs renounced their roles as protectors. Aang would've had the ability all along but can only access it if he makes sure that every single one of his chakras is open. No exceptions. Aang does so, and the only price he had to pay for it is his romantic love for Katara and his idealized mental image of his own nation.

Next, Aang pushes himself harder than ever, and he masters all techniques and sub-bendings of each bending art he wields, putting himself slightly above all bending members of Team Avatar, including Azula, should she earn her place in Team Avatar as Zuko did.

He gains new personality traits that reflect such a status, and he uses his energybending to bestow airbending to worthy candidates, such as his Air Acolytes and Ty Lee.

On the other hand, maybe the lion turtle can show up, but only if Harmonic Convergence arrives by the end of season 4 and Vaatu is the true orchestrator of the 100-year war. Ozai can be the Dark Avatar, but instead of Ozai fusing with Vaatu, Ozai IS Vaatu, and he was counting on the lion turtle making an appearance.

The Dark Avatar can develop abilities that are almost the same as Shang Tsung's and General Kai the Collector's, just without the shapeshifting parts, and he uses them to not only take/master all bending arts, sub-bending techniques, and even non-bender skills, but to consume/control the very sources of all elements and bending arts and the entire power system of the Avatar Universe (all koi fish spirits, dragons, badger moles, sky bison, and lion turtles, and the things that empower and/or weaken bending), all in the reverse order of the Avatar Cycle.

Aang loses his past lives, but in return, he purifies Vaatu with spiritbending with the help of all bending members of Team Avatar; they all combine elements and bending arts to perform the art together while all non-bending members of Team Avatar use temporary energybending to boost the others and the spiritbending art as it's being performed. Aang then causes Vaatu's natural powers and instincts to be removed and combined with all of Raava's. Ergo, Vaatu is purified and drained from existence while Raava evolves into Raavaatu, the avatar spirit of balance itself and bending itself. He's the one who leaves the spirit portals open, and new airbenders randomly appear.

This would make Korra's life as an Avatar way easier.

Zutara - One Year Later

Katara: Hey Zuko.

Zuko: Katara! It's so great to see you!

Katara: Likewise. It's been a year since we last saw each other.

Zuko: Yeah. Are the three water tribes thriving nicely?

Katara: Yes. Thanks to Aang leaving the three spirit portals open, traveling to each tribe is faster and easier. Speaking of Aang, he and Azula come by every now and then and help Sokka and me out with the rebuilding of the tribes and inspiring people with waterbending to master both the combat and healing aspects of waterbending, regardless of gender.

Zuko: Aang and Azula come by here as well to make sure I don't "burn our home to the ground," as Azula puts it.

Katara: Still hard to believe they're together now.

Zuko: Tell me about it. But the heart wants what the heart wants.

Katara: Is everything going okay with the Fire Nation?

Zuko: Surprisingly, yes. As it turns out, the Fire Lord before me revealing himself to be a Cataclysmic Dark Avatar who orchestrated the 100-year war, played my family and all remaining three nations for fools, and attempted to wipe out all life through darkness, chaos, and unbalanced elements, automatically erased what little respect anyone has ever had for him, and everyone became grateful to me for helping the Avatar destroy him once and for all.

Katara: That's great to hear. By the way, the Air Nation's recovering, too, thanks to Aang bestowing airbending to worthy candidates, starting with Ty Lee.

Zuko: I've heard about that.

Katara: Aside from the spirit portals opening and the avatar spirit representing light/peace/good and darkness/chaos/evil this time, everything almost seems to be going back to how things used to be.

Zuko: To how things are supposed to be.

Katara: I just wish our parents lived to see it.

Zuko: (Sighs) So do I.

Katara: So, you gonna be busy today?

Zuko: Maybe. Maybe not.

Katara: Regardless, I'm gonna be hanging out with you for a while.

Zuko: Really?

Katara: Yeah. Sokka assured me that he's got everything under control, and I let him know when to message me if he ever needs me.

Zuko: You're always welcome here, and I already saw to it that you'd always be treated the way I'm treated whenever you arrive.

Katara: I noticed. Thanks for that.

Zutara - Humanity

Iroh: Doubt is a poison, Zuko.

Zuko: No, Uncle.

Iroh: Do not succumb to doubt. You are still on the right path.

Zuko: I said stop! I don't want to hear it right now! Not from you! All I want are answers!

Iroh: What would you like to know?

Zuko: The real reason why you refuse to confront my father. You knew. You knew who he really is. What he really is. Didn't you?

Iroh: I originally intended to fight your father, but Lord Bumi and the spirits advised against it, believing I'd fail, and that he can only be defeated by the Avatar. When I asked why, all they told me was that it was because they could sense a dark and powerful presence around your father. There was something about him that wasn't human. I did not know that your father was Vaatu this whole time. I had no idea that the demon who orchestrated the 100-year war and our family curse was living among us all along. I swear.

Zuko: That doesn't change the fact that you have been lying to me! You set me up! You said that the Fire Nation would hate you for possibly killing off the fire lord and taking his place, but you conveniently thought that they'd be ok with me being the one to do the usurpation for you. Has it never occurred to you that I might've had to kill my own sister for power? If I hadn't picked up on Azula not acting like herself, that might've exactly happened! You called her crazy, and yet she was the one who saved me. She told my mother about my grandfather's hit on me, giving her the means to save my life. She kept her promise of overturning my banishment. She kept quiet about my secret meetings with you while you were in prison. She even asked me to join her at the beach once! This whole time, she was reaching out. I could've helped her but you... you and father... You both only used us as pai sho pieces in you guys' petty grudge match!

Iroh: I'm sorry, Zuko...

Zuko: I trusted you. I confided in you. I believed in you. I constantly panicked that you'd hate me for choosing Azula over you. Even now I'm fighting your battles, cleaning up your messes. I'm not doing it anymore. Vaatu, the throne, I'm done with all of it!

Iroh: You're in pain. Is there anything I can do to help you?

Zuko: Yes. Get out!

This left Iroh shocked and hurt, but he perfectly understood. Iroh complied and left. Katara heard everything. She almost didn't want to go in, but she saw Zuko plop on the floor sobbing. She approached her slowly but trusted he won’t hurt her. She sat next to him, and he began to relax by her mere presence.

Zuko: I can’t believe this. Aang means to tell me, us, that the dark spirit Vaatu, the same demon who spoke to my great-grandfather Sozin in his dreams, manipulated him into waging 100 years of war and suffering, and manipulated my grandmother Ilah into setting this demon free. He says that Vaatu and my father...are the same person!?

Katara: I know. I find it hard to swallow too.

Zuko: How could this be...

Katara: It honestly explains how your father was such an unforgivable monster.

Zuko: But what does that make me? What does it make Azula? This makes us the children of this monster who started the pain you endured your whole life; he killed your father and is the reason your mother is dead! How can you even bear to look at me!?

Katara: Because you are 100% human.

Zuko: How do you know that?

Katara: Because Ozai may have never been human, but the rest of your family are, including your mother, which makes you human too. A human who was able to choose to be one of us and do the right thing just like any other human. If what you said about Azula is true, then even she's also capable of being human, and your father could never take that away no matter who or what he is.

Zuko: Yeah. You’re right. Thank you.

Katara: No problem.

Zuko: If you want to go and sort something out, I won’t stop you; I’ll be ok.

Katara began holding on to Zuko’s torso. She held Zuko's hand. Their fingers interlocked.

Katara: No, it’s ok, I want to stay. I feel safe with you.

Darwin may have been forced to warp away from Hulk, but I bet he has the ability to adapt from defeat, become superior to whoever defeated him, and not be defeated the same way again (sorta like with Doomsday and Kratos).

So, should Darwin and Hulk go another round, I think Darwin's second battle against Hulk would play out similarly to how Doomsday's battle against Hulk played out in Death Battle, and Darwin would win.

Zutara - Unnerving Secrets

Zuko and Katara were in Ozai's childhood room.

Katara: Wanna remind me why we're in here again?

There was silence.

Katara: Zuko?

She found Zuko staring at a set of pictures drawn on a wall. She went to him and looked at the pictures with them. They looked like a 5-year-old drew disturbing creatures not from this earth.

Zuko: What nightmarish vision could've inspired my father to make all of these?

Katara: What was wrong with your family?

Zuko: No. Not even Azula could've come up with this. My father's troubles went beyond his own family problems. That man saw something. Something terrified him.

Katara: Terrified him enough to act all tyrannical later on in his life?

Zuko: I don't know. Maybe.

"Zuko would take a lightning bolt for anyone!"

Even if that were true, that only shows how far he's come from an arrogant war criminal to a genuine hero and a friend to Team Avatar. So, this constant idea that Zuko would throw all that progress away and reduce himself to his Season 1 self the moment he and Katara decide to start dating is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard in my life.

Don't get me wrong. I do like the common Zutara parallel about Zuko and Katara facing and overcoming their respective sources of trauma. Ozai and Yon Rha.

But I imagine that Ozai was also the source of Katara's trauma (or becomes one at some point) in different ways. The fear and hate she had for Yon Rha should be tripled and aimed right at Ozai, but unlike Yon Rha, he's an overpowered, smug snake who can only ever lose to a master Avatar, and Katara truly seeks his death.

Speaking of the Avatar, Ozai should also be a source of trauma to Aang and the rest of Team Avatar in various ways. I want Ozai to prove that he can only be defeated by a master Avatar, and to be the archenemy/foil to all members of Team Avatar, not just Zuko.

I imagine there being two ways of doing this:

1: Iroh is rewritten to be Ursa's brother; that way, either Sozin, Azulon, or Ozai is born on the same day as Roku, personally betrays Roku and instigates the 100-year war, but reigns all the way until the end of the war's 100th/final year and is still in peak physical prime condition despite how old he'd be at that point. All the atrocities, feats, legacies, characterizations, combat experiences, and firebending levels of all three Fire Lords, Sozin, Azulon, and Ozai, would all belong to only one of these Fire Lords alone. Zuko and Azula are still born on their canon birthdays and still have their respective character arcs. The comet arrives at the end of season 4.

2: Vaatu orchestrates the 100-year war through the use of Sozin and his dreams. With the help of Iroh's mother, Ilah, Vaatu gets free and is reborn as a human named Ozai. Vaatu/Ozai is the Dark Avatar and, since he's already the greatest/strongest firebending master there is, he'll also be the greatest/strongest earthbending, waterbending, airbending, energybending, and even non-bending master there is, and he achieves this status in the reversed/inverted way to how Aang and all the avatars before him have done it. The comet arrives at the end of season 3, but Harmonic Convergence arrives at the end of season 4.

Which would y'all pick? If number 1, which Fire Lord should be born the same day as Roku and start the war but rule long enough to see its end 100 years later?

Either way, ATLA has a Book 4: Air, which allows Zutara to be properly executed, and the Avatar stops the war at the end of season 4 instead of season 3.

Zutara/Azulaang - Dominant Wives

Aang: Hey Zuko, I hear your wife has been quite the controversial authority figure for the Fire Nation. Some love her, some hate her.

Zuko: Yeah, for a waterbender, Katara has the passion of a firebender.

Aang: And you've been acting more like a cool-headed waterbender; you've got the lightningbending to prove it. Balance through irony.

Zuko: Yep. Is your wife behaving yourself?

Aang: Well, Azula hasn't zapped me to death twice, as you can see. The Phoenix Queen and I helped Toph construct a metalbending academy. She's really like Iroh, Toph, and Bumi combined if the latter two were both firebenders.

Zuko: It's still a bit strange to see that side of her; she's been so good at bottling up her emotions for so long, I just assumed she never had any to begin with.

Aang: You can thank our spirit bond and her permanently opening all of her chakras; those helped reveal these hidden depths.

Zuko: There are days when our wives teaming up and planning something together worries me more than them fighting each other.

Aang: Tell me about it. Together, they are weapons of mass destruction, but we can't help loving them anyway, and I'll always be grateful that they are getting along.
