i found "you know i'm down" like, 5 or 6 years ago at this point i think? i remembered liking the song at the time but never decided to dive deeper. i recently had judy garland recommended to me through apple radio and i was absolutely floored at how amazing that song is. the band name sounded familiar so i checked them out and yep! same guys who did that song i liked years ago, which i now love. i listened to count bateman, loved it + their latest record which is also awesome. any fan favorite deep cuts or albums i should check out next?

btw: i think judy garland is a masterpiece of a song and diving deeper proved to me these guys are generational songwriters and masters of crafting an amazing vibe. just wanted to share my love, i hope they blow tf up soon so everyone and their dog is talking about them!!

there's no way doing acid every weekend with your best buddies for a summer can make a person that driven and artistically capable. i've worked with tape recorders before and holy shit!!! how did he manage to record all of this without sounding like guided by voices?? does anyone know how old he was when he first started writing music/messing with tape recorders? i'm just so baffled at how this album even possibly exists in our world.

sorry for the glaze, but avey deserves it for this album. s/o to mr noah too his drumming is unreal on the whole album.

if you're like me and you paid for the numbered albums to have them streaming in the bandcamp app, you're now no longer allowed to stream it.

i know will made the numbered albums free to download but not to stream in the bandcamp app unless you pay for the albums. i paid for them 8 years ago so i wouldn't have to use local files.

why is will changing a product i paid for almost a decade ago without any communication?? the album in my library is now no longer the album i paid for. if i bought a CD i know that the artist won't burst into my house one night 8 years later and the replace the CD with one that he thinks is "better". this is a pretty dick move to all of his fans like myself who have financially supported him for nearly a decade.

changing songs on streaming is one thing as that's a subscription based service, but this isn't a subscription. this is a product i paid for that is no longer what i bought. that's what we all should be getting mad at will for. i personally don't give a fuck what he believes religiously or if he wants to censor his work AS LONG AS THE ORIGINAL MUSIC IS STILL THERE TO LISTEN TO!

he took away a product myself and others paid for without telling anyone. having someone pay you for something and then having them go "uh whoops actually no you can't have that anymore" nearly 10 years later is fucked no matter how you slice it. end of story.

i expected better from will is all. i'm willing to bet he had his best intentions at heart doing this so maybe he'll see this and realize "yeah wait that is pretty fucked up to do" but idk.

there's no way the bank was real right??? does anyone have info on this?? i have so many questions but i'm so excited for season 2 and the movie next!

i love this song it's like if i tried to imagine "hmm what would an awesome new panda bear song sound like. probably be slick af and have catchy creative layered vocals." it's so good goddamn. peak panda bear peak sonic boom right here imo.
