27f. 7 years of monogamy and a 1 year old baby. Two weeks ago during a candida episode I discovered that I had genital warts. Pap smear came back negative. Tomorrow I will get the HPV test results but I have convinced myself that in addition to the low risk HPV that causes warts I probably also have high risk (since most sexually active young people are infected at some point) and since my body reactivated a low risk, the same thing happens with high risk HPV. I suffer from health anxiety and the idea that I could develop cervical cancer and die leaving my child alone scares me.

Hi, i did hpv test and im waiting for results. According to what I read, it is generally tested for high risk HPV. I have genital warts. I want to know how to detect which type of HPV you have if the tests only detect high risk ones.
