Don't care if it's an hot take or I'm alone on this one, but I have to say it: with BND, MJ can go toe-to-toe with TASM Gwen as best love interest and one day she will surpass her.

With BND, MJ showed her maturity and evolution as character. Being the core of a lot of important scenes for Peter's character, for better or for worse.

Her moment with the letter showed both her strenght and struggles because even when she said she doesn't love Peter, it's not because she's mean, but because she can't love him for things she didn't (or better, doesn't remember).

However, the scene with Ned and then the one at hospital shows MJ deeply caring for Peter, maybe unconsciously buy there's a part of her who still loves him, as confirmed by the post-credit scene with Peter and Ned.

How does she go toe-to-toe with Gwen, tho? First of all, the chemistry between Tom and Zendaya is better than the one between Garfield and Stone (and you need a LOT of chemistry for that).

Second, she shows her complexity and problems of book MJ without the **huge** baggage Durst MJ had in the Raimi Trilogy, making her much more likable.

The job they did with MJ is amazing and I fully believe they're using all of her potential to make her spectacular.

Why was pre-snake Rykard so evil?

In the Volcano Manor there're tons of torture instruments for albinaurics, and while Raya Lucaria despise them to the point to exterminate, I didn't find any reason to Rykard to be this cruel with them, since he's a Carian.

Like, he wasn't torturing them for informations like Gideon, who killed hundreds of Albinaurics for the medallion, but he created instruments of torture even after the interrogation.

Just look at the Black Dumpling's description:

>Mask forced on a victim's head to lend torture an extra degree of cruelty. It magnifies one's fears and makes them acutely aware of all forms of pain.

Raises attack power when the wearer suffers from madness.

When the Black Dumpling goes on, the torturer no longer seeks answers; only to inflict suffering without hope of relief.

Like, Martin (if he's responsible of it, might have been Miyazaki too) seemed to have written Rykard as a ER's Bolton, but unlike Roose or Ramsay, he was raised in a much more lovable family. Did Radagon abandoning Rennala and him hurt him this much? Or there's an explenation and I missed it?

Who is Tarnished's nemesis?

  1. Morgott, The Omen King. Someone who despised our existence from the beginning and with which we had 3 boss fights during all the game to the point it became personal.

  2. Miquella The Kind. The best contender to the Elden Ring. He became a god like his mother and took away parts of himself, St. Trina included, to realize his dream. Just like we went throught all the layers of Hell to reach the Erdtree, from sacrificing Melina to join the Frenzied Flame. And with Radahn, is one of the hardest boss fights of the whole game alongside Malenia. One of, if not the main reason we fight him, is because we know we don't actually win if Miquella is still alive.

  3. Dung Eater. His own existence is opposite to ours. We spend the whole game helping people and forging a better future for the world (and this including the Frenzied Flame too, since according their philosophy destroying the world means destroying the suffering too), but the Dung Eater defies this philosophy by killing and torturing everyone he meets with pleasure and his ending is the only one where everyone explicitly suffers. And this only after we kill him in a duel like the other two candidates.

Do you think someone else is Tarnished's nemesis? If so, who? If you think he has no enemy but instead rivals, feel free to write who they are.

Sexual assults allegations against Stephen Wacker, Marvel’s new EiC

Don’t let this blow away in the news cycle, this is the moment stuff like this needs to come out so an accounting can happen. Spread the word so this bullshit asshole doesn’t get to stand above the consequences of his actions.

Can someone explain me who Stephen Wacker Is?

I know him from the fight he had with JMS on facebook about the post-OMD sales and while he was harsh with Joe, he started it himself.

I heard mixed things about him, mostly positive. He edited 52, Hawkeye by Matt Fraction, Ms. Marvel by Wilson, Pre-superior Slott run and other great work but I also heard he was very antagonistic during the BND era.

Now what I'm asking is: how was he? Was he antagonistic because he was an asshole or because he had to deal with the worst side of Spider-Man fanbase? Like, imagine all the hate letters he got during the BND era and the stress to control a weekly story. Plus he was what? 20? 30? It's been 10 years maybe he calmed down.

Also, was he really anti-MJ or it's just something fans had the impression at time?

Am I missing something?! Why can't I hit him?!

I landed 1 or 2 hits with him! You saw it how I used R1 and R2 and it touched him! And yet I didn't hit him.

Star Wars pre-New Trilogy (film, books, comics, cartoons and co.) vs MCU pre-NWH (included)

Side material is legit if it's before the two points I set.

Just to be clear, I mean everything before The Force Awakens but this is not included.

Best weapon against Maliketh?

I used Hand of Malenia and Rivers of Blood but I barely hurt Gurranq with those.

Then I tried with these ones and arrived to the second phase.

Now, between these three, which one is the best against Maliketh?

Which one is worse?

Both of them created an universally disliked status quo.

Both written by a controversial writer.

Both have other writers fixing the mess or are still doing it.

Prove me wrong

Malenia, PCR, Mogh, Rennala, Raya Lucaria post-Rennala fight/Ranni allianace, Messmer and Rellana, Placidusax, Lanseax, Niall and maybe even O'Neill. All of them could've been avoidable if the Tarnished stopped a moment and asked 'why are you attacking me? Why are your soldiers attacking me?! I just came here to take a bunch of herbs!'.

Most of them have the excuse of being crazy, not sentient, evil as fuck or racist towards Tarnished, but these I listed, plus someone else, are completely sane and you could talk to them... I the Tarnished actually asked why they are fighting.
