St. Paul Pastor Accused of Stabbing Girlfriend's Ex, Then Hiding in Church

https://www.kare11.com/article/news/local/st-paul-pastor-charged-with-stabbing-a-man/89-e97df3f2-a044-4c15-9565-fb0830be3c0f

ST PAUL, Minn. — A St. Paul pastor is facing charges of second-degree assault after he allegedly stabbed a man on June 25.

Terrence Philip Walker Sr. is one of the lead pastors at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church.

Prosecutors allege that Walker was at a woman's home when her ex-boyfriend visited, asking for a receipt. The woman told officers that Walker is her current boyfriend of four years.

Walker got into a verbal argument with the woman's ex-boyfriend. The woman told investigators that she saw Walker swing his arms and tell the man something like, "You got in my face. You tried to punch me."

The ex-boyfriend said his lip was bleeding and he had pain in his stomach, and he asked for an ambulance. Once police officers arrived at the scene, they found the man bleeding from his mouth, with clothing pressed against a stab wound in his lower left abdomen.

A witness at the scene told officers that Walker "kept trying to pounce" at the stabbing victim even after he began to bleed. Officers recovered a razor blade from Walker after the stabbing.

A man threatened to shoot a woman and held her and a child at gunpoint during a violent altercation in Minneapolis on June 6, 2026.

John Mason Jr., of Minneapolis, faces multiple charges including two counts of 2nd-degree assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of possessing ammunition or a firearm after being convicted of a violent crime and one count of reckless discharge of a firearm within a municipality.

According to the complaint, the incident began when the victim and her friend attempted to cross the street and were nearly hit by a silver sedan driven by a woman. Mason, who was outside, yelled at the driver, leading to a verbal confrontation. The driver claimed she had a gun and threatened to shoot them. The victim then ran back into the house with the children. Mason remained outside, where he allegedly punched the female driver in the face.

While inside, the victim heard gunshots and believed the driver was shooting at Mason. She called 911 from a bedroom where she was hiding with the children. Mason entered the bedroom, locked the door and threatened to shoot the victim, claiming the victim would no longer have a mother. During this time, he allegedly pistol-whipped another victim and fired a gun twice, with one shot directed towards the second victim.

When police arrived, Mason attempted to hide two handguns behind a washing machine in the basement. Officers executed a search warrant and recovered the firearms, along with cartridge casings and blood evidence in the bedroom. The second victim was found injured with cuts and blood on his forehead.

String of south Minneapolis armed robberies targeted delivery drivers

https://kstp.com/kstp-news/top-news/warrant-string-of-south-minneapolis-armed-robberies-targeted-delivery-drivers/

A series of armed robberies targeting food delivery drivers across Minneapolis earlier this year was the result of a coordinated months-long scheme, according to newly filed court documents.

Minneapolis police say the suspects would lure drivers to specific south Minneapolis addresses using fake delivery orders before robbing them at gunpoint.

According to a search warrant application filed in Hennepin County District Court, police arrested 18-year-old Aizarion Takais Dementral Campbell on May 26, who authorities say later admitted to the crimes and helped investigators identify his accomplices.

The affidavit details six total robberies involving food delivery drivers. Investigators also linked Campbell to a February incident in which a victim was lured to a location for a clothing sale through TikTok before being robbed at gunpoint.

In addition to his case in adult court, Campbell faces juvenile charges in six additional incidents that took place before he turned 18.

Suspect arrested while hiding in Minneapolis for fatal downtown shooting in Fargo

FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Azeem Holmes in a downtown Fargo shooting last August, the Fargo Police Department announced Wednesday.

Jayvon Allen was taken into custody in Minneapolis by the U.S. Marshals Service North Star Task Force on Wednesday, June 24, at 12:30 p.m., according to Fargo Police. Allen has no permanent address.

Holmes was killed in the Aug. 3, 2025, shooting in downtown Fargo. The case has been connected to an escalating gang conflict in Fargo involving members of United Blood and Black Disciple Nations, according to court testimony from earlier this year.

Allen was previously identified in connection with the feud during a January court hearing, when Fargo Police detectives outlined the rivalry between two groups.

That same day, C’Aundre Douglas was accused in the shooting death of 20-year-old Elijah Hughes in south Fargo, which police said was a retaliation for Holmes’ death.

Man charged in Brooklyn Center bus stabbing that left victim 'likely' permanently paralyzed

A Minneapolis man is charged after he allegedly stabbed a man on a city bus in Brooklyn Center, leaving doctors to say the victim will likely be permanently paralyzed.

According to a criminal complaint, Metro Transit officers responded on June 17 to a bus fight near Brooklyn Road and 65th Avenue North. Officers later identified 27-year-old Darshawn Turner as the man accused of stabbing another man in the side of the head.

At the scene, officers found a man stabbed in his left temple and bleeding “profusely,” according to court records. Hospital records said doctors performed a craniotomy because of a blood clot in his brain and said he would likely suffer permanent paralysis on at least half his body.

In a statement, Turner admitted he got into a fight with the man after the man stared at him. According to court records, Turner also said the man spit on him after he got off the bus, which led to the stabbing.

Records also show Turner had an active warrant from 2025 in a case where he allegedly stabbed a man at another Brooklyn Center bus station.

Recent Worst Seats discussion

Some interesting discussion on this episode. A few key things I’d like to highlight:

-Russo thinks Tarasenko is likely not re-signing and will go to market.

-Zuccarello still hasn’t been re-signed which should be something that happens quickly.

-the rumor of Petry potentially being re-signed by the Wild is false according to Russo.

-free agents that are out there: Marchment(Russo notes this is a Guerin type of guy but is expecting to get paid. I personally would be absolutely disgusted if we signed him, I fucking hate everything about him). Bobby Mcmann. David Perron. Alex Tuch. Anders Lee. Patrick Kane(this one interests me).

-Pat Brisson, the agent for Quinn Hughes, now recently acquired Trocheck. He’s also the agent for Kane and Larkin. Russo thinks that at some point the Pat Brisson connection will land one of his clients on the Wild.

-Wild have about 10 million in cap space to work with.

-Gustavvson will likely be on LTIR until November.

-Trocheck is maybe plan B if we don’t land Larkin.

-Russo thinks Kaprizov not willing to compromise with his contract negotiations will maybe cost them Zuccarello(this annoys me because I think Zuccy takes a team friendly contract for likely his last year in the league. I do not think he will be trying to get as much money as possible. And also, would Russo be saying this if Kaprizov signed for 1 million less which was the initial offer? I don’t think 1 million is going to be the determining factor if Zuccarello stays or not)

-Russo seems certain that Hughes will re-sign before the season starts and thinks it will be shocking if it’s not done before the beginning of the season

I’m probably forgetting some other stuff. But anyways, lots of interesting stuff in this episode.
