Finally, something that makes some kind of sense coming from the city leaders of Minneapolis.

How it’s taken this long to make this decision is beyond confusing. Like “hey ya know that person who tried to kill another person but failed? Let’s give this the most minimal amount of investigative work and just hope the person doesn’t do it again..”

I have a feeling this was the standard operating procedure prior to May of 2020.

“A $50 debt is believed to have been the reason behind the fatal shooting of a woman inside a Minneapolis apartment last week.”

“Henrietta Shamandra Childress, 42, has been charged with second-degree murder in connection with the fatal shooting of 32-year-old Aisha Farah Yussuf.”

“While in the unit, witnesses said the two women had been arguing about a $50 debt.”

“A second man who remained in the room said he saw Childress go into a bedroom and return with a gun.
The apartment tenant said he heard the other man yell at Childress, “Hershey, what are you doing?” referring to her by her nickname, followed by gunfire.”

“The second witness said he told Childress to stop, but that she shot Yussuf multiple times with a pistol. The man then ran out of the apartment, followed close behind by Childress. Both had left the area before investigators arrived at the apartment.”

Inability to think of consequences and repercussions for actions. It’s the same with all these stories, taking lives over a hand bag or $50 dollars or because someone was disrespected or road rage.. why are these people unable to just go “wait, maybe I shouldn’t kill this person over $50”.

That voice that exists in most rational peoples heads that says “let’s not act on our initial thought, let’s avoid throwing our freedom away over $50 dollars” these people just don’t have it. It’s so bizarre to me how people who kill you over fucking nothing and throw away their life and freedom in the process. Truly baffling.

“Dionisio Martin Limon, 28, of Minneapolis was pronounced dead at the scene near Powderhorn Park after the crash, which happened shortly before 4:30 a.m. Monday, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office.”

“Police determined that Limon was speeding in a pickup truck and ran a stop sign at the intersection of 10th Avenue South and East 38th Street right before hitting the back of the bus.”

“The bus driver was hospitalized with injuries that aren’t life-threatening, and there were no passengers aboard since the bus hadn’t yet started service for the morning.”

“Limon had been convicted of stealing of vehicle and fleeing officers on three separate occasions, according to court records.”

These people will not be taken off the street or suffer any sort of repercussions until they kill someone or themselves. Minnesota DOJ is pathetic and for whatever reason they refuse to prosecute these people who clearly live to do nothing but commit crimes.

“A 16-year-old girl and a 17-year-old boy were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after they were shot the night of May 4.”

“Simasjay Maurice Blanch, 19, and Vegas Ramone Huff Jr., 18, both of Minneapolis, were arrested last week for their alleged involvement in the shooting.”

“According to a criminal complaint, Blanch and Huff had been involved in a fight at a home on the 7900 block of Bloomington Avenue South earlier in the day”

“Huff allegedly asked Blanch for assistance going back to the address later on, and when they got to the house, the complaint describes someone yelling from the car at the victims before Blanch reached over the passenger’s seat to shoot at them.”

And here’s the kicker:

Blanch faces two counts of second-degree assault, while Huff is charged with two counts of aiding and abetting second-degree assault.

That’s it.. second degree assault is all that one of them is getting. Not attempted murder, just assault. He will at most serve a couple months in jail and be released on parole, if he’s even convicted.

“Court officials said five people, a man and four children, were inside the home when the fire started, and when crews arrived, a 9-month-old baby was still inside. The baby survived and was taken to the hospital.”

“The mother of the baby lived in the home and Abdullahi was on probation for violating a restraining order prohibiting him from contacting her, and according to investigators, two days before the fire, prosecutors say Abdullahi texted the woman, “when I see u I’m smoke u.””

“Cordaryle Frank-Allen Frost, 38, and Cynthia Victoria Frost, 37, were taken into custody May 11. Both have been booked on probable cause for second-degree murder, drive-by shooting toward a person and first-degree assault causing great bodily harm.”

“The shooting happened just after 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, in the northbound lanes of University Ave. NE, south of 53rd Ave. N. Officers found a woman who had been shot in the neck while driving an SUV. She left the roadway and came to a stop near the on-ramp to eastbound Interstate 694.”

This shooting was 100% justified. People can stop trying to make this seem like it was police brutality.

“Marquez Demar Hill-Turnipseed pleaded guilty to second-degree murder charges stemming from a drive-by shooting. He entered the plea petition on Friday, May 8, 2026.”

“As previously reported, police responded to a shooting at Boom Island Park on June 1, 2025. Upon arrival, police said they found multiple gunshot victims, including a woman, later identified as Katraya Shapryia Whiting, who was shot while inside the vehicle near the park entrance. The single mother died of her injuries. According to law enforcement, 130 shell casings were located in the area”

Ladarrius Lavon Grandberry, 18, and Tyler Lashun Payne, 19, each face two felony counts of second-degree assault with a dangerous weapon and reckless discharge of a firearm within a municipality, according to criminal complaints filed in Ramsey County District Court.

Police responded to reports of shots fired at the intersection of Sims Avenue and Greenbrier Street, the complaints say. While on scene, officers heard two volleys of shots fired to the west and multiple additional calls came in reporting shots fired.

Officers drove to the area of Payne Avenue and York Avenue, where they saw several people running southbound on Payne Avenue from Sims Avenue. Police chased and detained Grandberry, finding a magazine in the left pocket of his zip-up sweatshirt and a handgun near his feet. Grandberry kicked the handgun toward the fence, according to the complaint.

Following a Miranda advisory, Grandberry told police his younger brother had been having ongoing issues with other juveniles at school. He said a group of 20 people had showed up at their house earlier that day to try to fight his brother, and his mother called him to help. Later, Grandberry said he and some friends, including his brother, went to Wilder Recreation Center to hang out. Grandberry told police he grabbed a gun from his house for protection due to the ongoing issues his brother was facing, the complaint states.

Shortly after arriving at the rec center park, Grandberry said a group of about eight people began verbally challenging them from across the park. He said most of the group were wearing masks concealing their faces, and some had bags on their chest and insinuated that they had guns.

Grandberry told police he and Payne turned to walk through an alley then heard several gunshots. He said he assumed the group from the park was shooting at them, although he didn’t see who was shooting or where the shots were coming from, and he and Payne shot back toward the entrance of the alley, court documents state. Grandberry said he shot one time then his gun malfunctioned. He told police he thought Payne shot five or six times.
