Not sure how to feel about this

Not sure how to feel about this

I kinda feel like it's a little silly lol. It's not the same as a regular 2g vape and I would have to charge them both. It feel like being two coils it will burn up a little faster.

But the oil is fine, flavor is good with them being postless vapes. So the hardware is decent.

I only got them because country grown put them on sale today. I would never in my life pay $70 a piece for these.

My first scooter! 2002 Honda Reflex 250

After much back and forth and a journey of decisions over the last few months I landed on this and it's home now. 10 hour drive there and back. It is up to date on maintenance and tires and brakes, and comes with a complete service manual, and owners manual. 20,000 miles. The service manual will be awesome to read and put together a list of work to begin and keep track of when needed.

Wanting to ask if this might be safe instead of just running with it.

This is a 1.25 inch to 2 inch adapter with a 2 inch hitch. Attached to a 2011 Subaru outback 3.6r

I need to tow a motorcycle trailer from uhaul, with a 450lb scooter on it. Nothing too crazy I feel like. Will this even remotely work?

Edit: I'm going to go buy the correct hitch, there are a few stores near me that carry it. Walmart had the hitch but no correct size ball for it, so I was kinda SOL when I got there and panicked bought this. I got home and it didn't look right so I took this photo and asked if it was or not. I appreciate the help.

Finally narrowed down on my first scooter choice, considering two options.

Alright so it's finally time. In the next week I'll have the funding for and be buying my first scooter. My budget is around $2000~ USD.

My main travel with this scooter will be my ride to work. Its a half mile long road that is 35mph, and then 3 miles of 30mph. The 3 miles is mostly flat. So only a 3.5 mile total. It would be nice to ride into town where it never goes over 45mph, or maybe on some 35mph back roads, but those roads will have hills. It would be REALLY nice to be able to go on a 55mph road for traveling some but that's not a total deal breaker as this is my first scooter, I figure maybe slower is better for now.

The scooter that I'm really looking at is a garage kept 1984 Honda Elite 125cc. It fires up and runs, comes with original manuals, has fair tires, and I just really love that pop up headlight. I feel like this scooter would be good for learning not only riding but maintenance and overall scooter mechanics. Would also be unique and nice to hold on to overall. It has 6,000 miles and is only 1200 bucks.

The second scooter I'm looking at is a 2002 Honda reflex 250cc. This would also be a really good scooter and it checks the box of being able to go further. It has 20k miles but has all of the maintenance done and paperwork to prove it. Also has brand new tires. They are asking $2100 and it comes with some extra things like spark plugs and oil, and even a spare wind screen. But it doesn't have a pop up headlight lol.

The in between is to find a helix.

Suzuki burgman 650 - too much for my first scooter?

Hello. I've been scouring the Internet for a scooter for weeks now and the time to have my cash ready is coming. I have spotted out a really nice maintained burgman 650, new tires and battery starts and runs well, but it has 39,000 miles. The seller is asking $2500.

Besides that I'm curious if the 650 would be "too much" for my first scooter. I'm 5'6 and weigh 250lbs and I have pretty good leg strength.

Any advice is appreciated.

Should I buy this?

I've done some research and it seems like such a cool thing to just waste away. I'm looking for honestly my first bike, and I have lots of time to put into restoring it. It would be cool to own something like this in my opinion but I really don't know what to watch out for.

I added another photo in the comments. It's a voyager.

Can't decide between a Honda Navi, or a Yamaha Zuma.

Hello there. I know the Honda Navi is not necessarily a scooter, but I thought this was the best place to ask this.

I'm going to stop owning a car for the foreseeable future. I want to get an alternative form of transportation for my 3.5 mile commute. There are some hills on it, but it's mostly flat after about the first 1.5 miles. The speed on the hills road is 35 mph and the speed on the straight away is 40 mph.

The issue with the Navi in my own mind is what if I want to go visit my mother or something. It would be SUPER nice to be able to go 55mph on the Zuma. If it is capable of doing so?

Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Of course the Navi is only 2000 which is also kinda pushing me toward it. I have until July basically to decide which one. I'll have enough cash by then for either one and my motorcycle license as well.

Is this going to cause any long term issues? Also need cleaning tips.

6 weeks old IronFlex (2620). Super comfortable by the way at least for me with the special insoles. I go 13 hours roughly on concrete and go home feeling half decent and I'm 250lbs.

I work indoors. These will never see the elements outdoors. But I work around soap. The scratches are coming from kicking down the pallet lock with my foot.

Yes. I understand these are boots and made for work. But is something like this superficial? My question about cleaning is that I saw a video where the dude just scrubs them with dawn dish soap. Is this an acceptable way to clean them?

Just bought a bike.

Repost because I screwed up the title of the last one lol.

Just bought this diamondback for $75. It's not super used at all, the guy said he got tired of saying he was going to ride it and never actually doing so. The tires have a couple of cracks here and there, so I definitely need to learn how to take care of that and how replacing bicycle tires works.

It's been a long time since I've owned one. I bought it because I filed bankruptcy and my commute is 3.5 miles away. Even in the summer they have showers to use before I go in for my shift if I work up a sweat. They are going to take my car and I just want to turn it into the dealer and forget about it. Eventually I want to get a scooter or a Honda Navi for the commute, but who knows maybe I'll stick with just the bike. The point is I have something now.

I bought a light for the front and back and a helmet. The chain feels a little loose. I definitely need to figure out the shifting and basic riding stuff since I was a teenager when I used to ride bikes. Some basic maintenance. Im sure there are a ton of videos, and I plan to watch them, but any advice is appreciated especially with the commute.

The commute is pretty flat the entire way and there is even a back way I can take into work. I'll practice the route a few times before my car goes. When I leave the neighborhood though for a quarter of a mile I'm on a back road that has a down hill, and then an uphill, with a turn. This is where my concern will be because of traffic. I plan to grab a safety vest from work to help with this. But any other safety advice is appreciated.

My last goodbye to this beast.

This has been THE most reliable thing I've ever owned, period. 2021 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid. Let's show her some love. 245K miles and sadly, very sadly, my loan was a bad deal from negative equity from the beginning. Ive filed chapter 7 and I'm going to return it to the dealer tomorrow.

Never left me stranded once. Has never not started. Had a weak start around 200k miles and drove it to Walmart to swap the battery out.

Tires, brakes, fluid swaps. Thing still drives great with only doing wheel hubs.

I'm very sad to let it go. I've left a love letter in the glove box for whoener ends up with it next and decided to check it. I just want them to know she was well loved.

Considering one of these over a car.

Hello. I randomly started looking at scooters and hit up the dealer locally to me and he told me about the Navi and I must say I'm genuinely interested. The low ride height just seems perfect for the worries I've always had with motorcycles.

My commute is 3.5 miles, on a 35mph road that turns into a 40mph rd. No crazy hills really except when you start a small one. I'm a bigger guy but not tall, 5 ft 6 and I weigh 250lbs.

I filed bankruptcy recently, and something like this just seems perfect for me to get over a new car. I can buy it outright and just park it right in my garage.

I'm just wondering will something like this be impractical for a guy of my size? Not worried how I'll look. But also is it practical for my commute? And then how would you guys feel about taking this thing if it was raining? What about raining heavily? I see you can get a wind screen for it. What do you do about clothing getting soaked?

Thanks for any advice. It's much appreciated.

Rotating shifts.

I work rotating shifts. Am I allowed to be here or do I have to leave? Anyone else work rotating shifts?

I'm five months into more than likely many many more years to come. 7-7:30 just flips between AM and PM.

You can have a post / page on Facebook that is an obvious scam. Completely with AI video clips and straight up lying about being handmade and whatever else.

You can report these pages, and, NOTHING happens.

Honestly, it's enough for me to delete my Facebook once and for all and never be part of it again. I really don't feel right or okay with the fact that I'm a part of a platform where people are allowed to straight up scam people.

Edit: biggest reason I don't leave is marketplace
