Am I Bad At The Game For Resorting To This?

After multiple failed attempts and getting very frustrated, I just didn’t want to to deal with this and decided to switch to assist mode for the first and hopefully last time.

But I’m asking myself “Am I bad because of I had to resort to that?”

Running For 35 Years And Beyond

For 35 years, Sonic has made his impact on the world winning the hearts of millions around the world just like many other video game characters. Despite the franchises’s many lows over the years, Sonic is still relevant after all these years and is in his best spot in 15 years.

It’s a great time to be a Sonic fan now and I’m glad to still be a fan of it after all these years.

The DownPlay Here Is Ludicrous

So a few months ago on discord, I responded to phenomenal artwork and gave my thoughts on who beats who and it didn’t go well.

It got worse after Cell Vs Metal Sonic Death Battle was announced. Should I make a post regarding that fiasco?

The Amazing Digital Circus Final Ranking

So… I give that a 7.5-8/10 if I have to be honest. Most of if not all my complaints still hold some weight.

But overall… despite my issues, this series definitely is a great one.

I remember saying in a post that I wasn’t the biggest fan of the finale and that’s.. true to an extent. I had many issues with it and my criticisms still stand, but just because I wasn’t the biggest fan of it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy it because.. well, I enjoyed it for the most part.

Definitely my favorite Glitch Productions series so far. Yes I’ve seen all four of the full shows.

This Is My Least Favorite Galaxy In The Game So Far

I believe the prankster comet in this level is straight up impossible and I don’t know how to beat it. There’s no time to get every coin and the gravity is out of your control and I think the time limit makes it straight up impossible.

The Character Usage In This Show Bothers Me

If there’s something that bothers me about this show, it’s the character usage.

I have no idea how a character focused show managed to screw this up, but here we are.

Pomni didn’t really get much despite being one of the main characters. All we know about her is that she was an accountant at a super market and she records videos in abandoned buildings. I really wish there was something interesting about her, but unfortunately there isn’t.

Kinger unfortunately is just a plot device which sucks because he’s definitely one of the best characters in the show. At first I thought he could’ve been a wise kind of character, but outside of a moment with Pomni in episode 3 and another moment with Ragatha in episode 6, he’s either funny or just to give lore dumps and be a plot device. He’s not bad, but I wasn’t a fan of how he ended up being a plot device.
Gangle at first was interesting, but after episode 4 they didn’t really do anything with her outside of her relationship with Zooble.

Speaking of Zooble, it sucks that they didn’t get a dedicated episode and didn’t get much besides their relationship with Gangle.

Ragatha ended being shafted hard. Not only did she end up not getting the development she deserved, but the community ended up hating her because she rightfully called out Jax on his BS? I’ve never understood the hate for Ragatha and it’s no secret she got shafted.

Caine is an interesting one. An AI who can’t really understand feelings. That was interesting to watch unfold and the build up to his inevitable crash out was handled well, but the finale did him dirty by making him return, somehow getting access to the internet and just getting rid of the blue AI like nothing? His redemption felt so rushed I believe it was added last minute or something.

I don’t know what to say about Bubble. No comments.

Jax however, is the only character I actually hate. Not only is he just insufferable, but he shows no remorse for anything for most of the show. His backstory was being set up since episode 5 and when it finally revealed, it ends up being nothing too special and him abstracting at the end undermines his development in episodes 7 and 8.

This show isn’t bad at all. In fact, I enjoyed it, but now this show handled its characters is something that continues to bother me and I’m probably not the only one who thinks this.

I’m Not A Fan Of The Finale, But I’m Afraid Of Saying My Reasons

Honestly, this finale has had me worried ever since it was announced. I wondered “Will be it all be satisfying or will it just be another Murder Drones situation?”

Unfortunately, I was spoiled sometime ago and eventually came across this subreddit. Now the finale is out in theaters, I think I can give my thoughts on this.

I have many problems with this finale.

Jax abstracting pretty much takes his character development and throws it in the trash. Not to mention he takes so much screen time to the point that everyone else doesn’t get any well deserved attention, but the episode keeps switching back and forth between making him irredeemable and sympathetic. Am I supposed to care about him or not?

Caine comes back with no absolutely no explanation and he gets a redemption arc quite literally out of nowhere. It just boils down to ”Hey I had this blue ai that made me do evil shit, I got rid of it and everything’s all okay now.” To make things worse, he gets no consequences for any of his actions meaning episodes 7 and 8 don’t mean shit anymore.

The whole brain scan thing being cannon.. am I the only one who thinks that this undermines the entire series? It just leaves more questions than answers and basically all of the stakes don’t matter? Everything about this just feels incredibly rushed and the characters just seem okay by this? Now I’m just confused about what abstraction even is supposed to be anymore because it’s clearly not resembling death at all so what exactly is it? I don’t even know anymore.

Also there‘s a lot of unanswered questions such as “What even is C&A?” “How is this simulation still running after all these years?” “How did Caine get access to their brain scans and access to the internet?” There’s probably more unanswered stuff, but you get my point.

Now that I’ve said all of my issues with the finale, do you all think I’m just insane and stupid and someone I just don’t understand this finale?

People are loving this finale which.. good for them, but I feel like I’m alone with these problems with the finale. There are things to like about it, but the amount of issues overshadowed the good.

This is just like Murder Drones all over again. Both Murder Drones and The Amazing Digital Circus’s finales have the exact same pros and cons. They both have phenomenal animation, great music and outstanding voice acting, but then both suffer from bad writing, terrible pacing, poor usage of characters and everything is just extremely inconsistent.

Again, am I just too stupid to understand how people are loving this finale? Am I just insane for saying all of this? Am I only one who had these issues?

I was afraid of saying my thoughts on the finale because people would just give me more hate and insult me for not understanding the finale.

Planet Namek Saga EZA’s/Super EZA’s That Can Potentially Save The Category.

Seriously if the devs handle all these characters right alongside a new summonable Goku and Frieza that are crazy good, then Planet Namek Saga can be saved. If GT Bosses can get a massive redemption and so can Planet Namek Saga.
