I've been collabing with a fellow streamer recently but an issue is that her voice sounds robotic on my stream? But I when I went into premier pro to edit it into a video and deleted track 1 suddenly her voice sounds normal?

This is how I use my audio tracks btw:
TRACK 1: Shove everything in there (so it appears on stream)
TRACK 2: My Microphone
TRACK 3: Game Audio
TRACK 4: Discord Audio (my friend)

For streaming, OBS only uses one track, right? so why is my friends audio being deepfried...

If I wanted to stream with another PNGtuber, how would I make mine show up on their screen? Or vice versa? I can't really find any tutorial for this that works.

For recording (outside of streaming) I use track 1 for game audio and track 2 for my microphone, so I can lower and raise volume during editing as needed.

Twitch, however, only uses track 1. I am unfortunately very forgetful and sometimes don't set my microphone to track 1 sometimes so my viewers will just see my PNGTuber yap with no audio and have to tell me.

Is there any way for me to make audio track 1 & 2 part of the stream and part of the VOD so I don't have to keep switching tracks? or is it impossible?

CONTEXT

My main thing is youtube and twitch is a secondary thing. I wanted to use a stream from today and turn it into a video- however, I have a twitch + youtube chat overlay as well as a little pngtuber fella, which I don't want to be in the recorded footage that I use for my video.

To dumb it down:

I want to stream: chat overlay, pngtuber, gameplay

I want to record: just gameplay

WHAT I TRIED

I saw some people say to download OBS as a zip and then turn it into a 'portable instance', according to OBS's own website you do this by adding a "portable_mode" file into the OBS folder (the unzipped one). Despite this, when I tried to use game capture on my app version and my folder, portable one, my game did not show up on the portable one.

Apologies if what I wrote makes no sense, I am not very tech savvy :(

My friend and I want to play the TBS Mod but for some reason, she can't even launch vanilla minecraft with prism launcher. Official launcher works, but we tried prism launcher and modrinth and neither works.

For some reason using sodium lets her launch it but the second she tries to start/open a world it crashes. PLEASE HELP We've been trying to figure this out for 3 hours!!!

Again, she can run minecraft on the official launcher just fine so it can't be a specs issue right?

I turned on my PC today and tried to connect to the wi-fi. It showed itself to be connected with 3 bars yet nothing that required an internet connection loaded. I shrugged it off because the wi-fi connection my PC has on its own can be wacky sometimes.

I wire connect my phone to my PC (I use USB tethering when I need stable wi-fi) and... It doesn't work? I try to use tethering but with HotSpot and that doesn't work either.

I've already tried lots of things. Turning my Wi-Fi on and on, running network tests, restarting my adaptors, Network reset... I'm at a loss as to what the issue could be. It was working just fine yesterday! I'm freaking out here!! 😭😭😭

The weird thing is that my PC claims it IS connecting to the Wi-Fi (shows 3 bars out of 4 which is typical) but can't even load YouTube. Claims I am offline.

When I try to connect via USB Tethering, the ethernet icon blinks for a while (which is weird. It usually only takes a second or two to connect), eventually becomes white, says it's connected, but nothing works.

I'm genuinely at a loss and freaking out. I have things I need to do!

Edit: I have tried system restore point, disabling and enabling drivers. I've been told the VPN I use (Proton) may be the issue but it won't even open. It shows up in task manager for like 6 seconds maybe before it dies.

Edit 2: VPN might not be the problem because all of its services are shut down?

Edit 3: The issue was INDEED the VPN. My VPN got corrupted somehow and cut off my internet access.

The solution was to grab the installer on my laptop, transfer it to my PC and reinstall the VPN.

I don't need help anymore but I'm going to leave this post up just in case someone will need it in the future.

I started youtube just about three months ago and growth has been slow and steady (I'm just 8 subs away from hitting 100 :D) but it has started to feel kind of isolating in a way?

I do have a friend that does Youtube as well but he does tutorial videos while my channel consists of game stuff so, you know... not very much in common there. He also has a significantly larger subscriber count than I do so not much in common there either.

I am also acquaintances with another guy who has a good following on youtube, but he mainly covers valorant and other online comp games... I cover mostly horror vns or anything else in the horror genre.

So I don't really know any other small youtubers that share the same niche as me. I think it would be neat to have a little group (maybe we could even make videos together? :D) but I don't even know where I would look or how I would look.
