Is it bad to use training bullets in handguns, is dry fire better?

Is it bad to use training bullets in handguns, is dry fire better?

Hello friends.

I just bought some training bullets on Amazon for my 9mm pistols.

I would like to know if these bullets are not recommended to use. I wonder if it is possible that these bullets could create premature wear of other parts, or could cause some type of failure in the future.

Is it better to dry fire with 9mm, or is it better to use training bullets so that the firing pin suffers less when dry firing at home?

Or, on the contrary, will it create other wear problems by extracting the bullet over and over again?

Thanks in advance and sorry for my noob questions.

The bullets are these by the way:

I'm using CachyOS, how do I get version 6.7 of the KDE desktop that has already been released?

Hi friends.

I'd like to know why the new KDE 6.7 version isn't showing up in my CachyOS updates.

I usually update using "paru" in the console, but no new KDE-related packages appear.

DE: KDE Plasma 6.6.5

If this is true, does it mean that open-source image generation models have caught up with the best closed-source models in the world?

This means that open-source models have reached (or almost reached) the level of closed-source models, right?

This is a major step forward for open-source models.

I've been trying to replicate this Anima V1.0 image all day but I can't manage it. Maybe I need a special workflow or something?

If CivitAI says that Anima was used, it's because it's possible to create that image with Anima, right?

Source: https://civitai.red/images/131490478

The workflow doesn't even work when I paste it into ComfyUI.

Do you think AMD/ROCm has a future where it's viable to use with ComfyUI, etc., and can be real competition against Nvidia? Or will Nvidia/CUDA simply remain the only compatible option in the short to medium term? Would it be better to buy Nvidia now, wait for the RTX 6000 series, or give up on AMD?

Hi friends.

I'm using Linux and I'd like to know what the best decision would be regarding choosing a GPU in the medium to long term.

What do you think the future holds for AMD and Nvidia in terms of using image generation models in ComfyUI?

Should I give up all hope on AMD? Because I'm using Linux, and AMD's open-source drivers work better on Linux.

I know that the best setup right now is Windows + Nvidia + CUDA.

I'm using Linux, so I guess I'm stuck in this situation. If I buy an AMD card, ComfyUI won't work as well as it does with CUDA. But if I buy an Nvidia card, I'd almost have to switch to Windows, and I'm not going to do that.

So, what's the best alternative? Should I wait for the RTX 6000 series to come out in a couple of years, buy an Nvidia card, and use it on Linux?

Or perhaps I should wait for the next generation of AMD gpus; maybe ROCm will improve and be more compatible with ComfyUI?

Although I understand that CUDA memory management and drivers are different and inferior in Linux, and besides, most of the ComfyUI infrastructure, and AI in general, is built entirely using CUDA.

So I think it's a dead end?

What do you think?

Can Anima Base v1.0 handle size and scaling, such as two characters of different sizes? For example, can a human character grab/catch a Tinker Bell-sized fairy with their hand?

Hi friends.

I'm experimenting with a lot of things using my current favorite anime model, Anima Base v1.0.

I'm pretty much a noob, but I'm learning a lot from you all, the users of this subreddit, especially regarding prompts.

I'd like to know if Anima can properly handle the sizes of two or more characters.

I'm trying to make it so that one character can grab/catch a smaller character, like a fairy, for example, Tinker Bell from Peter Pan.

As you can see, sometimes it seems to work, but not perfectly. I'm using Anima's Turbo-Lora, but I don't think this will negatively affect the results, right?

The prompt I've used is quite basic, but I don't know if this could be a problem with Anima. It's this one:

masterpiece, best quality, score_9, score_8, newest, absurdres, highres,

A masterpiece of illustration of Hyper-realistic ultra-detailed illustration, extremely detailed illustration, cinematic realism, volumetric lighting, 8k quality,

souryuu asuka langley, neon genesis evangelion, 1girl, blue eyes, hair between eyes, long hair, orange hair, brown hair, two side up, medium breasts, plugsuit, plugsuit, pilot suit, red bodysuit, interface headset of normal size holds the tiny tinker bell \(disney\), peter pan \(disney\), 1girl, pointy ears, blue eyes, blonde hair, single hair bun, short hair, medium breasts, green dress, fairy wings, fairy wings, fairy, in her hand,

Does anyone have any information on when Amina-Turbo will be released?

Hi friends.

While checking the latest version of Anima, I saw a message saying that Anima-Turbo will be released soon.

But does anyone know how long it might take? Does a base model, trained for a faster Turbo version, usually take a long time?

I'm asking out of ignorance. Because I'd like to know if models normally take many months to be released, or not.

I have to pretend I hate image generation AI to avoid getting banned or insulted on 99% of Reddit or the internet, even though Stable Diffusion is actually what I like and am most excited about right now. Why do people hate AI so much, especially image generation AI?

I'm not even saying I care if they know the difference between open-source and closed-source image-generating AI, or if they insult me or not.

What I want to know is why so many people hate AI, especially image-generating AI.

At first, I thought it only bothered artists. Then I thought it might also bother those who are afraid of not being able to distinguish AI from reality.

But it's practically 99% of people who hate AI, and I just can't understand why.

For example, I've been using Blender for years. I learned to model, sculpt, and animate as an amateur. Thanks to AI, things that used to take me months now take me seconds. Isn't that supposed to be a good thing?

I don't feel bad or like I've wasted my time using Blender; I simply feel fortunate to have found a better tool for what I needed.

EDIT 1: When I say "Stable Diffusion" I mean the open source model community, all models, not "SD" specifically.

What's wrong with my Anima Official + Loras Workflow? The images don't look like the ones you guys make

Hi friends.

My images in Anima don't turn out like the ones you guys create here or in Civitai, even using the same LoRas.

I'm using Anima preview 3, which uses 30 steps, GCF 4, euler_a + simple, 1024x1024 (it can use tags and natural language if I'm not mistaken):

Anima [Official]

https://civitai.red/models/2458426/anima-official?modelVersionId=2836417

For some reason, Anima preview doesn't seem to look as good as Illustrious (maybe it's my imagination or my clumsiness in creating prompts correctly).

So I decided to add this LoRa:

Anima Highres/Aesthetic Boost

https://civitai.red/models/2540444/anima-highresaesthetic-boost?modelVersionId=2855073

But it takes me about 12 minutes per image (my PC is a potato), so I decided to use this LoRa that only takes 1-2 minutes with 8/12/24 steps, GCF 1:

Anima Turbo LoRA

https://civitai.red/models/2560840/anima-turbo-lora?modelVersionId=2877687

But I still can't get the results I see in Civitai. My images look flat with thick lines; they don't have the super-detailed illustration style that Civitai uses. Also, according to Civitai's metadata, they only use 12 steps.

Is this my skill issue, bad prompts, and poor workflow configuration, or is it that Anima Preview 3 still isn't at the level of Illustrious in most final renders?

Thanks in advance.

Example of images I want to make:

What is this song at 0:24? It's a metal song and it sounds like a woman's voice yelling "wohohohowoho".

I'm a complete idiot, I forgot to mount the game's hard drive, everything works perfectly.

Hi friends.

I'm using CachyOS Arch KDE with a GTX 1050 Ti.

I was playing Black Myth: Wukong several times until yesterday without any problems. I played it on Steam, as a non-Steam game installed in my Steam library, using Proton-CachyOS.

I always use Proton-CachyOS for all my games, whether they're Steam or non-Steam. They've always worked perfectly.

This morning I updated with "paru," and the packages I'll show below were updated. Now, when I launch any game, something called "Steam Linux Runtime 4.0" downloads, and none of my games start.

I've removed all the prefixes and restarted the game to recreate them, but none of my games will launch.

I know this happened because of the update, but I don't know what I broke.

This is the update I did today that broke something:

Hi friends.

An hour ago, a user posted these beautiful room images. I really liked them and got excited. I wanted to know what prompts and models he used so I could try to replicate them.

He said he had to go take a dump; apparently, he had diarrhea, so he was going to be delayed. But then, when I checked the thread again, it was gone:

https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/1t1kres/anipartment/

All my hopes of finding out what prompts and models he had used were gone.

I showed a friend the first eight images to show him what I wanted to replicate, so that's how I was able to recover them.

If you read the original thread, a user says it wasn't made with open-source models. So now I'm having doubts.

Does that mean that open-source models (basically all those in CivitAI and HuggingFace) can't reach this level of detail?

I'd like to do this in Anima Preview 3, since it's one of the few models that still works on my potato PC.

Hola amigos.

Al seleccionar un modelo en la web de Civitai.com y pulsar en "Download", aparece el mensaje de LaLiga.

He probado cambiando DNS y no funciona.
