makeup gift recommendations

hi! I'm planning to make makeup kits for my friends and would love some recommendations on what else I can include.

So far, my list includes

Fashion 21 multi-palettes

sunscreens

Enchante powder blushes

I've already given them lip products before, so I'm thinking of other things to add. I'm also considering mascara, but I prefer everyday mascaras that aren't super waterproof and are easy to remove.

What other makeup would you recommend adding to their kits? I'd love suggestions for affordable products that are worth the money, especially mascaras for everyday use. Any recos are appreciated. Thank youuu

Looking for an affordable alternative to r.e.m. beauty Cherry Cola

I really like the shade of the r.e.m. beauty Cherry Cola Glossy Balm, but it’s pretty expensive for a gloss/balm, and I don’t think I can justify spending that much on one

Does anyone know of similar shades from local brands or other affordable brands? I’m looking for that sheer, glossy cherry-cola shade. It doesn’t have to be a local brands only, brands like NYX, e.l.f., Maybelline, etc. are totally fine as long as they’re relatively affordable and accessible here

thank youu!!!

Sunnies Face Lip Glaze vs Vice Cosmetics Showgloss

I’ve been eyeing both of these and I can’t decide which one to get. So for those who have tried both Sunnies Face Lip Glaze and Vice Cosmetics Showgloss, which one do you prefer and WHY?

I’m mainly curious about, shine/glassiness, hydration, texture.. is it sticky or comfortable?, pigmentation/shade selection and which one is more worth the price?

Basically, if you could only keep one, which one wins the gloss battle? thank youuuu

Beginner retinol recommendations for a 23-year-old?

hi! I'm 23 and I've been researching retinol for days, but now I'm just confused. 😭

some people keep saying I'm still too young to start, while others say it's totally fine and that some people even use retinoids in their teens for acne. So... which is it?

I have oily skin with clogged pores, occasional breakouts, and acne marks, and I'm thinking of adding retinol to my routine. Do you guys think it's worth starting at 23, or should I wait?

if yes, what beginner-friendly retinol would you recommend? and any tips on how to start without messing up my skin barrier? thanks in advance!

Best mid-range Android phone right now?

hi! I'm looking for a mid-range Android phone and I honestly don't know what to get. I mainly want something with a really good camera for photos and videos, good battery life, and something that's very worth it. I'm open to Samsung, Xiaomi, OPPO, Honor, Vivo, or any other brand. Budget is around the mid-range category. What's the best one you've used? Any phones you'd recommend (or avoid)? thanks!

having second thoughts buying BLK x BASH collection (DIM)

I'm having second thoughts about getting the BLK x Bash collection. It looks so cute, but I don't know if it's actually worth it. I'm especially unsure about the brushes since I already have a good brush set. I'm also eyeing the blush, the foundation stick and the primer with SPF. The organizer is super cute too, but it looks kind of small, so I'm not sure if it's practical or if I just like how it looks. For those planning to buy or skip the collection, what are your thoughts? The online launch is on July 30, so I'm trying to decide before checking out.

simple skincare routine for oily skin + closed comedones?

I have oily skin and I'm looking for a simple skincare routine (not too many steps). I also have closed comedones on my forehead that won't go away. What's your routine, and what products actually helped with oily skin and closed comedones?

Hair fall is getting worse, any tips?

Lately I've been noticing a lot more hair fall. Even when I don't brush or touch my hair much, strands keep falling out. I don't know if it's because of the heat or becauseI'm stressing lately and lack of sleep as well. I've been taking 21st Century Biotin 10,000 mcg, but I haven't noticed much difference yet. I also don't want to use minoxidil. Has anyone experienced this? What actually helped reduce your hair fall? any advice and tips are appreciated thanks!

First time wearing contact lenses and they literally fall out when I blink

This is my first time trying contact lenses, so I have no idea if I'm doing something wrong. I bought Dcart contact lenses, and every time I put them in, they literally fall out of my eyes whenever I blink. I have pretty big eyes, so I don't know is it because of that? Could I be putting them in wrong? Are they inside out, the wrong size, or just poor quality? Has anyone experienced this before? Any tips would be appreciated!

Best way to share internet between two nearby houses?

We're planning to get Converge, but we have two houses beside each other and we'd like to share one internet connection instead of getting a second installation. We both work from home, so we need a fast and reliable connection all the time.

I asked Converge about mesh, but they said they don't offer it. I'm not sure if buying my own mesh will work or if I should be looking at something else.

Has anyone here done a similar setup? What internet pr meron kayo? saka please give me some tips and solution for this helppp 😭🙏🏻

Curious lang, do eye patches and under-eye creams actually make a noticeable difference?

Goal ko sana magkaroon ng brighter and healthier-looking under eyes by the end of the year. Hindi naman sobrang dark yung akin, pero gusto ko talaga siyang ma-improve.

Sa mga naka-achieve ng noticeable results, ano yung nag-work sa inyo? Eye patches ba, eye cream, retinol, caffeine, vitamin C, or ibang products? Paano routine niyo, gaano katagal bago niyo nakita yung difference, and anong products marerecommend niyo?

Open to both local and international products. Gusto ko lang malaman kung ano talaga yung worth the money at hindi puro hype. 🫶

MP2 Savings application – If I choose "Savings/Deposits" as my source of funds, how much should be in my bank account?

I'm planning to open a Pag-IBIG MP2 Savings account.

If I choose "Savings" as my source of funds does anyone know if there's a minimum amount that should be reflected in my bank statement for the application to be approved? for ex. is a 20k reflected balance in a bank statement enough?

I'm wondering if Pag-IBIG looks for a specific maintaining balance or if they just want to see that the funds are legitimately mine. Has anyone here successfully opened an MP2 account using savings or a bank statement as proof of source of funds?

Is ice buildup on a freezer of a No Frost refrigerator floor normal?

Hi!!

I recently bought a brand new Panasonic No Frost Inverter refrigerator (NR-BP242VS).

I plugged it in around 11:00 AM and waited about 3 hours before putting containers of water in the freezer to make ice. The refrigerator was set to 5, and the airflow control was set to Normal.

Later, after 10 hours, when I checked one of the containers on the second freezer shelf, I noticed that a small amount of ice/frost had formed on the bottom floor of the freezer compartment. The frost/ice is only on part of the freezer floor and not near the door. But the first layer or tray doesn't have any ice buildup.

Since this is a No Frost refrigerator, I'm wondering if this is normal during the first day of operation while the refrigerator is cooling down, or if it's something I should be concerned about. I also checked the water tray/container at the back of the refrigerator, where I thought defrost water would collect, but it has no water in it.

Has anyone with a Panasonic No Frost Inverter refrigerator experienced this when their unit was brand new? Did the frost/ice disappear on its own after a day or two?

Thank youuu!!!
