Would you rather be a swordmaster who has a black blade, have an awakened devil fruit that perfectly suits you, be an admiral, or be a celestial dragon and live an easy and comfortable life while having some of the most powerful people to your disposal?

Both the sword master and devil fruit user have to be actively looking for the one piece
As a Celestial Dragon you can try to create reforms to make for a better political society
As an Admiral you may create a separate sect of marines that operate by a different ethical standard.

Who would win in a war, The Isle of Berk at its peak full of dragons or old Valyria at its peak full of dragons?

To make this work, they're both as far away from each other as Ireland would be from England, so 264 miles right across from each other with water in between them as well.
There is no mercy allowed, only a complete crushing victory.
Berk is not allowed to use the cheap tactic of setting off the volcanoes in Valyria to have it do all the work for them.
Neither side can use any magic.
No dragons exceeding 300 feet in length, over 100 feet in height, and more than 40 feet in body width (not wingspan width) is allowed.
No dragons untamed are allowed.
