Thieves at Country Max on Ridge

These upstanding citizens stole around 9 bags of dog food from Country Max in Spencerport this afternoon. If you know them, shame them. If you don’t know them, be on the lookout for someone selling dog food online…with a nice newer car like that you’d think they wouldn’t be so cheap as to steal, much less right in front of employees.

You all know what I’m talking about. Trying to get ANY information over the phone from FedEx.
First, there is calling their 800 number(s) and trying to talk to a real live human. Next is being told the number you called isn’t the right department, but the CSR somehow doesn’t know the number to the correct department of the company they work for.

If you haven’t given up or suffered an aneurism at this point, and you’ve finally gotten the right person on the phone, they:

- are almost guaranteed to not be in the US, or if they are, they have such a deep ethnic accent you can’t understand half of what they say (this is not hating on immigrants or immigration. They all need jobs too, and good on them for getting this one) HOWEVER, If you are going to have a call center servicing a primarily English speaking country, you should hire people that your customers can understand.)

- they ask for every bit of detail about the shipment: recipient name and address, YOUR name and address. I just want to find out where the my shipment is, or why it’s held up in customs. I ship 100’s sometimes thousands of packages a week and call based on TRACKING numbers that haven’t delivered. You might as well ask for copies of my W-2 and my first born’s name and SSN.

I had an easier time filling out mortgage applications and closing on my house.

Don’t even get me started on the bi-polar aspect of FedEx ground not being the same company and FedEx Express, but wait, now they are but FedEx Ground Freight is separate. Make up your minds or just sell to UPS. At least then your drivers will be unionized and not private contractors.

30 years of shipping and logistics and this is easily the worst run company I have ever dealt with.

Ok. Rant over. Carry on.
