Choosing your own hard

I work sa Manila, sila nasa probinsya. Sobrang naiiyak ako everytime nag uusap kami via video call.

Bakit kasi kailangan maging working mom.

Kaso need mag work eh.

Sa mga OFW moms, how do you cope? Ang hirap. Sobra.

Na-realize ko what keeps me sane is lifting weights, running, and physically tiring my body out. Para at the end of the day, sobrang pagod ko na, my body would be too numb to feel. Tulog agad. Bagsak. No tears.

What swimsuit brand?

Hi! Any two-piece swimwear brand recos?

I have a CS scar na keloid pa so preferably high waist yung bottom.

I'm flat chested so yung snug and fits very well para kahit anong galaw hindi mahuhulog. Lol I'm size EU 36

First time ko mag two-piece kaya hirap mamili at maghanap hehe

Nag try ako maghanap sa shopee, IG, etc but I'm too overwhelmed sa dami.

Vulnerability

Posting here kasi I find this sub to be insightful. Baka may advice po kayo for someone who's in her mid 30s. Hehe

As a breadwinner myself, sobrang hirap ako maging vulnerable or let my guards down sa harap ng loved ones.

Financial provider ako ng immediate family ko and partly my parents. Kapag may problema ako, I don't turn to them. Instead, I keep it to myself and try my best to hold it together and solve the issue.

Even if I'm feeling sad or not my best self, I can't be transparent to them and just be me. Ang hirap.

Feeling ko as a panganay, kailangan ko din ng someone whom I can be vulnerable at the end of day. Kahit ate, or kuya.

I noticed din na I do not cry in front of other people. Sometimes I noticed na I keep a straight face whenever faced with problems. Hehe

Ganito din ba kayo? How do you handle this?

Basically, I need an outlet to channel whatever I'm feeling right now. There goes my next task - to find an outlet (hindi saksakan ah. Char, ok stop na lol)

Thank you all 💞🥹

To buy or not to buy

This may be a rant, or asking for an advice. Regardless, grateful if you could share your thoughts.

I'm 35, hubs is 42. Currently renting in the province and this house recently has been offered to us at a good price. We've been renting eversince, previously lived in Metro Manila and now, here.

The thing is, I can't decide if buying this property would be a good decision in the future. In 15 years (assuming loan has matured), our kids would be in their 20s. We would be empty nesters by then. Our kids would probably be elsewhere - working or studying.

This house is almost 300sqm, near the palengke, hospital, etc, is accessible given na we live in the province.

I'm conflicted because I can't picture out in my head yet what the future would look like living here. If we buy this, our lives would be less flexible. We can't just decide to live elsewhere anymore. We need to consider pa the rennovations, the upkeep, etc.

I asked chatgpt to help me come up with the right questions to make a decision. Attaching the screenshot here too.

Posted this in this sub kasi baka may naka-expetience na sa inyo ng ganito? Hehe

Sorry if I'm rambling too.

Hindi ako binilhan ng chicken breast

We've been together for 10 years. He knows that I only eat the breast part sa chicken, I tell him that. And every time may kainan, I pick the breast part and he would always comment na "walang lasa" or "dry yan eh".

So today, I asked him to buy raw chicken since fried chicken ang uulamin. Nung luto na, I asked him if thigh and leg part lang ba binili niya and he said yes. Sabi niya next time daw.

Hehe and I noticed din sa mga maliliit na bagay, he doesn't pay attention to my wants and the kids' preferences. Kung ano masarap na food for him, expectation is masarap din sa lahat.

But here I am, pag grocery, bumibili ng Picnic atbp paborito niyang snacks. Alam ko na ayaw niya ng cake and prefers ice cream more.

The little things count a lot. Idk, but the chicken breast ulam hit hard today. Call me OA or whatever, pero kasi...Ahehe

Ayun lang. Sana masarap ulam niyong lahat 💞🫰🏼

House and Lot - first time buyer

Planning to buy the current house and lot which we are renting in right now. The owner agreed to sell it to us, pero kami daw mag aayos ng transfer of title. We reside in the province and I have a couple of questions:

  1. What paperwork do we need to do? Do we need to hire a broker for that?

  2. Planning to course it through bank financing.

- Which banks have the best fixed interest rate and tenor for now? Just inquired with BPI and they are offering 7.95% fixed for 10yrs.

- If bank financing, how does that go? Will the bank pay the seller the property's selling price?

These are my thoughts, but would love to have your insights.

Do you still passionately kiss?

For those who are married and those who have partners, when you make love, do you still kiss passionately?

I've asked my friends and I got mixed answers. Haha most say they just do the deed and skip the kissing part.

So I wanted to ask here.

EDIT: Thanks for the insights!

Turns out, hindi pala normal yun lol thank you for enlightening me lol
