I’ve been using a paper account and it often happens when I do a direct order instead of a limit order that it takes a while for the order to be filled and it gets filled way higher/lower than where I placed it. Is there a way to avoid this or should I only stick to limit orders?

With how much some stocks have taken off I’m becoming more careful and have sold some/won’t touch them until they have pulled back enough to give a good entry point. I’m sitting on quite a lot of cash now so I have been looking into stocks that haven’t taken off recently.
My favorites that I’ve been adding to are ampx & asts. Also got some hovr and watching hood & gev for an entry.

Basically the title, I’ve backtested it on a few assets and it seems to have a pretty high win rate so I’m wondering what other people using orb trade
