Trying to support my boyfriend without making him feel pressured 19F 23M

My boyfriend 23M and I 19F are in a long distance relationship, and we’ve only recently gotten into a serious relationship, so we’re still figuring out how to communicate when something is bothering us

I happened to come across one of his Reddit posts by accident, and from what he wrote it seems like he’s been struggling with motivation and exhaustion lately. He never brought this up to me directly and I don’t think he knows that I saw it

He works in a government sector and his schedule can be pretty exhausting. Lately he keeps telling me that he’s tired or sleepy and I’ve noticed that he seems to have very little energy outside of work. Whenever he tells me he’s tired I usually just tell him to take a nap, get some rest, or relax, cuz I don’t want to overwhelm him or make him feel like he has to talk about something before he’s ready

The thing is I have a feeling he’s struggling with more than just being physically tired, but he hasn’t actually talked to me about it. And I don’t want to push him into opening up, especially since our relationship is still pretty new. I feel like it’s normal for someone to not immediately share every struggle with their partner especially early on

For those of you who’ve been in long distance relationships or worked exhausting schedules, what’s the best way to support someone like this without making them feel pressured? Should I keep things light and just be there for him, or is there a better way to let him know I’m here if something is actually bothering him?

I genuinely want to help but I also don’t want him to feel like I’m trying to fix him or force him to talk. And obviously I don’t want to reveal that I came across his Reddit post either
Thank you

We’re so in love, but the long distance starting to drain me mentally

Hey everyone,
You know how people always say "out of sight, out of mind"? I’ve never believed in that. Love just hits you when you least expect it, and you don't get to choose who your heart picks

But guys... LDR are so damn hard:( I’m completely head over heels in love with my boyfriend. We live in two completely different countries literally over 5,000 miles apart. We love each other so much, but life is just getting in the way right now

He’s drowning in work with super late hours (he barely gets a breather except on weekends), and I’m busy with university. The good news is, I’m actually planning to move to his state next year for my studies, but waiting for that day feels like an eternity

I’m struggling so hard with this feeling. All I want is just to be there with him. I want to hold him tight when he gets home from a exhausting day at work, let him rest in my arms, and have him hold me and kiss me when I’m feeling at my weakest. I want him so badly, and I don't even know how to properly put this ache into words

Because of this intense longing, my mind has started playing tricks on me. Even though I know he’s just insanely busy with work and even though he still makes the effort to talk to me and show me love whenever he can I’ve started having these irrational thoughts like, "What if he doesn't love me anymore? What if he lost feelings?"

It’s gotten to the point where I just break down and cry because I miss him so much and want him near me

Has anyone else in a long distance relationship ever felt this way? How do you cope with the overwhelming longing and the random overthinking when you're thousands of miles apart? I could really use some words of comfort or advice right now...:(

Need sisterly advice about my LDR boyfriend F21/M25

My boyfriend and I are in our early twenties, and we’ve only known each other for about a month or two. We fell in love so deeply and truly feel like soulmates because we share the exact same interests, mindset, and overall outlook on life. The thing is we’re in a long distance relationship and haven't actually met in person yet, but I'll be traveling to his state for work in the coming months, which will be our very first date irl

I’m just not sure if I’m rushing things or if he’s just a bit emotionally distant. He works as an EE in military aviation, and his shifts are super demanding to the point where he barely has 2 hours a day to unwind and talk to me. Still, he loves it when I chat with him during his work hours even if he can't always reply right away. Personally, I love constant affection and can be very emotional, but I’ve noticed a pattern when we talk. Early on he was upfront with me about being hypersexual and asked if I was fine with that which was okay with me at first. Whenever I say romantic things to him, his responses are pretty short, like "I'm working baby, I love you" or "you are soooo sweet babygirl, I love you and I hope that happens," without really matching my level of emotional warmth. But whenever the conversation turns sexual, even while he’s at work he gets super into it, chats a ton, goes away for a bit to work and comes right back to keep talking about it

At first I didn't think much of it but lately it’s really been bothering me and making me feel like I’m just being used. I love him so much, and honestly, he is so respectful, sweet, understanding, a great listener, always there for me, and never forces me into anything, leaving every choice completely up to me

I just don't know what to do. Should I bring this up with him over the weekend? Should I walk away despite loving him and feeling like he’s my soulmate? Am I overreacting because he was honest about being hypersexual from the beginning?
I’d really appreciate any advice from you guys, just pretend I’m your sister

Do military men so serious about marriage?

Me and my bf are dating for less than 1 month and he asked me to marry him! And tbh I'm surprised i felt its early but we really love each other so much and having fun together makes calls and share everything and he really nice, handsome, nerd, respectful and understanding person

And guess what we haven't met irl yet but ill be in his state next Nov

Is that something normal in military men? Or I should run?
I DO trust him btw

AIO for feeling like I’m being "too much" because my LDR military boyfriend’s texting style slightly changed?

Hey everyone,
I’m in a fairly new long distance relationship with my boyfriend, and we love each other deeply. We share the same interests and hit it off right away. He works in the Military AE

In the beginning, he used to shower me with love, support, and appreciation and honestly he still does. I do the same for him and always boost his morale. He’s a total green flag, super respectful, understanding, and never makes me feel less than. I strive to be a great partner to him as well

Lately though I’ve been feeling like I might be talking too much. Even though he keeps reassuring me telling me to keep sending tons of messages even when he’s asleep or at work and we literally share everything (deep conversations, daily updates, etc.), the past couple of days have felt a bit off to me.

I feel like I might be becoming a burden. He still says he loves me, wants to talk, and wishes I were there with him, but his messaging style has shifted slightly and not respond quickly like before. Instead of sending messages like "I love you sooooo much baby, I’m so glad you’re in my life I can't wait till marriage," he now sends shorter texts like "I love you," "It's okay babyyy," or "I miss my future wife."

AIO for overthinking this? Am I just being overly sensitive, or am I still learning how to navigate the emotional dynamics of dating someone in the military? Any advice or insight would be appreciated!
