Question for EV3 owners

With the launch of the EV3 in North America soon, I am considering buying/leasing one. I currently own a 2019 Kia e-Niro. One question I have for EV3 drivers is range related. When I bought my Niro, the EPA range estimate was 239 miles, but when I would charge it to 100% it would show over 300 miles of range routinely in the warmer months. My real world driving gave me somewhat close to that range. Do any here EV3 owners get longer range estimates than what the EPA estimates are when you charge the vehicle?\

Edit: Thank you all for your kind and insightful responses here. Keep 'em coming!

Huge Flood and my pedals/Amps/guitars

In our part of the country we had a biblical rain event this week, with over 14 inches falling in less than 22 hours. I went to my basement at 3pm to discover 14 inches of water EVERYwhere. The basement had been bone dry 90 minutes earlier. My 12 string Rickenbacker was in its case floating toward me. My 30 year old Lowden acoustic had taken on a bunch of water through the sound hole. All of my other guitars were above the waterline. Three of my amps, including the Top Hat pictured, were well under water. My pedal board was in its cheap Fender canvas case also floating.

A mad dash ensued and we got everything to higher ground. The pedals were damp but not completely submerged. Took them all apart and immediately got fans on them in a desperate attempt to save them.

Fast forward to today. After several days of drying, I started with the pedals and Voodoo power supply. Every single one of them worked perfectly. Kudos to Strymon, Origin Effects, RYRA, and a few others for their build quality! Moved on to the two amps, the Top Hat & my Fender Deluxe Reverb (Tonemaster). Both cranked right up and sound great. In the end, the only musical gear lost was my 70 year old Magnatone amp, which was completely submerged.

We lost a bunch of furniture, DVDs, books, and other stuff, but it could have been much worse. Just wanted to share with the sub.

Quick question about a remarrying provision in a revocable trust

Florida: Can someone help me understand what are the main reasons to put a clause about needing a prenup in a revocable trust about remarrying after a spouse's death. I am pretty sure it is to protect the surviving spouse from an unscrupulous suitor which makes total sense but I have a situation where the surviving parent wants the children to sign a waiver to avoid signing a prenup. My sense is this is a terrible idea. I guess I am looking for examples of some reasons why this provision is entirely sensible. I want to better explain and understand why I am against signing a waiver.
Thank you. This is my first post to this forum. Please go gentle on me, I am in a wee bit of stress over this.
Edit: I have contacted a Florida attorney in this area but communication has been sporadic.

Columbia County Power outages

The storm last night knocked out our power around 9:30pm. Still not back on as of now (8:45am) and NYSEG says they are “Assessing”. Reportedly about 4869 customers still without power likely due to downed trees on lines. My wife said the Chatham mayor declared a state of emergency. Friends on 295 lost several mature trees. Thankfully my 20 year old Generac cranked right up and we will not lose our freezers.

Trying to decide between X354 & X384

I have a 21 year old X320 I am retiring and am considering between the X354 & X384. I immediately gravitated to the X384 as it has a 48 inch deck like my 320, but now rethinking it a bit. I have a little over an acre, mostly flat, about a dozen trees to navigate. The house I owned when I bought the 320 was much hillier & almost 2+ acres. Maybe the 48 inch deck is a bit of overkill? The 354 is a little smaller & might navigate the trees and tighter spots a bit better. No plans to use it for snow plowing, just some light hauling to the burn pit and the like. And I have anecdotally seen that the two blade 42 inch deck might cut more evenly, but perhaps I have just read too much lately. The three blades on my 320 have been great.

My understanding is that the 380 line is the closest to the old 320's. And the final piece of the puzzle is that my local dealer has a 354 in stock but they are telling me it will be until October until they can get a 384. I can easily limp along with my old 320 this season after the current steering issue is repaired.

The Medieval Times Home Run Helmet

Just wanted to pass this along as a public service announcement. I recently inquired with the company about purchasing one of their helmets, which was described to me as "Helmet with Crown" or "Richard the Lionheart Helmet", which comes with a stand. You need to contact a location and the company put me in touch with the closest one to where I live, which is in New Jersey. The cost is $296 per helmet plus shipping. It was a little expensive for me to give a gag gift to some friends, but thought some folks here might be interested. The company was pleasant to deal with.
