Insanely uncomfortable ride

Hi! I have a 2006 Scion xB and the ride is so awful I get anxious to drive. I’ve heard comments from those I’ve given rides to about how awful it sounds going over bumps lol. All of the front suspension is brand new, is this just how these cars are? Also has aftermarket wheels, 215/45R17 91W tires, I don’t know how much that would affect it. Not to mention, it really struggles with acceleration and vibration with the AC is on but I presume that is normal? This is my DREAM car I really want to love to drive it. I will accept all its flaws if I must.

I want to be friends with my therapist so bad

i feel like we are very similar and i wish we could talk more than just once a week. maybe it’s just the style of therapy making me feel this way. i’m always thinking about talking to her. i don’t have any friends really, i think it would help my issue a lot. it’s just ironic.

BMET & Neurodivergence

I tried searching the sub but came up short, would you all recommend this field for someone who is neurodivergent? What possible challenges would they face? To be more specific, someone who has ADHD and/or autism with lower support needs.

Is it worth moving a few states over for an apprenticeship?

I only recently started researching this field. I’ve been considering either tech or healthcare, this seems like the best of both worlds haha. I’m wondering if it would be worth moving to get started with a company. Any other useful information would be greatly appreciated.

Compulsively researching

I would like to know the cause of my compulsive researching. It is never for pleasure or things I enjoy and that has made it difficult to accept the fact that I may be autistic. ADHD for sure… But I recently was looking into OCPD again and I really, really resonate with it. I feel like I’m just spouting off letters. I’ve tried talking to my therapist about OCPD, and she mentioned autistic rumination. I definitely do ruminate on past social interactions, etc. But most of my time is spent trying to research an issue I’m having compulsively for hours on end, hoping to alleviate some of the anxiety. Even when I know it’s making it worse I can’t help it. I feel like I don’t have a special interest or anything. My special interest is ruminating on my problems. Does this make any sense 😭 I just want some relief. I cannot do the things I actually enjoy, whatever they may be

question about covering a logo

I have a weirdly specific question, I am not sure where to ask but I thought I’d try here. There are some old notebooks at my work with logos stamped onto them. They’re difficult to paint over as they’re smooth and indented in the cover. Is there a… putty or something I can use to smooth it out and paint over it? Thanks in advance

I am going crazy… clunk upon turning left

I will preface by saying I’m not a mechanic but I am this close to purchasing some tools… 🤏

A couple weeks ago, I first noticed the clunk on a fast and sharp left turn. It gradually got worse, so I took it to the mechanic. They said: tie rods. So I spent a bunch of money, it seemed to have gone away for a day or so. Now I’m hearing it again, gradually getting worse. I have a poor history of wasting money at this mechanic. I had the front struts + some other stuff replaced about a week or two prior to the first clunk. I only mention this because I’m not sure if it could be related. They usually do a good job, so I don’t know what they could have missed twice in a row.

How could I troubleshoot this myself so I don’t waste any more money? I am broke and ready to start wrenching. 2006 Scion xB

random slop i put together:

-quinoa
-steamed broccoli
-instant pot chicken breast

all doused in an unreasonable amount of seasoning, mostly Greek Freak
