Those who think Terrifier 1 is the best, why? [I am one]

For me, it’s the great pacing, grimy, gritty 70s grindhouse feel/atmosphere and the mean spirited kills. I also love the warehouse.

I love 2 and 3 too, but for me 1 is just what I came for.

Was anybody else disappointed by Laid to Rest 2?

Here’s the thing. The film has amazing FX and splatter but….the cinematography and general plot throws me off so badly. The fact Chromeskull is the CEO of some corporation is so painfully weak. The original movie gives the impression that he’s a dark web hitman gaining mega-money from killing people via request, which makes it terrifying. The sequel makes it scy-fy channel esque and incredibly cheap, as the original had this dark, nasty edge to it.

Am I the only one who thinks this?

What’s the goriest slasher movie ever made?

For me, it’s 100 tears. It’s a beautifully shit movie but the gore is INSANE and the entertainment factor is so high. highly watchable but watch out for terrible acting, yet SEEK OUT the incredibly gross practical FX, high body count and awesome lo-fi grittiness. Also, the design of Gurdy is really cool.

I can’t help but love this film - It’s just perfect for me. Shit, but a hoot!

One year after the film’s events, you walk into a sleazy, small bar and see Dan Challis smoking a cig and nursing a whiskey. What do you say to him?
