Update on gauri

Gauri is doing great overall, and today marks 10 days of her GS injections twice a day. We’re really happy to see positive signs of recovery, and thankfully, her weight is also increasing. ❤️

However, she has unfortunately had two seizures, which has been incredibly difficult and scary for us. We’re continuing to monitor her very closely and doing everything we can to support her recovery.

We also need to restock her food and GS medication, so we’re currently trying our best to manage her ongoing expenses. If you’d like to support Gauri during her recovery, please take a look at our previous fundraising post.

Any support, no matter how small, would mean so much to us and, most importantly, to Gauri. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who has supported her and continues to keep her in your thoughts. 🐾

Update on gauri

Gauri’s health has improved significantly. She is still experiencing mild diarrhoea, for which we are giving her the prescribed medication.

Apart from that, she has become much more active and energetic. She has also gained 400 grams in weight, which is a very positive sign, and she is quite lively now. However, we are still having some difficulty arranging her essential supplies. She also does not use her litter tray for potty yet, so maintaining her hygiene remains our biggest challenge at the moment. We also need to keep her GS injections stocked. On Thursday, she is scheduled to receive an IV drip.Overall, Gauri is doing much better, is gaining weight, and is becoming increasingly active and playful…🐾

Update on gauri

She’s super active and eating really well, but she’s currently dealing with some tummy upset/diarrhea. Because of her FIP balance issues, passing stool is tricky for her right now and needs constant cleaning and care.

She’s fighting hard! 💪

If you’d like to help us and gauri please check our previous post for details.

📢 Urgent Medical & Donation Appeal for Gauri 🐾❤️

Gauri is recovering from intensive FIP treatment and urgently needs financial support to continue her twice-daily medication and care. FIP antiviral medicine: ₹8,000 for 2 vials Plus syringes, wet food, and supportive medicines Her medicines (GS)must be ordered 2–3 days in advance…We cannot afford a delay. 🙏 Please donate whatever you can: UPI: Khushi.015@ptaxis Gaurii247@ptaxis

Update on gauri

Gauri’s Health Update 🐾

I received Gauri’s latest blood test results from the doctor today, dated 13 August 2026.

Her CBC shows that Gauri is currently anemic. Her hemoglobin is 8.3 g/dL, and her PCV is 24.9%, both slightly below the laboratory’s normal range. Her RBC count is also slightly low.

Her WBC count is within the normal range, and her platelet count is normal, which is reassuring. Her neutrophil percentage is slightly elevated, although her absolute neutrophil count is still within the normal range.

Given everything Gauri has been going through and her FIP diagnosis, the anemia is something that needs to be monitored closely by her treating veterinarian. The CBC alone cannot determine the exact cause of the anemia, so her doctors will continue assessing her condition alongside her other test results and treatment.

This is the latest result I received from the doctor, and I’ll continue sharing updates about Gauri’s health and recovery. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. 🐾❤️

Update on gauri

Guys, Gauri is putting up such a brave fight! She’s currently admitted in the ICU and has been started on a high dose of her GS injections for FIP. The good news is her appetite is picking up—When the foster mom noticed the clinic was feeding Gauri Whiskas in the video, she immediately asked them to switch her over to Sheba (tuna in jelly) instead. The change was made, and Gauri is eating much better now! That said, her treatment is getting extremely expensive. Between her pending ICU bill (around ₹15k, even after paying ₹20k already) and her daily FIP injections at ₹3,000 each (₹12k for just 4 days), along with tests and clinic fees, we need nearly ₹27,000–₹30,000 right now to keep her treatment going. Her foster parent is doing everything possible, but they cannot handle these mounting bills alone. Please, if you can, head over to our previous post to donate or share. Even a small contribution or share means the world to Gauri right now! 🙏❤️

A little update on Gauri ❤️

Overall, she seems to be doing a little better, which is a huge relief. We still have to continue her medication and treatment regularly, so we’re taking things one day at a time.

Update on gauri

We have managed to arrange the ₹10,000 advance for Gauri’s inpatient treatment. The amount was given by the foster lady’s husband from his own pocket so that Gauri could continue getting the care she needs.

She has also started eating on her own, which was a small but really encouraging moment for us. ❤️

I also want to sincerely thank everyone who has supported Gauri so far, whether through donations, sharing her posts, or simply checking in and asking about her. It means a lot to us.

The foster family has been doing everything they possibly can for her, including taking care of expenses themselves when needed. I’m genuinely grateful to them. I honestly didn’t expect someone to go this far to help a little kitten, and I can’t thank them enough.

Gauri still has a long way to go, and her medical expenses will continue as her treatment progresses. We’ll keep sharing updates as we know more. 🐾❤️

Update on Gauri 🐾

Gauri is still in the hospital and is continuing her treatment. She is currently on an IV drip and is being monitored by the hospital staff. She is extremely weak, so the doctors are continuing supportive treatment while we work through her ongoing medical care.

We have already been through multiple consultations, tests, medicines, hospital visits, and other expenses for her. There are still pending hospital bills, and honestly, we are struggling to manage everything at the moment.

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianPets/s/9KkWF1OvI3

The foster has already been spending from her own pocket wherever possible, and it has become increasingly difficult to keep covering the accumulating medical expenses. We are trying our best to make sure Gauri's treatment does not stop because of money.

If anyone is able to help us clear the pending bills, even a small amount would make things a little easier right now. If you cannot contribute, simply sharing this update or keeping Gauri in your thoughts would also mean a lot.

We genuinely don't know what else to do at this point. We just want to keep her treatment going and give her a chance to recover.

I will keep updating this post as we receive more information about her condition and treatment.

🚨 URGENT FUNDRAISER FOR GAURI

Gauri is a 2-month-old rescued kitten who has been fighting for her life for weeks. After multiple visits, tests, and treatments, we finally have a diagnosis that explains her worsening condition.

Gauri has tested POSITIVE for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP) on an RT-PCR test. Her report from VetQ Gurgaon, dated 10 August 2026, confirms the result as POSITIVE.

She is extremely weak and needs immediate and continued treatment. The doctors have advised approximately 84–85 days of FIP treatment, with the current estimated treatment cost being around ₹1,00,000. This may not include additional expenses that can arise during treatment, such as blood tests, consultations, supportive medicines, hospitalization, and other medical care.

🧾 CURRENT PENDING HOSPITAL BILL

There is currently a ₹1,155 pending bill at Pet Chikitsa Veterinary Hospital for Gauri's recent consultation, investigations, medicines, injections, IV treatment, and other medical care.

The foster family has already been paying several of Gauri's expenses from their own pocket. They have done everything they could to keep her alive and comfortable, but they are now struggling financially and cannot continue covering the accumulating bills on their own.

We have also shared her previous updates and bills in our earlier posts. You can check those posts to see the ₹10,000 advance/deposit that was previously needed for her treatment, along with her other medical updates and expenses.

💔 WE REALLY NEED HELP FOR GAURI

We urgently need to raise around ₹1,00,000 for her FIP treatment and related medical expenses.

If you can donate ₹10, ₹20, ₹50, ₹100, ₹200, ₹500, or any amount you can manage, it would genuinely help. Small donations add up and can give Gauri a chance to continue her treatment.

If you cannot donate, please share this post. Even one share can reach someone who may be able to help.

Update on gauri

Update on Gauri 🐾

The foster has given me another update on Gauri. She is currently admitted at the hospital, and the hospital staff are taking care of her and monitoring her closely.

The latest updates are:

Her body temperature is normal.

Her stool report is normal.

Her WBC count is high, according to the CBC report.

She has shown a little bit of recovery and was able to take some food with the help of a syringe.

The night drip is currently running, and she is receiving the required IV treatment and care at the hospital.

Gauri is still very weak and needs continued treatment and monitoring. We are hoping she continues to respond to the treatment and gets stronger. 🐱❤️

I’ll keep sharing updates as the foster receives more information from the hospital.

Guyzzzzzz updateeee on gauriiii💖💖💖💖😭😭

Guys, look at her! 🥹 She’s sitting up now and is able to move a little bit on her own. She’s even wagging her tail and looking around. 🥺❤️

This might seem like a small improvement, but for Gauri, it’s a really big one. Earlier, she wasn’t even able to walk or move properly at all. Seeing her sit up, move a little, look around, and wag her tail gives us a little hope that her condition may be improving.

We’re still being very careful because she’s extremely weak and not out of danger yet, but I’m really hoping this is a positive sign. Please keep her in your prayers. 🙏🏻❤️

🐾 Gauri Update 🐾

Gauri is much better than she was this morning. 🥹💗 She has been eating and drinking properly, and she even ate some food on her own today! 🥹🙌🏻

The foster lady is going to take Gauri to the vet tomorrow morning for a check-up. ☺️

Let’s all pray together that Gauri continues to improve and gains more weight, so the foster lady can take her to the hospital and get all the necessary tests done. 🤞🏻💖

Thank you everyone for keeping Gauri in your prayers and supporting her. 🥹🐾💕

Update on gauri.😕

Gauri has lost around 10% of her body weight, which is concerning, especially considering how weak she already is. She also hasn’t been eating properly since this morning and has vomited two or three times.

We’re keeping a very close eye on her right now. Her condition is worrying, and we’re hoping she starts eating and feeling better soon. I’ll keep everyone updated as we know more.

Please keep Gauri in your thoughts. 🤍🐾

Gauri Update 🐾❤️

Gauri is doing a little better. She has been sleeping and seems more comfortable than before. When she first came to her foster, she weighed around 1 kg, and she is now around 1.5 kg, which is a small but encouraging improvement. 🥺❤️

Her hygiene has been quite difficult to manage because of her condition. She is extremely sensitive, and because of the cold weather, she cannot be given frequent baths or even dry baths. Her body has also become dirty from the medicines she has to take. She tends to spread the medicine all over herself, so cleaning her too frequently could cause rashes and further irritate her sensitive skin.

The foster also mentioned that Gauri is going through a lot of absorbent pads — she can finish an entire pack in just two days. 🥲 They are also running low on basic hygiene supplies such as pads, cotton/towels, clothes, and other cleaning materials because so much of what they had has become dirty from her medicines and daily care.

One of the medicines she is taking has a very thick, almost black, jelly-like consistency. Gauri apparently doesn't like it much, and after taking it she ends up getting it all over her face and body, making her look even messier. 😭 But because her skin is so sensitive, the foster cannot keep washing her repeatedly as that could cause rashes.

Despite all these difficulties, Gauri is doing better and continues to be cared for by her foster family. They are doing their best to keep her comfortable, clean, fed, and medicated. ❤️🐱

Please continue to keep this little fighter in your thoughts. She has already come so far, and we just want to see her get stronger and healthier. 🥺❤️

Update on gauri 😭🐱

Gauri Update

I spoke with Gauri's foster today after her vet visit, and I wanted to share what the vet advised.

The vet said that Gauri is currently doing soft vocalizations, but she still doesn't have enough energy to meow properly. Right now, the biggest priority is helping her gain weight and build her strength. As long as she is eating and drinking, the focus should be on improving her overall health rather than worrying about every symptom.

The vet also advised us to avoid unnecessary travel for at least a week. Frequent trips to clinics, injections, and the stress of travelling can make her more tired and lethargic. If possible, we should stick to home consultations and let her rest as much as she can. The more she rests, the better.

For now, we're keeping a close eye on her food intake, hydration, and hygiene. The vet cleaned her ears a little today and asked us to continue maintaining good food hygiene over the next week.

The vet also reminded us that if we consult multiple doctors, we'll likely receive different opinions. At this stage, the important thing is to monitor how Gauri is doing. As long as she continues to eat, drink, and use the litter box normally, there is no need to panic. However, if she completely stops eating or drinking, or stops passing urine or stool, then we should seek immediate veterinary care.

Thank you to everyone who has been following Gauri's journey and keeping her in your thoughts. We're taking things one day at a time and hoping that with proper nutrition, rest, and supportive care, she'll continue to get stronger.

Need advice for my cat jimmy

The vet examined Jimmy and said he has mouth ulcers and gingivitis. He told us that the treatment needs to continue for a total of three days. Today was his second day of treatment, and tomorrow he has to go back to the clinic one last time for his drip and injections. After that, his medicines will be stopped.

What has me worried is that someone on Reddit told me their cat had the same condition. They said that after the medication was stopped, their cat's gingivitis came back, and eventually their cat needed to have several teeth removed. Hearing that has made me really anxious because I don't know if the same thing could happen to Jimmy.

I'm already struggling to raise funds just to cover his current treatment, so I'm scared and confused about what to expect. Is gingivitis likely to come back after the medication is stopped? Is tooth extraction something that becomes necessary in cases like this, or can it be prevented? If anyone has experience with this, I would really appreciate your advice.

Jimmy's Treatment Update: Drip, injections done today. I need help covering the next 2 days.

https://www.reddit.com/r/IndianPets/s/Q3jqcBXQ3L

Jimmy's Treatment Update

Hi everyone,

I wanted to share today's update on Jimmy and also be completely transparent with everyone who has supported him.

Today, Jimmy received a drip and injections at the clinic. The total expense for today's visit was ₹1,100.

Here's the breakdown:

- ₹800 – Drip and injections

- ₹300 – Taxi fare to and from the clinic

As I mentioned in my previous post, I don't even have money for transportation, so the taxi cost is also something I have to manage every day.

After today's treatment, I have only ₹650 left.

Jimmy still has to go to the clinic for 2 more days, and ₹650 won't be enough to cover both his treatment and transportation.

Today was especially heartbreaking. Jimmy was terrified of going to the clinic. He kept trying to run away because he was so scared. On our way back home, he started breathing very strangely, which worried me a lot. I'm hoping he'll start feeling better as his treatment continues.

I don't receive any pocket money, and arranging these expenses has been very difficult for me. Despite that, I'm doing everything I can to make sure Jimmy gets the treatment he needs.

I'm attaching today's prescription so everyone can see exactly what was done. I want to be 100% transparent with everyone who has donated or supported Jimmy. Your kindness has made it possible for him to receive treatment, and I'm truly grateful.

If anyone is able to contribute toward Jimmy's remaining treatment and travel expenses, it would mean a lot to us. Every contribution, no matter how small, helps.

Thank you for standing by Jimmy.
