Finally finished my Revell 1/144 Lufthansa A340-300 after around 3 months of work!

I used quite a bit of Gaahleri gear throughout this build, so I thought it would be worth sharing here. The GHAD-39 did most of the general airbrushing and larger coverage work, while the Mobius 0.2 was really useful whenever I wanted a bit more control for the finer areas and smaller paintwork.

For the primer I used the Kaleido white and black primers mixed together to make my own grey. I was really impressed with how it behaved. It went down very smoothly, dried nice and tough, and gave me a really good surface to work over for the rest of the paint.

I also used their acrylic gloss clear towards the end of the build and it left a really nice smooth, glossy finish, which worked especially well for an airliner like this.

The kit itself definitely fought me in a few places with the fit, seams and paintwork, but I’m really happy with how it all came together in the end. Hope you guys like it!

Was at Silverstone on the 18th of August, and McLaren was running tests on the 2027 Hypercar. They also had a very rare Solis GT prototype that did a few laps and it sounded incredible with that 5.2L V10.

Gaahleri recently sent me the TurboX compressor and GHAD-39 0.35 mm airbrush set to test, and I’ve now finished my full YouTube review.

I honestly really enjoyed using it. The compact size, digital pressure controls and portability make it very different from a traditional tank compressor, so I wanted to find out whether it could still deliver the performance needed for scale modelling.

I’ve just finished a video aimed at people who are interested in scale modelling but are not sure where to start.

It covers choosing a suitable first kit, understanding scale, the tools and glue you actually need, basic painting, setting up a workspace and some common beginner mistakes to avoid.

I tried to make it useful without overwhelming new builders or making it seem like you need loads of expensive equipment before you can begin.

I’d genuinely appreciate any feedback on the information, pacing or editing. Please let me know what worked well, what could be improved, or anything important you think I missed.

So I need some help from you, lovely creative people. I've always wanted ot build a scenic, realistic city that is visually attractive.

Would you be able to drop some ideas on how I can expand from what I currently have? If there is any extra information you would like to know, please tell me in the comments.

If I were to give a theme, I am going for a city that shares a seafront and has a large metropolis on the east side, where there are some roads already. The town I have pictured in my mind is a smaller suburb, further out from the big city.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Can’t wait to start photographing proper dioramas with this setup once I get around to building some scenes.

I’m honestly really happy with how these came out. Despite being on the older side of DSLRs, the look gives the models a realistic look, and I especially like how it captures the weathering.

Can’t wait to start photographing proper dioramas with this setup once I get around to building some scenes.
