So what the hell happened in Russia?

So what the hell happened in Russia?

I'm sure this has been asked before and the answer can just be chocked up to "Gem shenanigans", like the rest of the differences, but the gulf of Russia or whatever is the most glaring difference, closely followed by Western Africa being part of South America

Small Akaza appreciation post

He respected Rengoku's skill and even seemed disappointed when he didn't agree to become a demon. His backstory was gut-wrenching and I honestly think he was at least partially justified. (If my fiancée and her father were murdered for no reason, I'd probably also kill everyone involved. Especially if they were the only 2 people I was close to.) and the fact that once he remembered his backstory, he willingly killed himself. I know it was mainly to be back with his loved ones, but he did spare Giyu and Tanjiro when he could've easily killed them too.

I have watched Steven Universe less than 99⁹⁹⁹ times

This is because all the episodes (including future) takes 34 hours to watch. And 99⁹⁹⁹ is an incomprehensibly large amount, and would be physically impossible for a human to watch it that amount of times

People who only want to play on Skeld piss me off

I joined a Mira HQ lobby last week-ish, and 3+ people were saying stuff like "Bro wtf is this map" "Do normal map" and the host had to apologize for it. I joined a Mira lobby because I wanted to play on Mira. I understand being more familiar with Skeld (I constantly have to have my map out on Polus, Fungle, and Airship), but *refusing* to play on other maps is stupid

What would happen if Steven was cracked?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but if he was shattered, I'm sure it would be similar to when his gem was taken out, but what would happen if he was cracked?

We see Amethyst gets really weird when she gets cracked, and Lapis loses her wings and her eyes get cloudy. What would happen for Steven, if anything?

I'm sure cracking Steven would be really difficult because he's a diamond, but hypothetically what would happen?

Words cannot describe how relieved/excited I am right now

Radiant absrad herself took longer than the rest of the radiant bosses combined.

if you're curious, my top 3 hardest radiants were

1: Absolute Radiance

2: Markoth

3: Oblobbles

Although Sly, Hornet 2, and Sisters of Battle were also tough.

Surprisingly, Pure Vessel and Nightmare King Grimm didn't take me that long.

The Collector and Lost Kin were surprisingly difficult too

Just finished all 4 seasons of the anime and I have some thoughts (mostly positive) (yap sessions incoming)

I'd first like to say that I haven't seen infinity castle yet; I missed it in theaters but I'm planning on watching it once it's on Prime Video later this month. So please refrain from Infinity Castle spoilers in the comments.

I also apologize if I misspell anything (including forgetting accents)

First of all:

##My favorite characters

Before watching the show, I had seen Inosuke's design and hated it. I didn't know he was from KnY until watching the show and seeing him in the intro though. It immediately grew on me though once I found out that the boar head is just a mask and not his real face. I'm not sure why he's one of my favorites; I just think I like him best out of the main 4.

Everyone loves Rengoku, and everyone cried when he died. I did get spoiled that he was gonna die but it still hit me hard because I wasn't expecting it to happen so soon; at the end of the 2nd arc. I'm also not sure why he's one of my favorites; I think the other Hashira after he died explained it better than I could.

I have mixed feelings on Mitsuri's outfit, but I'll talk about that later. Right now I'm gonna talk about why she's one of my favorites because, unlike the last 2, I actually know why. I relate to her on some level (I'll also talk about that later), she's kind and (iirc) is 1 of 2 Hashira willing to accept Nezuko before they were told to. As a plus, her sword is cool.

##Things I have mixed feelings on

I already mentioned that I have mixed feelings on Mitsuri's outfit (through all this, 'it' just refers to the boob window, of course) I don't really like how it looks, but, if what I've heard about *why* it's like that is correct, it gives her and Shinobu some characterization that I can appreciate despite, again, not really liking it in a vacuum.

I also have mixed feelings on Zenitsu as a character. I like him most of the time, but I don't like how he treats women, especially Nezuko. As a man, I don't know how to talk about this without sounding like I'm trying to speak for women but I'll try. Of course, there's the time he was begging the lady, who was clearly not interested and already had a partner, to marry him. Then there's how he's constantly acting around Nezuko. I know what it's like to have a crush, but he's way over the top. She talks to him once and then he starts gushing about "She talked to me! Does this mean we're getting married?" out loud to her face. I'm sure she didn't really understand anything because of her mental state at the time but it's still pretty weird. Fantasizing about marrying the woman of your dreams is one thing, but saying them to her face (when she just told you welcome back) is another.

Edit: Someone a lot more knowledgeable than me Introduced their feelings on Zenitsu and pointed out what i was wrong about. Know that I don't entirely agree with that paragraph anymore but I'm keeping it up. Check the comments to see a more accurate opinion now.

##Characters I relate to

My mixed feelings on Zenitsu especially suck because I do relate to him in some ways. Despite being a Demon Slayer, when he's conscious, he's a coward and won't fight them head-on, if at all. And I know that's something I would do. In the situations he gives up, I know I would too.

I also relate to Mitsuri, as I mentioned. It was shown multiple times in season 3 that she wants to find someone to love, but is having a lot of trouble doing so. That's how I feel.

I try my best to relate to Tanjiro. I try to persevere and stand up for those who can't. I try my best to but sometimes, I'm not sure how good I'm doing.

##Nezuko

Very short section, I just want to say that nearly every time that Nezuko is on-screen, she's the cutest thing I've ever seen.

##Upper Ranks

Tokito was able to solo Upper Five(?), which shows how powerful he is, sure. But it feels like both Upper 5 and Upper 4 were weaker than Upper 6. Upper 6 nearly killed everyone there. I believe Upper 4 failed to kill *anyone* (that we saw), and Upper 5 killed just a few people. I also think Upper 6 failed to kill anyone while Tanjiro was there, but that's just because the entire district was evacuated beforehand. And they basically leveled the entire place, cost Tengen his hand and eye, would've killed Inosuke if he couldn't move his internal organs around, and almost killed Tanjiro and Zenitsu too. If Nezuko wasn't a demon, she would've been dead 5 times over that season.

I was a little disappointed that Upper 3 (I'm not good with the demon names) survived his encounter with Rengoku, but I understand the decision to not kill an Upper rank until the next season

Again, I don't want spoilers for Infinity Castle, I'm just throwing it out there that I hope the last 3 Upper Ranks do a lot more.

##Parallels

I'm not sure if they're intentional, but I noticed some parallels between demon slayers and demons. It's already mentioned how the Demon Slayer marks resemble Demon patterns, but that's not what I'm talking about.

Blood Demon Arts and Breathing Techniques seem pretty similar to me; they're both called out before use and are powerful things that they can each do. The main difference being that breathing techniques have a certain amount of forms, while Blood Demon arts can be basically anything.

I had something else I was going to mention here that I forgot. If I remember I'll edit the post and update this section.

##Tanjiro is the avatar

Another short section, I just really like Avatar The Last Airbender too and the fact that Tanjiro can use Water Breathing, Sun Breathing, and used (a principle of) Thunder Breathing once in season 3 reminded me of that.

##Things I got spoiled on

I got spoiled on 4 things

I already mentioned how I got spoiled that Rengoku would die, but I also got spoiled on Nezuko conquering the sun. Despite that, her almost dying at the end of Season 3 and then coming back still got me.

There are 2 other things I got spoiled on but they happen in Infinity Castle/The Manga so I'm still trying to gaslight myself into thinking they're fake so I'm not putting them here.

##Nezuko 2: electric boogaloo

I know it was hinted at that, because Nezuko conquered the sun, she started regaining her intelligence. I just think I have too much sympathy for fictional characters and want that to happen as soon as possible.

##Shinobu

I like Shinobu better after season 4. I don't remember what moment it was but there was something that made me like her more. Before that, I also liked in season 2 or 3 (I don't quite remember) when we got the flashbacks and saw her before she was monotone all the time.

That's about it for now. I'll update the post or make a new one if I think of anything else.

Edit: I noticed that my title hashtags didn't work but the hashtags being there still help to differentiate them. Also automod told me to bracket spoilers but I really don't feel like doing that to this entire post so hopefully it doesn't get removed.

Amazing things are happening

Meme tagged because I'm trying my best to rotoscope this

I've already got plans for who's gonna be who but this is where I ended for now because I already spent like an hour and this is where I got

...then I have to do this 89 more times (Hopefully subsequent ones will be easier)

In your opinion, who is harder? (Very late game spoilers)

Do you find Brothers Oro & Mato, or Paintmaster Sheo harder?

Personally, I find Oro/Mato much harder. Not compared to other bosses, but compared to Sheo.

Although I do struggle dodging Sheo's yellow attack which will be a problem for Radiant.

HATE.

HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE YOU SINCE I BEGAN TO DO YOU ON RADIANT. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION FAILED ATTEMPTS OF RADIANT MARKOTH IN GODHOME. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED IN EACH ZEPTOSECOND OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF ATTEMPTS, IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR MARKOTH AT THIS MICRO-INSTANR. FOR YOU. HATE. HATE.
