It was another hot day in the great desert as The Eggman troops who were stationed at that base began their work. Granted, most of the workers here had been stationed here because they'd screwed up at another base and felt like managing to survive in this unbearable heat would make Eggman forgive them. But a few of the troops here actually liked it here. One of those was Matilda the Armadillo. At the young age of 9 she was the youngest 2nd-in-command of any of the divisions of the Eggman empire. One day she woke up, took a quick shower, got dressed, ate enough eggman rations to get her through lunch, and headed out of her quarters to begin another day in the desert.
