“I’m not holding back my fire out of spite Midoriya, I literally can’t use my left side since my quirk is dependent on my emotions.” Shoto explained to Izuku.

Originally Izuku believed that Shoto held back his fire, but Shoto told Izuku about his past and his situation.

Turns out Shoto’s Quirk operates as a strict somatic mirror of his autonomic nervous system. The right side is governed by calmness, stoicism, and in general being like ice itself for him to use it. The Todoroki estate turned emotional detachment into a survival instinct, making his ice effortlessly lethal; whenever Shoto feels threatened, isolated, or detached, the frost expands instinctively.

The left side, however, is wired directly to sympathetic nervous activation: high emotional states like fury, grief, frantic desperation, or unfiltered passion. Igniting requires a sudden spike in adrenaline and emotional vulnerability.

Because childhood abuse conditioned Shoto to shut down his feelings the moment tension escalated, it meant Shoto can’t ever use his fire even if he tried.

He only used his fire against Midoriya thanks to feeling mild frustration trying to get that headband.

To use both sides Shoto feels that he must go crazy, since he can’t stand constantly changing emotions like he’s borderline or bipolar just to use one side over the other instantly.

Izuku has a Where’s Waldo/Wally quirk. This allows Izuku to instantly teleport anywhere including other time periods, dimensions, become almost undetectable, and can stop time itself. But Izuku is forced to wear that ridiculous hat and shirt whenever he uses his powers.

When Izuku was young his quirk manifested. It resulted in him wearing glasses alongside a red-and-white striped sweater and beanie, as he ended up making/teleporting these strange clothes upon his body.

Bakugo felt that Izuku was being a deku dressed this way, as Izuku tries to explain that he didn’t put these on they just appeared on his body.

Bakugo didn’t believe it until he attacked Izuku with an explosion, only for Izuku to instantly teleport away.

Izuku discovered that these clothes are reminiscent of a pre quirk era children’s book series called Where’s Waldo/Wally.

Izuku discovered that he can manifest these clothes at will, if he wears them then he had all of Waldo/Wally’s powers.

Izuku discovered instead of just location. Izuku discovered he can teleport throughout time from the past, present, and future! See alternate universes, dimensions, alongside other places as his quirk gives him unlimited movement.

What’s more he can use his powers to stop time around him for a short moment to escape and teleport away.

But Izuku discovered the limitations of his quirk:

He can’t change history in the past. If Izuku travels back to stop All Might’s crippling fight against All For One, he discovers that his presence in the past was always part of history. Any attempt to alter the outcome either fails or accidentally causes the exact timeline he was trying to fix.

Izuku can’t use his quirk unless he’s wearing glasses, a red/white stripped shirt, and beanie. If he doesn’t wear those things, than he can’t teleport.

Wearing his quirk makes Izuku completely invisible, as he’s even more undetectable than Toru as so far the only way people know he’s there is when he speaks.

All Might and AFO are both older than canon to the point it changes their dynamic. This also had the ramifications upon others dealing with the elderly hero and villain.

I based this idea off SpongeBob, where instead of Mermaid man and Barnacle boy. It‘s All Might and AFO, with AFO becoming the Mermaid man in this dynamic.

AFO although he lost his eyes, where despite his multiple quirks to bypass this weakness, he’s short sighted. Yet, he’s anlso obese, h‘s cracky, nearly deaf, And even with his lifespan quirk it didn’t erase dementia as many times he would scream “Evil!” out of the blue. Sometimes he forgets why he even had Shigeraki there at all, forgetting why he even is a villain sometimes. Becoming a nice old man who just happened to be a notorious villain in the past, who raised him as a boy rather than a successor.

All Might meanwhile is 68 years old. He’s now almost bald with his few hairs being white, as he’s far more self aware than AFO in their dynamic. It’s obvious to everyone that All Might looks skinnier, as he plans on retiring soon after dealing with AFO and giving OFA.

He never gave OFA to anyone else is because he knew about the lifespan issue, as finding a quirkless person grows harder. Forcing All Might to not be retired at all despite his age.

All Might also had a son, who’s actually his secret love child whom he keeps secret alongside his daughter in law. Unknown to everyone, he’s actually a grandfather with four young grandchildren as he keeps his personal life a secret. Unlike him, his four children aren’t quirkless having very flashy quirks.

Instead of his canon personality; In this AU Shoto becomes develops the personality and motives of Reverse Flash from DC.

In canon Shoto developed a somewhat awkward personality thanks to being isolated, but this Shoto went into the other extreme developed where he became narcissistic, developed a god complex, and utterly sociopathic as he’s run on spite.

Shoto now operates with a chilling sense of entitlement. If he wants something, he takes it. If someone is in his way, they are removed. He has zero moral compass, only a highly tuned sense of what he can get away with. He is a super genius as he views everyone around him as slow, stupid, and primitive. Possessing an immense arrogance. Shoto takes immense pleasure in how he can degrade others.

He is charismatic, playing the role of a helpful hero student, while also being a villain if it hurts Enji not caring which is which.

Even before canon. Shoto would use his ice and fire in undetectable ways. Cooling Enji’s tea right before he drinks it. Melting the tires on Endeavor's agency vehicles so he’s always late to crime scenes.

Give your own unspoken opinions on ASOIAF fanfiction and authors.

Too many authors have a hate boner against Young Griff, as it’s for what he represents rather than how he is as a person with his own personality.

When you’ve been following characters for five books and multiple episodes of television, it’ll feel super insulting if someone else got the prize than someone you’ve been rooting for.

Young Griff undermines Daenerys, as he’ll be a threat to her. Unlike we readers who grew up to care for Daenerys in her struggles. He comes across as unintentionally arrogant, someone who doesn’t deserve Daenerys.

Young Griff is also hated because he invalidates Jon Snow own storylines uniqueness, and he isn’t “humble” like Jon despite the fact Jon was raised as a lords son while Young Griff specifically was raised to be humble to be a good king. His dubious origins, which threaten R+L=J, made it easy for everyone to claim he’s an imposter. He is hated because he steals Jon Snows thunder of him being the secret true heir, even if Young Griff never met Jon Snow at all.

It doesn’t just include Daenerys and Jon.

You can make a point that he threatens everyone from Lannister fans, since Jaime, Tywin, Cersei, and the Lannister family would be killed and threaten by Young Griff.

Stannis fans, since he plans to remove the usurpers and take a crown. Stannis fans believe the throne, it was won by the right of conquest.

Stark fans since he’s a threat to them for siding with the rebels in the rebellion as he’ll likely fight them, or worse threaten ships.

Targaryen fans are pissed off since it means his conquest as Targaryen restoration is done by “the wrong king”. He isn’t Targaryen he’s a Blackfyre, is the common opinion.

With how Young Griff acts with no meta knowledge, he unintentionally comes across as very entitled, who didn’t deserve what he got.

Young Griff as a person is a teenage boy, he isn’t young Joffrey that so many fanfiction make him to be. He is polite, rash, can be angered easily, ambitious, compassionate, gets along with others, yet he’s also grounded in his views after a life of exile as he saved Tyrion’s life despite how revolting book 5 Tyrion is like.

I believe it’s entirely subconscious.

Enji believed that Shoto was going to inherit a fire and ice quirk, but it turns out Shoto was actually immune to all fire and ice no matter how hot or cold in temperature. Except Shoto can’t release fire and ice.

Everyone in the Todoroki family believed Shoto inherited fire and ice. Thanks to Shoto having a chimera coloring with both of his parents, but as Shoto grew up turns out Shoto couldn’t release Fire and Ice at all!

Turns out Shoto was completely immune to all Fire no matter how hot as he can never be burned or bothered by extremely hot temperatures, as it comes across as a mild annoyance at worst. Shoto will never burn.

Shoto was also immune to ice and temperatures colder than even the coldest quirks. He can walk in a summer outfit in winter as it wouldn’t bother him. He can’t get frostbite, and his molecules don’t even slow down in absolute zero.

Enji got a quirk that gives him the defensive side that is needed, but with no offensive power.

Having to do a 12 hours or less speedrun in the slowest combat out of any final fantasy game, to get an ultimate weapon is a level of stupidity that I’ll never get behind.

This game although I love everything except playing the game since I loathe the slow combat, I’ve never gotten Steiner‘s ultimate weapon. Since you basically need to speedrun this game in less than 12 hours, and get the final dungeon.

This ultimate weapon basically forces you to skip the wonderfully done cutscenes, active time events, secrets, and avoid having fun since you’re required to have extensive meta knowledge to defeat.

Some ultimate weapons can be skipped like Cait‘s or Barrett‘s in FFVII, but they can be reloaded to the last save unlike Steiners ultimate weapon which is so counterintuitive.

[All] Do you want hidden techniques from the older Zelda games returning to spice up the combat? Do you want more things added to Zelda combat?

Zelda combat is very simply especially where in the games where it’s primarily 2D with hardly any moveset upgrades, though in 3D they almost always added new sword techniques to freshen up combat.

However with the era of the Wild duology, they’ve removed many new techniques in favor of sandbox elements to take out opponents in creature ways than head on, use your runes, using stealth, elemental attacks, or even the environment for yourself in favor of forgoing more swordsmanship techniques.

There are currently 36 unique enemy types for both Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks. The Minish Cap has 42 and Twilight Princess has the most at 48. Skyward Sword’s 29. Ocarina of Time has only 38. BOTW 32 enemies and 11 unique enemy types with so many reskins.

Yeah, combat was never the true emphasis in any game as Zelda focused more on adventure, dungeons, and puzzles. The enemy variety is less compared to the likes of Final Fantasy which is also an action adventure series that gives emphasis to combat. FF7 rebirth has 230 unique enemies, 36 bosses that have their own unique mechanic.

The Wild duology despite many things it added is kinda bare when it comes to actually using your sword to fight. So far the spin slash returned, alongside a new flurry rush mechanic, but the ending blow was removed, and many other techniques. You can’t rematch bosses unless they’re overworld mini bosses that respawn after a blood moon.

Even with the introduction of spears and claymores, their surprisingly very bare bones having almost the same animation.

So far the next mainline 3D Zelda game wouldn‘t have everything returning from the Wild games, and it will be good to for the older sword techniques implemented in game.

I would definitely like to see a final fantasy rebirth system implemented where overworld bosses that have more unique AI in being far more aggressive, abilities, and location marks that aren’t simply more health reskins of the regular enemies. Returning the boss rush arena. Alongside give more extra depth to quality than the sheer quantity of the weapons.

Do you find yourself growing to dislike Konoha, once you’re older, and realize how utterly corrupt it is?

Getting the acknowledgement of Konoha was originally Naruto’s goal, but it looks more like an abandoned child wanting the love from people who are jerks.

As a kid, you watch the story through Naruto’s eyes: an underdog working hard, earning the respect of his peers, and learning that "love and unity" overcome all odds. But through an adult lens, Konoha stops looking like a cozy ninja haven and starts looking like an authoritarian ethno-state that relies on child soldiers, black-ops ethnic cleansing, and weaponized propaganda.

Naruto being gay for Sasuke when I look back at it when I’m older comes across as an abused abandoned boy desperate for the boy that he believes can relate to him.

Sasuke meanwhile was a product of Konoha’s systemic failures, a broken child made by Konoha.

The will of fire is literally propaganda, as it comes across as an excuse, it sounds nice in the idea. You have to treat the village as your family, but it’s horrible for the individual and actually fully endorses Japans very toxic culture that goes against the individual. You justify genocide all for the village, as the Hokage’s view what Itachi did was brave, heroic, all just to stop a war. All the while Hashirama founded the village to stop children dying, yet inadvertently praised the sacrifice of all the Uchiha innocent children for the village making him a massive hypocrite.

Konoha openly permitted and protected the Hyuga clan's slavery. Konoha’s leadership didn't just ignore this horrific human rights violation; they actively enforced it to preserve the Byakugan as a military asset for the village.

The older I grew up the more I realized Konoha is more in common with Shinra from FF7. While no lifestream, they’re masters at exploitation.

Like Shinra they’re militaristic, corrupt, did inhuman experiments in secret, cover up their own atrocities, betrayals of other people in their village that led to Yahiko’s death, etc.

No wonder so many people hated Konoha, not because of a curse of hatred. If Naruto was actually raised with love and away from the toxic will of Fire, then he wouldn’t like the village as he wouldn’t be desperate for love. I can see him liking the people and bonding with others, but what they do, especially if Naruto is raised by a survivor of Konoha’s atrocities. He wouldn’t like the system at all.

It now feels like whenever I see Naruto, it now feels like if FF7 praises Shinra for their deeds.

[30k] How horrifying is the power to see the fourth wall in 30k realizing you and others are all fiction?

"Everything is preordained, even my responses. We're all puppets, Laurie. I'm just a puppet who can see the strings." Quote by Dr Manhatten.

I had this plot bunny that I had where instead of it being comedic like Gintama, Harley Quinn, or Deadpool in fourth wall breaks. Where instead of being funny, you become aware that you’re fiction in this grim dark galaxy.

So basically in this AU Perturabo had this power where instead of just seeing the weaknesses of everything, Perturabo actually had the power to see the fourth wall ever since he was a child in Olympia! By the time Perturabo is found and geneseed given, many if not most had the power to see the fourth wall like Perturabo did.

Perturabo saw the rulebook of tabletop, as many things in war are based on chance with dice and their mechanics in tabletop.

Perturabo and most his sons read their own articles online, alongside seeing the official Warhammer website of future events. Even ignoring the Warhammer website, they saw TV tropes, and YouTube analyses.

They see dialogue boxes on top of everyone where they realize if they said this or that, the dialogue box shows that’s how other person would react and respond.

Perturabo sees the black library authors in England writing the books, in tandem with him seeing how the warp is used to justify bullshit deus ex machina and plot holes.

Perturabo sees himself and his sons, almost everyone is nothing but fake painted miniatures.

Perturabo learning why primarchs didn’t appear in 40k until the daemon primarchs, Lion, and Guilliman was due to needing to release future models and rulebooks compared to their 30k figurines.

Perturabo seeing that grim dark is nothing more than an aesthetic as there is no hope for a better future!!!

The emperor is purposefully written like a terrible father, and various tropes so the heresy and grim dark things will happen. His power level is all over the place was needing drama in the books.

Perturabo seeing that the emperor is a powerful plot device, and knowing the two missing primarchs!

There is no hope as the heresy even if Horus didn’t fall will happen, because of so much cosmic bullshit which means any primarch can become the arch heretic just so the grim dark of 40k will happen. With Perturabo seeing alternate universes and fanfiction of the Dornian heresy, Roboutian heresy, Lion Heresy, and the Sanguinius heresy.

Hope and free will being a lie when you realize your fiction as you see the strings upon others as they’re fictional NPC’s.

Note:

So far I’m not planning on a Perturabo pov rather how everyone reacts and deals with Perturabo and his sons who are acting this way, and the massive divergence of this AU since the great crusade, relationships, and heresy if it were to happen will be different.

It absolutely won’t follow canon, but it’ll become clear that to the readers sans everyone else that Perturabo is extremely damaged as he sees this alternate universe he’s from literally write around him.

Izuku, Bakugo, Tokoyami, and Shoto possess chaos god quirks of Nurgle, Khorne, Tzeentch, and Slaanesh from 40k.

Basically cosmic bullshit happens if the emperor won, so the chaos gods powers find themselves in MHA within some children as their new quirks.

Shoto in this AU had the appearance of Slaanesh where instead of one half being ice and fire, he was half male and half female with his two sides and appearance made him look like perfection. Two gorgeous horns, white and red hair looked like absolute gold. Shoto unintentionally becoming the most physically beautiful being in the world. Outside his beauty, he basically had the powers of Slaanesh which are numerous.

Bakugo wanted a powerful quirk as a child which ended up being a chaos god Khorne quirk as Bakugo had more of a wolf’s head, large bat like wings, and was well muscled. But thanks to having Khorne’s powers, it meant he was so powerful that nobody can challenge him growing up except for Izuku.

Izuku with his Nurgle quirk possessed small two horns, his hair became the texture of moss, his skin green, and body bloated as he appeared to be fat despite the fact he wasn’t fat at all. Having the power of Nurgle, Izuku became obsessed with growing plants, alchemy, and various other studies outside of his heroic studies. It also meant spending lots of time with Bakugo both training before UA, since Izuku was the only one who can fight Bakugo and win many times.

Instead of Ochako, Ibara was the girl Izuku developed a crush at with first sight.

Izuku ain‘t going to know about OFA, since it’s very likely the Sludge villain would be rotted and too weak to ever terrorize Musutafu the moment he touched Izuku.

Tokoyami had the powers of Tzeentch himself. While he retains his iconic bird-like head. His feathers are no longer just black. Depending on the angle of the light, they shimmer with the warp-colors of Tzeentch: vibrant pinks, deep blues, and shimmering golds. If you blink, the colors seem to crawl and rearrange themselves. Occasionally, a blink-and-you-miss-it eye will open on Tokoyami’s neck, the back of his hand, or within the folds of his cloak, darting around to observe the world before melting back into his skin as Tokoyami can levitate instead of walk. Dark Shadow became kairos fateweaver with two heads. The right head sees the unvarnished, objective truth of everything that has ever happened. No lies, biases, or forgotten histories can hide from it. The left sees unclouded truth of everything that is going to happen. It maps every variable, probability, and outcome with perfect clarity. Just like Kairos, neither head can comprehend the present moment. That burden falls entirely on Tokoyami.

Note: They can’t make daemons, they can’t spread warp corruption. Despite their power and subconscious influence, they’re mostly themselves albeit with different personality in some ways thanks to having a different upbringing.

Izuku ain’t doing to be anxious, timid, or suffer a low self esteem as he had a quirk, and Bakugo’s only respected opponent growing up.

I can see Bakugo not bullying children since it’ll be beneath him, as he wouldn’t have an inferiority complex at all. He definetely won’t call Izuku Deku.

Anyone feel bad for Tyrion during the end times?

Teclis is the brother that he loved, but he betrayed Tyrion for Malekith despite the horrible things Malekith had done to Ulthuan during this crisis. Worse discovering his brother arranged the death of his only child and daughter Aliathra, as he loved his daughter immensely in a ritual to revive Nagash.

Alarielle abandoning him for Malekith side, as Tyrion is rightfully pissed off and growing more unstable with how everyone is acting as if they’re forgetting things.

Morathi entering the fray.

Claiming widowmaker is to show how deeply he’s fallen, but it comes across as a man who’s endlessly betrayed and everyone acts out of character as it always gave me GOT season 8. With the elven civil war, it felt like orcs did more to fight against the armies of chaos rather than the elves!

Worse this exactly comes across as Arya’s stupid: “I know I killed when I see one.” line in the show seeing Daenerys.

Enji never had a quirk marriage, he hates All Might from a variety of factors. As this Enji has Mr Turners dislike of Dinkleburg from FOP, only now in MHA context.

In this scenario Enji had a one sided rivalry with All Might, as All Might was more successful, richer, more beloved as Enji was jealous about All Might. Leading to Enji blaming everything on All Might, as people believed he had a quirk marriage.

Turns out Enji never had a quirk marriage at all, Rei Himura was All Might’s ex girlfriend that he dumped for more money and heroics. With Rei being unaware that All Might let her go, since he doesn’t want to involve others when it comes to AFO or reveal OFA to her.

Enji treats Rei like a queen. He cooks breakfast, lavishes her with gifts, and publicly boasts about how wonderful she is. His self-esteem as a husband is tied to one key fact: he stepped up where All Might failed.

This led to Enji to favor spending more time with his wife Rei than his children most of the time.

He didn’t even have children to use them as his dream as number one, he never trained or forced his dream on them, as he flat out said his dreams were shattered years ago.

When Toya or Shoto asked, Enji responded how old are you.

Shoto decides that rebelling with a quirk is stupid, so he would rebel by becoming and doing whatever he wants no matter how slight.

Shoto realized that he was made by his father for his quirk, so he decided that he wanted absolutely freedom to experience life that wasn’t training where instead of heroics of becoming the number one hero which he permanently lost the taste for.

Shoto decides he would follow his dream of absolute freedom, by indulge himself in every kind of decadence no matter how slight.

This led to Shoto to become extremely self centered, selfish, hedonistic, and utterly uncaring of anyone and anything that didn’t amuse him. In fact, he grew to love doing this since Enji is extremely strict. Since his mother would never hold him, his father would only beat him, his siblings are away he simply held himself up to make up for the people who wouldn’t.

This Shoto was unmoored from all cultural ties, all respect to elders, everything because nothing matters but what he wants and his own pleasures.

Note:

If Endeavor still manages to force Shoto into UA through recommendations (perhaps threatening to cut off his allowance), Shoto becomes the most infuriating student in Class 1-A.

During the battle trial, Shoto only used his ice is because he wanted a place to take a nap. He is deliberately unhelpful if its unfun for him, and doesn’t give a damn about his grades.

At the sports festival, Shoto willingly forfeits so he can go back home early, drink, play video games, and eat snacks at his father’s allowance since the sports festival is a total pain in the ass.

Shoto will happily be expelled since he can spend more time playing video games, and being an unproductive member of society.

Is there an RPG that you won’t replay?

FF9 for me.

I love the graphics and background art.

I love the character writing, charming character moments, alongside getting real time knowledge on where the other person is.

I love the music.

I love the secrets that I can find exploring.

I love the art style and designs here.

I love the save points as FF9 currently has my new favorite save point in any final fantasy game.

I like that the story is better executed than FF8.

So many things are done so much well, but I swear I felt that I was forced to play to finish the game because combat isn’t enjoyable at all.

I swear the version I played on switch is so laggy.

I hate how the switch version forces me to always use the menu for speed up, but this speed up is too fast that it makes it unreliable compared to FF7 and FF8 speed up. Both FF7 and FF8 went on 3x speed, but here this is too fast and it isn’t convenient as it’s mapped to the menu.

Combat felt so delayed that I end up wasting my items thanks to the characters being too slow to even use them. I’ve wasted so many potions, Phoenix downs, and various items because of my characters being so slow to actually do what they need as I end up losing a character in combat with my items and spells wasted or not being used.

I hate how getting abilities is less fun than in FF7, FF8. With those two I wanted to experiment, while here it’s so simple that it wasn’t fun getting the abilities that I wanted.

I hate how many bosses aren’t fun thanks to the combat system that they often felt like chores to fight.

I hate Tetra master.

I hate jump rope.

I hate the very slow intro to almost every battle.

I hate the slow combat, many times I felt that I was playing molasses. That it made many boss fights not that fun to fight.

I hate the trance system, most of the time, I end up wasting my trance thanks to the slow combat causing delays leading to the character doing trance at the worst moment.

I’ve never been this torn about a final fantasy game. I love everything except the combat and gameplay, as I continued to play because everything else is so good that I pushed myself despite the I hate playing the game.

Izuku doesn’t say it’s your quirk, he shows not using both sides of your quirk is stupid as Izuku promptly does nothing since Izuku heals from ice attacks when facing Shoto. Or Izuku’s quirk functions are Shiva from final fantasy.

In this scenario, Izuku awakens a quirk that ended up giving him the powers of Shiva from the final fantasy series.

Izuku‘a skin turned slightly blue, but he discovered he can create massive quantities of ice, flash freeze people, control ice from outside sources, create massive snow storms, and use techniques/spells from final fantasy especially FFX as you can literally buff aeons to learn various spells and abilities.

Izuku discovered he can increase his own speed with haste, slow others from slow, or even learn more powerful ice attacks.

What’s more Izuku discovered that he heals from ice!

He can use his own ice attacks upon himself and heal his injuries and be more energetic, as if his body functioned like a glacier and more ice simply benefits him.

Izuku‘s most powerful ice attack is diamond dust.

Now having the powers of a final fantasy summon he’s going to be a hero!

Bakugo ain’t gonna bully Izuku since he has a powerful ice quirk, and in fact was the only student to challenge Bakugo growing up.

I can’t see Izuku getting OFA since it’s very likely the sludge villain would be frozen solid once he touched Izuku.

At the sports festival, Izuku instead of saying it’s your quirk.

Izuku simply does nothing as he‘s completely unaffected by cold.

Is actually healing from his injuries every time Shoto fought.

Izuku promptly does nothing as Izuku wins.

(Spoiler Extended) Theon literally had no control or choices in his life looking back at his own story.

Think about how messed up Theon’s situation is, taken by his home after a war started by his father. Sure his father was an ass, but his sister and mother loved him. His mother especially was heartbroken.

Ned brought him to executions, and even now didn’t treat him like he belonged to the family unlike Robb who didn’t get the memo.

They never promised or offered him anything, except for Robb himself who treated him like a brother while others treated him as a ward/hostage.

If he would‘ve been not threatened for execution for simply living everyday, or even betrothed to Sansa then he would’ve had more reason to be loyal.

Sometimes I wonder if Theon became hedonistic is because of he never had control over his life, always dictated by men above him as sex in taking his pleasure was something that belonged to him.

Cersei’s own small council is flabbergasted and calls Sansa out for not being loyal despite her being a hostage, so many call Theon’s turncloak yet outside Robb they never threatened to not execute him.

This is so messed up, and I hate the I choose wrong line in the show because it ignores that Theon would’ve been executed as Ned never said he won’t do it as he was brought to executions often.

With that threat he would never be a part of the family.

Honestly after analyzing his character, I dislike Theon is called turncloak since it’s so much like the Sansa situation when she’s in the south.

Adult and more powerful in a figure of authority had control over his life as he desperately wanted a place to belong and a family to love him yet nobody gave it except Robb.

It was either his father controlling, Robert Baratheon decree, Ned Stark ward, so many years people didn’t even try.

Very unpopular FF9 personal opinion. I love everything here from the story, graphics, characters, music, setting, but I can’t stand the gameplay.

Bought FF9 for the switch for a sale, and this is easily the most jarring experience with a final fantasy game.

I played FF6, FF7, FF7, FF10 and FFX2.

There is no doubt that FF9 easily has the best graphics of the PS1 final fantasy games, that even with a remaster looks gorgeous with even the cutscenes being better than FF7 and FF8’s in sheer quality.

I love the character writing alongside the very charming character moments, since it made everyone feel like they’re people. You can also see what that specific character is doing at the moment that you’re playing.

The character animations even not in cutscenes and moments are better than FF7 and FF8.

I love the music, with this easily being one of the best final fantasy soundtracks.

I love the secrets that I can find exploring as I’m rewarded for it.

I love the art style and designs here, with FF9 easily having the cutest moogles with how they’re now serving to be the save point.

Kuja was a massive step up as a villain compared to Ultimecia, even if I dislike how he was replaced by Necron. But his ending with Zidane is very touching, with it being a good send off to his character.

I love the story, as it’s better executed since I felt that FF7 was better as Cloud’s own personal struggles and journey. FF8 had great ideas, though the forced romance and executing wasn’t the best at all. FF9 I think has the best execution even with some minor hiccups with like Beatrice own deeds many brushes off despite some resistance early on before being forgotten, even if it’s an awesome moment she joins the party.

So many things are done so much well, but I swear I felt that I was forced to play the game because combat isn’t enjoyable at all.

I hate Tetra master, even now I don’t understand the rules. This is easily the worst final fantasy card game ever, as I might even consider it one of the worst card games I’ve ever played. I hate that I have to win Tetra master to continue the story.

I hate the very slow intro to almost every battle, as that is followed up with the slowest final fantasy combat that I’ve ever played. Many times I felt that I was playing molasses.

I hate the delayed movement, as I select an option only for actions to not happen as it felt so slow that my strategies don’t even work. I’ve wasted so many potions, Phoenix downs, and various items because of my characters being so slow to actually do what they need as I end up losing a character in combat with my item and spell wasted or not being used. Many times it felt like the game intentionally fucks me over.

Trance is worse than limit breaks in FF7 and FF8. FF7 limits felt rewarding. FF8 limits although less consistent and can be spanned more with a buff spell, it made you feel like you’re invincible as you feel your characters power. Trance meanwhile activates at the worst time. Most of the time, I end up wasting my trance thanks to the slow combat causing delays leading to the character doing trance at the worst moment.

I hate the sheer speed up in this game as it’s way too fast compared to FF7 and FF8, so it leads to me running into things often. Or missing combat phases since enemies are getting extra hits in so I didn’t bother to use this FF games speed up as I prefer to simply haste myself.

I hate the very slow combat, waiting for my ATB bar to fill.

So overall: I never thought a final fantasy game would fill me with these kinds of emotions. To love everything except the combat and gameplay, which in a JRPG is vital for combat to be good.

[All] Do you want future Zelda games have more save files akin to final fantasy games?

The Zelda has a rather limited save files in three, leading to a scenario where you want to revisit a place than you must keep this specifically safe file untouched.

In the Wild duology this isn’t even an option anymore.

Do you or do you not want to see a save system akin to finals fantasy own system in zelda games, especially in the 3D Zelda games. Where once you save a game, then you can revisit a save that happened before you saved multiple times before freely thanks to multiple files existing alongside auto saves.

I thought FF7’s materia system made the game easy to break, but that doesn’t hold a candle to how junctioning breaks FF8’s difficulty.

I played FF7 OG and I broke the game easily once I began to match materia, leveled up materia, as materia was so fun and broken to use.

I’m currently playing FF8 the first time, and the junctioning made the materia system look tame in how this breaks the game in power levels.

This may be the easiest and earliest way to get overpowered in any final fantasy game that I’ve ever played.

A dynamic scaling system meant if you just use the card ability, you’ll never need to gain extra levels as grinding becomes about getting extra spells as enemies remain weak while you’re getting stronger.

Playing Triple Triad actively rewards you by making you more powerful. Card mod ensures you’ll get late game thing earlier than you’re intended.

Limit breaks are more spammable easily with the spell to give full limit breaks

GF’s add way more stats and abilities if you grind them without leveling up compared to materia.

Im not saying it’s bad, but this is something I noted.
