Any women in their 30s looking for friends?

30s/40s/or I don’t even care if you’re a 60-year old woman. I’m a woman in my 30s.

Haven’t really connected with anyone here.

Where are people hanging out tonight? Is there a good place to be?

Anyone want to meet for coffee or drinks or something?

It finally happened to me… wrong item in my order.

I was just thinking this past week how lucky I’ve been that nothing has ever been wrong in an order for me. Then, my most recent order just arrived a few moments ago.

Instead of my Burberry Goddess travel size perfume—which was $22.40 after the sale price + 20% off (and I paid with points on the order)— I received Ariana Grande’s God is a Woman travel perfume. 🤯😡😤

Verb Free Gift Available in Store - Has anyone had luck getting this in store?

It just got removed from my cart after sitting in it for days while I narrowed down my $125 points purchase. 😢

I’ll happily take my Verb product out of my cart and try to buy in store tomorrow if it is likely in stock 🫠

Has anyone seen these in store? It’s a packet sample of the shampoo/conditioner and mini of the oil.

Help! What is your experience with these shampoos?

Help! What are your experiences with these three?

Living Proof Full Shampoo

Redken Volume Injection Shampoo

Bumble and Bumble Thickening Volume Shampoo

I have low-density, fine 2A hair that is long. The top of my head always looks greasy on day two.

I think I’m becoming a sunscreen junkie…

I’ve become much more interested in non-US sunscreens, and recently settled on one I like. However, I just tried my little trial size of this sunscreen today, and it feels so nice! 🥲 Any comments from people out there who regularly use it?

I’ve also been itching to try Tatcha’s Milky Sunscreen… (I’ve had their The Silk Sunscreen). I’ve see rave reviews about it.

I have so much sunscreen. I don’t *need* new sunscreen.

Influence/Deinfluence Me! For the hair products: I have thin, long 2A hair.

I have thin, long 2A hair. I’m looking for a new shampoo. Also, I’m bummed I missed the deluxe sample of this Amika product in the GWP yesterday, so I want to try it. Have you used any of these hair products?

For my face — I’ve never tried the TirTir toner. Any thoughts on that?

Excited about my haul! The Beauty Break sold out and then went back in stock!

I have never tried Ouidad products. Hopefully they work well for my hair type.

Do we expect Amika to be part of the 10x multiplier in August?

I’m trying to decide if I want to buy now with the 5x event or if Amika will be 10x in August. Same with Verb. 🤔

I’m willing to get their “Only at Ulta” kits now for 5x points, but wondering if the brands will fall under the 10x category.

Not a bad deal on the Shark FlexStyle — Also asking opinions!

After wanting to get the FlexStyle with the diffuser, it ended up selling out before I bought it with my $125 points and 15% off. 😫

However, when I saw the Orchid Sunrise was to go on sale today AND be a part of the 5x multiplier, I figured that was an okay trade-off (I’ll just have to buy the diffuser attachment now 🫠).

So I got 1,048 points ($65.62 if redeemed at the 2,000 increment)… that’s technically $134.37 for the Shark FlexStyle!

I really debated the math on this one and if I should’ve just used my $125 rewards, pay $74.99, and then just get $24.61 worth of points out of it….. but 1048 points sounded great. 🫣 Sigh. Did I make the right decision?!

*****

✨ALSO - If anyone here has 2A, fine, thin, LONG hair (almost to my elbows) — what do you think of the Shark as a hair dryer, curler, diffuser, etc.?

I’ve been considering another high-end diffuser-only product, but figured I’d try the Shark first.

Thin, light wavy hair ladies — do you like these products?

I’m only recently learning that I likely have 2A hair and could be enhancing my waves better. What products do you use and what method do you use to enhance your waves? What did you do if you explored having wavy hair later in life? 🤣

Surprises in my GWP from this past weekend

The 4 piece gift turned out to be 5 pieces — I got an extra goodie: I’m From Rice Toner (1oz). I’m really excited about that. I’ve been wanting to try it.

For the second GWP, I’m actually really excited to get the It’s a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product instead of the Innersense spray (I’m not sure what spray it was… but I regularly use the purple It’s a 10 — this one is just the fragrance free version).

I also got a different wax bead… not that I am using those anyway. 😅

When do we expect the next prestige discount?

I fell asleep last night as I was lying in bed thinking about my final cart 🫠. (I had already made a couple other purchases.) Such a bummer. Lost out on about $50 because of it… so I might not even purchase except for my two 5x point products.

But that Shark FlexStyle won’t be on sale by the time the next coupon rules around. So missing that purchase hurts a little. I had $125 points to use with the coupon, too. 🥲

Waiting around really comes back to bite me a lot.

What is your favorite concealer brush if you have dark circles?

For context: I use Tarte CC Undereye Corrector and NARS Matte pot concealer.

I’ve been using a Real Techniques brush and am wondering if something better would help hiding my dark circles.

Influence/Deinfluence me…

I already know I love the Verb Ghost Oil. I passed up getting the 4oz bottle when it was just on sale to get this kit with the 15% off + 5x multiplier.

I use tretinoin. Skin is combination/dry.

Thinner hair. I don’t curl it much… not because I don’t want to, but I just lack the drive. I do already own a L’ange Hair Le Duo Airflow Styler. But I also like the idea of having a better hair dryer to replace my regular old Studiowise one.

These all fall under the “Only at Ulta” Category… but checkout only says I’m earning 91 points.

Am I misunderstanding something? Shouldn’t these all be 5x? They pull up on the page for that multiplier.
