ENTJs, help me build a realistic ENTJ protagonist👉🏻👈🏻
Hi everyone🌸,
I’m writing a novel, and my protagonist is an ENTJ. I’m not looking for stereotypes or textbook MBTI descriptions, I want real details from your actual life. The little things that make a character feel human.
He’s forced to work closely with someone who’s almost his complete opposite, quiet, emotional, introspective, and stubborn in completely different ways. They challenge each other constantly, and I’d love to write their dynamic as authentically as possible.
I’d love to hear your personal experiences on any of these:
How do you handle it when someone you care about is visibly upset?
How do you show you care without saying “I love you”?
What made you genuinely admire someone you didn’t expect to admire?
What makes you lose respect for someone almost instantly?
How do you react when someone challenges your decisions or authority?
What’s a fear or insecurity you rarely show?
How do you recharge after a draining day?
What’s something people constantly misunderstand about you?
What’s a small habit or quirk you have that almost nobody notices?
What is something you would never say out loud, but wish the people you care about simply understood?
If you read a novel with an ENTJ character, what one detail would instantly make you think, “yep… that’s one of us”?
Feel free to answer just one question or tell me a story that you think captures what it’s actually like to be you. Even small stories or random moments are incredibly helpful. I’m much more interested in real experiences than personality theory.
Thank you! :)🌸
