Don’t forget to feed your budgie

If you work for someone, work comes first while you’re on the clock. A budgie, dog, or any pet isn’t an excuse to leave early—you need to plan ahead. Reliable tradespeople stay organised, respect their employer’s time, and turn up ready to work. Professionalism, time management, reliability, work ethic, and accountability are what build a successful career in the construction and trade industry.
