Practice platform

I know LeetCode is the go-to platform for coding practice, but what's the cybersecurity equivalent?

I'm looking for something where I can consistently practice and improve my skills through hands-on challenges—not just learn theory. Ideally, I'd like a platform that helps build real-world problem-solving skills, similar to how LeetCode does for programming.

What platforms do you recommend, and why?

Where am I standing, I am not able to understand anything

I am currently experiencing a period of significant personal introspection and uncertainty regarding my emotional state and life direction.

A notable observation is a perceived detachment from my emotions. For instance, in a recent situation where a woman required assistance, and despite being in a position to make a decision among more experienced colleagues, I declined to intervene. This decision was made without any accompanying emotional distress, which I find unusual.

My social interactions have also shifted. I find myself disinclined to engage with others, maintaining a close friendship with only one individual. This has led to inquiries from acquaintances regarding my reduced social participation.

In terms of romantic interests, I find myself drawn to older, more mature, and open-minded women, as I perceive many of my peers as immature.

Upon returning to my hometown, I have received unsolicited communications from various individuals. However, given the local cultural expectations that often lead directly to discussions of marriage, I have opted to block these contacts.

My home environment also presents some complexities. My mother appears content, though the reasons for this are unclear to me. My father, however, expresses concern regarding my future, citing my irregular schedule and perceived lack of productivity, and frequently questions my life plans.

I have observed that I elicit strong reactions from others, ranging from admiration to animosity, though the underlying reasons for these sentiments remain unclear to me. Interestingly, I find myself indifferent to these external judgments, whether positive or negative.

Furthermore, I have lost interest in recreational activities I once enjoyed. Despite being on academic leave, I harbor reservations about returning to college, as I believe my initial academic performance may negatively impact future success.

In summary, I am grappling with a profound sense of emotional disconnect. I previously experienced emotions with significant depth, and their current absence is perplexing.

Should anyone have experience with similar circumstances, I would greatly appreciate any insights or guidance. I am genuinely seeking assistance in understanding and navigating this current phase of my life.

Where am I standing, I am not able to understand anything

I honestly don't understand what's happening to me anymore. I don't know where I am mentally or what I'm even doing with my life.

The biggest thing is that I feel like I've completely lost my emotions. Yesterday, there was a woman right in front of me who needed help. I was with people much older and more experienced than me. They all looked at me because I was the one who had to make the decision. I simply said "No." The weird part is... I didn't even feel bad about it.

I don't feel like talking to anyone anymore. I have only one female best friend. Everyone in my city knows that I don't hang out with anyone except her. People even ask me why I never spend time with them anymore.

When it comes to girls, I don't feel like talking to girls my age. Most of them seem immature to me. I only feel like talking to older women who are mature, open-minded, and don't judge people.

Ever since I came back to my hometown, random girls have somehow found my number or Instagram and started messaging me. The problem is, here it usually leads straight to marriage talks, so I just block them.

Things at home are weird too. My mom seems happy, and I don't even know why. My dad is worried about my future. He says I don't wake up on time, I don't finish work quickly, and he keeps asking what I'm going to do with my life.

Everyone else either likes me or hates me, but I honestly don't know why. The strange part is... I don't care. Whether someone judges me, hates me, or loves me—it doesn't affect me at all.

I don't even feel like getting high anymore. College is on vacation, but I don't want to go back either. I messed up so much during my first year that I feel like nothing good is going to happen in my second or third year anyway.

I seriously don't know what's happening to me. I used to feel everything so deeply. Now it's like all my emotions have disappeared. I can't understand what's going on.

If anyone has ever gone through something like this, I'd really appreciate some advice. I genuinely need it because right now I have no idea what's happening to me.

Just completed my first TryHackMe certificate. What should I do next?

Beginner's Cybersecurity Learning Journey

Starting Cybersecurity and Future Aspirations

• I just completed my first TryHackMe certificate (Pre Security), and I'm really happy to have taken the first step into cybersecurity.

• I'm still a complete beginner and want to build a strong foundation.

• My goal is to eventually get into ethical hacking/penetration testing, but I'm not sure what the best next step is.

Exploring Next Learning Steps

• Should I:

• Continue with another TryHackMe learning path?

• Focus more on Linux and networking first?

• Start doing CTFs?

• Learn Python alongside TryHackMe?

Seeking Guidance for a Solid Foundation

• I'd really appreciate any roadmap or advice from people who've been in the same position.

• I want to learn the right way instead of rushing through certificates.

• Thanks in advance! 😊

Just completed my first TryHackMe certificate. What should I do next?

Dear Team,

I am pleased to announce the successful completion of my initial TryHackMe certification in Pre-Security, marking my formal entry into the field of cybersecurity.

As a foundational learner, my objective is to establish a robust knowledge base. My long-term aspiration is to specialize in ethical hacking and penetration testing; however, I am seeking guidance on the optimal progression for my learning journey.

I would appreciate your insights on the following potential next steps:

* Should I pursue additional TryHackMe learning paths?

* Is it advisable to prioritize the development of my Linux and networking proficiencies?

* Would engaging in Capture The Flag (CTF) challenges be beneficial at this stage?

* Should I integrate Python programming into my TryHackMe studies?

I am particularly interested in receiving a structured roadmap or recommendations from experienced professionals who have navigated a similar career trajectory. My priority is to cultivate a comprehensive understanding rather than merely accumulating certifications.

Thank you for your anticipated support and advice.

I want to know something.

If a girl has an anxiety problem, then there is a fight between us regarding the past and then I call her mentally unstable over some issue. What effect would this have had on her? What she thinks about me?

Am I doing the right thing?

Hi everyone,

I'm a complete beginner in cybersecurity. To be honest, I don't know much yet, and I'm starting from scratch. I'm currently learning through TryHackMe and working on the Introduction to Cyber Security path.

I want to build a career in cybersecurity, but I'm a bit overwhelmed because there are so many different areas and resources.

For someone with no prior knowledge:

- What should I focus on first?

- What skills should I learn alongside TryHackMe?

- Are there any beginner-friendly resources, courses, or YouTube channels you would recommend?

- How did you start your cybersecurity journey?

Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Need a partner for tryhackme

Hey everyone,

I'm a beginner in cybersecurity and recently started learning on TryHackMe. I'm currently working through the Introduction to Cyber Security modules and plan to continue with Pre Security and Cyber Security 101.

I'm looking for a study partner or a small group of beginners to learn with, discuss concepts, solve TryHackMe rooms, and stay consistent together.

A bit about me:

• BBA student

• Interested in cybersecurity and ethical hacking

• Learning from scratch and committed to improving every day

If you're also a beginner and would like to learn together, feel free to DM me.
