Is Assetto Corsa still good for racing?

So, I took a long break from sim racing, and I’ve mostly just been playing F1 2020, but the AI is too boring. I want AI that feels realistic and aggressive. AMS2 is too expensive for me, and I was playing PC2, but I still feel like the AI is too easy.

I’ve been searching for a good sim racing game, but I already own AC. The problem is, I don’t know if AC is still mainly about racing or if it’s more about modding now. I want something focused on pure racing, but I’m not sure where I can find a good, organised league for racing. I know about LFM, but are there any other options? And what do you guys think about this?

The main problem is that I’d have to start all the modding again from scratch.

If I’m wrong about anything or said something offensive, sorry about that.

Recommend a free or inexpensive sim racing game compatible with a controller.

I want to play multiplayer sim racing without spending too much. I own Assetto Corsa, but it's not solely focused on racing and lacks in-game servers. I've also tried RaceRoom, but it's not entirely free-to-play. Are these my best options, or are there any deals for RaceRoom content?

I'm new to GitHub and have some doubts

I'm a college freshman in ECE with some coding experience, and I'm looking for advice on using GitHub and VSCode. I know I could Google this, but I'd appreciate hearing about your personal experiences. People have suggested posting on GitHub, but I'm unsure how helpful it is, especially with so many tools available. I believe I can get a student developer pack with my student ID, but I don't know if it's permanent or if it expires. If it does expire, should I create a new personal profile? Sorry if these are basic questions.

What are the most useful apps and websites every VITian should use to improve productivity and efficiency?

As a first-year student, I am seeking recommendations for software or websites that helped you a lot, so I can use them to ease my studies. I also heard that there are a few websites built by VITians specifically for VIT, could you please list those too?

Thanks in advance

Guys help me

I'm a boy who enjoys video games and everything about computers. I've been accepted into Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at SRM Ramapuram, and Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at VIT Vellore. I believe my admission to VIT was largely due to luck, and I'm concerned about the communication skills required for studying there. People say ECE is much harder than CSE, and I'm worried about surviving in such a competitive environment, especially concerning placements. Do you think I can cope? If so, what skills should I start learning now? I realize I can't game forever and need to develop real world skills.

Thanks in advance.

Is league of legends really bad?

I enjoy playing Valorant and chess, a combination I find engaging. Unlike purely mechanical games such as Rocket League, I prefer games that demand strategic thinking. I'm considering League of Legends, but the significant negative feedback on social media gives me pause. While all competitive games attract criticism, I'm curious if League of Legends truly warrants such strong dislike, especially given its consistent top-three ranking.

I know this game is free, so I can just try it out, but I'm curious to hear your advice for a new player. Thank you.

Srm vadapalani or ramapuram please guide me

SRM KTR is too far (2 hours away), so that's not an option. Vadapalani campus is very close (500m), and Ramapuram is 4km away. Which campus should I choose for CSE core? What are the pros and cons of each? Also, should I consider CSE with AI instead? Any general tips for a first year student would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I'm having trouble with Armoury Crate's GameVisual settings on my ASUS A15. The display doesn't change regardless of the profile I select. How can I fix this?

I'm looking for a battle royale game to play seriously. Fortnite isn't realistic enough, and Call of Duty is too fast-paced, so I chose PUBG PC. However, is ranked mode paid? I can't spend money on games right now, and unranked is frustrating because I consistently reach the top 10 but get sniped. Ranked would offer progression. Is there any way to access ranked for free, like waiting for a giveaway? Also, is the battle pass a one-time, permanent purchase?

I want to play games like Standoff 2, R6 Mobile, COD Mobile, PUBG, and Free Fire. Which emulator is best for these? I've heard Bluestacks is now bloatware. What's the best emulator right now?

Having recently finished Outer Wilds and Portal 2, both peak puzzlesolving experiences, I'm looking for well-made puzzle games that require high-level thinking, similar to portal 2, Outer Wilds, Door Kickers, Jagged Alliance, and the XCOM series.

I'm starting college this year and looking for app recommendations to make college life easier. I'm already learning Obsidian, Tasks, and NotebookLM. What apps do you find helpful? I'm also looking for free AI tools without subscriptions.

Thank you
